I have dealing with your pharmacy for several yrs. now for my compounding rx's. You were always good about calling & having them ready when you stated until recently. There was one that I had call you 2 times on and it took you several days to call back. Now the last 3 times they have not been ready when you said they would. I had to come back the next day & the girl with the long brown hair had to finish it while I waited. The last 2 times she has had to complete them while I waited. She is always courteous & usually knows what needs to be done. I would say now you have been very unprofessional & lack good customer service. I don't like waiting around nor do I like having to back the next day& still have to wait. To top it off when I've asked when I'm there nobody seems to care. I may have to find another more reliable pharmacy.

The staff at Foothills Professional Pharmacy are extremely professional and service oriented, in addition to being friendly. I love the fact that it feels like a “small town” drug store in the heart of Ahwatukee. My prescription is always ready when promised. Also, their pricing is more than fair. I have been using this pharmacy for about two years and would recommend it highly, especially over the impersonal chain pharmacies.

This is an exceptional pharmacy. Even as an out of state customer, the pharmacists and staff at Foothills provide friendly and personal service to me. They are always happy to answer any questions I have, and my auto-refills arrive on time and perfectly packaged for safe travels. Best of all, the pharmacists there are extremely knowledgable. My 13 year old son is a lifetime eczema sufferer and his pediatrician had tried everything she knew of to provide him some relief. On a whim, I called and asked if they had any suggestions for us, and within days, the pharmacist and our pediatrician had connected on the phone and we had in our hands the only cream to ever clear his eczema up literally overnight. I have a similar story with a tremendously effective pain cream they provided for me. We are so thankful for Foothills Professional Pharmacy, the knowledge they have and share, and their willingness to collaborate with our doctors for our family’s best. Their caring, personal service is second to none!

I have been unable to speak to anyone and have called at least 3 times and left messages. I went in to the pharmacy on Tuesday last week and was told I would get a call and the RX would be ready by Thursday latest,and still have not heard anything. It is now Tuesday of the next week. Very frustrating and unprofessional.I will transfer to another pharmacy.

This place is a horrible mess, my first time here about a month ago, they actually severely messed up on my prescription which they had to fix. Every time I call they are either rude or clueless. Don't recommend.

I have been using Foothills pharmacy for many years now and have not had one bad experience yet! The compounded creams that I use for homone therapy have always been of good quality and keep me feeling optimal. I like my prescriptions being delivered in the mail and appreciate the fact that they offer this service! Their customer service is great and always friendly and they always call to let me know when my prescriptions will be mailed and when to expect them. In this growing and busy world it's good to know that you can still count on getting the same old fashioned "small town" personal and quality service of days gone by...keep up the good work Foothills Pharmacy!

Foothills Professional Pharmacy is the best pharmacy in the valley. The staff is extremely professional and customer service oriented. They make it super easy to fill and pick up your prescription. They will even mail it to you. They call to check on you to make sure you don't have questions and even call you prior to your refill to remind you it is coming up. Completely disappointed! I was knocking on the door AT EXACTLY 1 O'CLOCK because it's Sunday and that is when they close. I would have accepted this and not plan so poorly. However, I was less than 0.7mi away when I called to hopefully arrive a couple of minutes prior to 1pm. I know the clock in my car is a few min fast, as it is synced with work. The gentleman was even kind enough to tell me the time he had, which was 1254. I replied I was thankful to know I had more time than I thought! BUT, when I arrived, based on the elementary mathematical calculation, it should have been 2 min before they closed. I've gone to Apothecaries all over the Valley for years simply to avoid the Energizer bunnies most big pharmacies hire as staff. I explained this story because #1, I have been a Registered Nurse for 14yrs; 8 of them spent in the Army. The patient advocate, caregiver, and duty to remain vigilant to what is best for a patient - is so very frustrated that there are and always will behealthcare professionals like the one I encountered today. Their office is closed until Monday.meaning, a patient in my situation would be without their prescription medication (which took 2 days as it is to prepare) FOR 5 DAYS IN A ROW! YET, THIS EMPLOYEE PROBABLY DIDNT STICK AROUND TO EVEN LOOK AT WHAT IT WAS FOR!!! LET ALONE HAVE TIME TO CONSIDER IF THE SITUATION COULD HARM THIS "PATIENT'". While all of that is enough of a a reason for me to take the time to write this (I RARELY write reviews). The worst part of it all is his complete lack of integrity. He could have explained that the door will be closed at exactly 1pm, it's policy or I haven't had lunch yet! BUT HE DIDN'T say anything close to that! I told him what intersection I was at, and I'm 99% sure I will make it! He replied "okay, sound good!" With a tone of conviction, that left me enthusiastic about seeing him in a couple of minutes.... Profusely appologizing for my epic fail & and praising him for being such a nice guy? I won't be using this ace again. Simply because this lack of professionalism and irresponsible behavior of this healthcare professional has shown me that closing his door on a patient without their medication E 2 min early based on our brief conversation, or even EXACTLY ON TIME screams to me "DANGER! DANGER!". they SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE TRUSTED WITH ANY PATIENTS CARE!

You cannot beat the friendliness of the staff and how quickly they get you taken care of. You also cannot beat their very competitive very low pricing. I saved over $140 on a prescription not covered by insurance by switching over to Foothills Professional Pharmacy when switching over to them from a pharmacy commonly used by others who have not yet learned of Foothills Pharmacy. I did my homework & had been taking this particular prescription long enough to know which pharmacies charge what and my savings is compared to CVS, Walgreens, Frys, Walmart, Sam's Club, etc. It's the same prescription, same everything...simply different pharmacy (Foothills Professional Pharmacy).

My prescription has no active ingredient. I received a placebo. I called the pharmacist and he is compounding some new medicine. I will follow up with a review of the replacement. Second round of my prescription has no effect. Apparently compounding pharmacies use diluted ingredients.

Pharmacist Todd Kokaly went out of his way to talk to me about new treatment options that would be more affordable and potentially more effective. He was right the new medication was less costly and has been much more effective. Thanks to all at Foothills

I had to pick up medicine for my cat (Prozac for an anxious kitty, pictured here for your cat-viewing pleasure) and needed a special compounding pharmacy. I don't live in the Ahwatukee area, but I'd heard excellent things about the place and I figured I would check it out. I'm so glad I did. I got a call saying that the prescription would be filled and the date it would be picked up (only a few days, since it needed to be made special), and the woman that helped me over the phone was very friendly and personable. When I arrived to pick it up a few days later, the staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the Prozac, and gave detailed information about how much and when I should give it to my cat. They were patient and explained any side effects that she might experience, too. In addition to the one syringe I would need, they gave me extra droppers and a medicine bottle cover and explained how to best fill the droppers up. The facility was also very clean and well maintained. I was extremely pleased with the service and professionalism and I will definitely be returning when my kitty needs her refill!

This place was good until late 2018, then something happened. They are short staffed, don't answer their phone, late on prescriptions, and I could swear the dosage is wrong.

Everytime we go to refill our prescription, there is always a problem. Either they don't answer when we call, or they never call back. They also seem to never know what the status is of our refill when we do manage to get a hold of them. It's just a really unprofessional place to deal with.

I love this Pharmacy! Very proficient and a job well done. I dropped off two prescriptions for compounds and both were ready when promised. James the technician made sure I got the best coverage for my prescription and made sure I was consulted by a licensed Pharmacist. I highly recommend Foothills Professional Pharmacy! Very professional indeed.
