My experience with Geneva Woods in 2015 and now in 2019 have been night and day (from quite positive to quite negative). As I have pointed out this transition in service I have been repeatedly told that the difference in service is due to a transition in ownership (CVS now owns Geneva Woods). While I find the majority of their nursing staff to be pleasant, my first assigned nurse did not have professional bedside manner (often gruff, non-caring demeanor). Between the first two nurses I was assigned to, my PICC line was pulled 4.5 cm in just four dressing changes (leaving me 2 cm of leeway for the duration of my pregnancy). But my worst experience thus far has been dealing with the pharmacy itself, and the pharmacists who prepare/oversee the TPN production. Each week, there have been dosing errors (based on my doctor's order and my weekly intake reports), repeated failures to deliver supplies on the specified date, and unprofessional responses from the pharmacy staff regarding same. Each "manager" or "manager of a manager" I speak with in the Anchorage location treats the issues with the same casualness.

Great staff, friendly and helpful! I was worried about switching from my usual pharmacy to a mail service, but these folks have been very helpful all along the way. They have made the process simple, and everything has gone smoothly. I'm happy to not need to drive back and forth to the pharmacy anymore. Would recommend.

Friendly staff that approaches clients as though they are important...I do feel they may be understaffed which can directly impact employee consistentincy and team work..mistakes will be made when contact my faced with multi tasking at some point balance isn't going to be able to support efficient and detail orientated job tasks.

I have waited 3months now for Geneva woods on International road to get my C-Pap machine fixed. In the meantime I am exhausted and wake up every morning with a headache from the apnea spells during nighttime . The staff have very little compassion for client suffering and brush off the responsibility to getting equipment back in a timely manner. I would never recommend this company! Unfortunately their is only one other completing company in Anchorage with just a bad performance.

You can really tell that that staff at Geneva Woods pharmacy really cares about their patients. From the minute you walk in the door they treat you like their number one priority patient and make sure that you get the equipment or medication that you need and provide you with all the information you need to make sure that you are set to go before you on your way. I have no problem at all recommending them to anyone that is in need of their products.

Prior to geneva woods there was Frontier Medical. Frontier was amazing, fast survice, when you had a problem they solved it quickly and the people there were great. Aaron, one of the staff members at Frontier was just a blessing, he went above and beyond for my son. Then geneva woods took over and the survice has been a terrible. I have never felt like we were important, survice is slow, you if you make a call good luck receiving a call back any time soon. My son had a wheelchair fitting sometime in early June and it is now November 13th and I'm still waiting.... Was told that it might take a month or two. I called after two months to check the status and they were still waiting for the pediatrician's signatures (this is the first step). I was told they tried to get ahold of the office but with no luck... What a joke, it doesn't take two month to get a signature from a provider. I had those papers signed and faxed within 1 day of finding this out. Now 5 month later my son barely fits his wheelchair. If you are in need of medical equipment fast, I would see what options are out there before contacting GENEVA WOODS.

I cannot say enough about Geneva Woods! I came down with a nasty case of Staph after a scheduled surgery to my foot and everyone there has been beyond awesome. From the Infusion Nurses to the Pharmacists. Great communication between them and my Doctor. Hope I never have to see them again but a great crew! Oh and I forgot to mention the delivery people. Again so thankful for them too!

HORRIBLE PATHETIC PLACE! I had been waiting for a wheel chair for my son for 8 months!! Instead of promised 3-4... We live in Anchorage, Alaska. More than that they delivered the wheelchair according to them on time to the OLD address.. The address, which nothing never has been delivered for! They just did not deliver anything.. That is it! It was just a reason that they came up with.. Please, people, never ever have anything to do with them! Pathetic company! I hope that is the very last time we are dealing with them. And this stupid employee Tiffany.. Who has no idea what the hell she is talking about.. Trash them.

Worst Pharmacy EVER. Between sending my meds to the wrong house , neglecting to send out meds all together, the techs misreading my scripts on 3 separate occasions, cashiers not having their cash drawers ready for business at 9 am, no online services, incompetent staff. The ONLY reason I continue to do business is that they are the ONLY pharm that attempts to deliver...*sigh
