After Rove, came to spray for the ants outside, the floor inside of my house was moving of how many ants I had. I promptly canceled the service and company told me that I have to pay $110 cancelation fee. When I told them that I have never signed any contract. They had signature from one of their services that they made me sign on the ipad which I thought would confirm their service. Instead, they used my signature and placed it on the contract that I never seen before. Now, I have collections calling me to collect this Fraudulent amount. Stay away!!!

We've had a really good experience with Rove so far. The tech was great and got rid of the spiderwebs in my garage and gave it a good spray. My wife is much happier!

Guy came to my door and did a sales pitch stating that all my neighbors were using the service. He told me that I can signup for the service and cancel anytime that I was not under contract. Well gave it a try, and they only made things worse. Come to find out days after signup for the service that I actually was under contract. Lie #1. Then after my initial and subsequent $150 treatments we says an increase in rodents and bugs not a decrease - Lie #2. We ended up getting a Bee infestation, increased stink bugs falling on us while we laid in bed as they infiltrated into the house, increase in mice. Terrible. Even further, they charged us for service while there was snow all over the ground do not sure what they could have been able to do especially when nothing they do generally works. if you don't like being lied to, falsely placed under contract, or have your existing rodent/bug issues get worse, then here is your warning.

Force you to continue service unless you call them at end of your contract. I moved out of my home, 2 months later get notice they are coming out. I called to let them I don't live there but since I did not give them 30 day notice (like a utility company...their words) I still had to pay for no service preformed. This is the worst business model and company service. I will not use them in any future home and recommend everyone else not use them either. They were more interested in my $100 today then any future sales...so hope they enjoy the wopping $100.

Very unsatisfactory. Beware of contract which will not allow you to cancel. Spiders increased inside of home after switching spider control companies. Prior spider control company had no spiders in the house after external application. Rove wanted access to interior which I refused due to not wanting any type on interior pesticides as well as inconvenience- still would not cancel. Rove is applying finance charges and stating I must pay for remaining contract -CANNOT CANCEL. I would give zero stars if I could.

Signed a contract for quarterly services and let them know we had spiders out back and bees in the mail box. They sprayed and... nothing. No bugs were gone- mosquitoes, beetles, ants, bees, spiders. Nothing. We sprayed the bees with a 5$ can of spray from Menards and they were gone in less than a day. Called them in Spring to let them know we DON'T want them anymore and they said, "well, you signed a contract". So, we got the last contracted 100$ spray of water and called to cancel the upcoming services last week. Today, they're out back spraying again! Customer service is pointless; they follow a script to try and keep you and they don't listen. WE DO NOT WANT YOU AND WE WON'T PAY FOR YOUR GARBAGE. Thanks.

We have been using Rove for roughly 6 months now (through Spring/Summer & now into Fall)... we couldnt be happier with how great they have been for us! We had a huge black ant colony within the frame of our front picture window... to the point that the black ants were literally just pouring out in the hundreds, into our living room when we disturbed the nest trying to spray a few ants. Rove came right out, sprayed the nest, left traps, sprayed the house & the entire yard (we have a very large corner lot)... shockingly we have not even seen another black ant anywhere on our property ever since that day!). The red ants are another story, they are difficult to keep away with as much rainfall as we have had the past 6 months, but we just call up Rove, they send out our usual guy (Jeff...absolutely great guy!), & he takes care of any concerns we might have, as often as we need him to come out for no extra charge! We had a large wasp nest hidden behind the siding at the corner of our garage... Jeff came right out & killed the Queen & others, which within a couple days had the rest of the nest dead without their Queen. I truly can not say enough great things about Jeff & Rove... as much as we dont look forward to paying for pest control a second year (considering we have owned another house for 13 years without a single pest problem), we are struggling with whether or not we should keep Rove just for the great feeling of not having a single bug in the house... and when we say not a single bug, we even mean spiders!!!! They told us right up front how hard it is to keep spiders from coming in the house, due to how delicately spiders can crawl over the chemicals without worrying about chemicals killing them. For anyone doubting Rove, we get it! We were very skeptical at first & almost to the point of cancelling before they had came out... after that first visit, we promise you, you will feel much better about choosing Rove! Rove. If your listening, we would love a huge discount to stay for a 2nd year... LoL! Signed, Jeff's favorite Blue house customers P.S. for anyone who is claiming a bad review regarding a heavy cancellation fee... WELL DUH, You signed a 1 year contract, just like every other pest control company makes you do if you want their service (your mistaken if you think others dont do this exact same contract... look at Orkin's)! You cancel early & your still stuck owing the full amount you would have had to pay for the full year of service! Also, Rove tells you over & over again, if you continue to see a problem (or a problem in another area), call them right away & they come back as often as you need them to, all for free in between your scheduled charged visits! It's no joke!

They come every quarter and spray the exterior of my home and inside when I've been seeing activity. I appreciate the customer service gals, especially Jolene. She's been great to work with when I've needed a re-service for specific pests.

Great service and an even better technician! J.B. made our experience so comfortable and is well knowledgeable in regards to his job. He made sure he explained thoroughly what he was doing, what to expect, and even gave us a small lesson on the bug cycle of life. I have a very bad experience with them. I had some elder box bug in my back yard, I want to get ride off. They knocked my door said they were serving my neibor want to know if I’m interested because when bugs can’t get to my neighbors guess where they will go. He also told me he’s giving me a deal it’s only $99 and if I don’t like their work I can call them back to redo the job or exit the program. The truth is whatever they put on my grass doesn’t work at all!!! I still have the bug everywhere!!! When I called and want to exit the program they told me I have to pay a huge penalty. DON’T USE ROVE!!!!

Rove had one of their reps stop by because their tech was going to be in the area, so I had them set me up even though I didn't have much of a bug problem. They told me I might notice an influx of bugs after the first treatment. I was skeptical because, like I mentioned, hadn't had seen much activity. They were right, and I'm glad they told me otherwise I would have freaked out. They told me if I see bugs between services to call and they would come out for free. They right again, noticed some ants along the foundation and they were back out in a day or 2 for a free re-service. I would recommend Rove. Get their flush out because you would be surprised at the bugs that are hiding in the cracks and crevices of you home. Thank you Rove!!

Do not use this company. Unscrupulous billing practices. Cheat on their contracts. Plus they charge a huge cancellation fee. I hired them to get rid of my ants, I still have ants 4 months later.

DO Not use this useless Pest Control service - a Huge Rip OFF High pressure salesman knocks on your door on July 4 holiday. Sells you 12 months of rodent only control service for $200. After 4 months of service (not 12 months) they charged $180 for 3 bait boxes that never killed a single field mouse, chipmonk, or vole. Useless ripoff. A total waste of you hard earned money. Avoid Rove Pest control!

Rove does an excellent job providing wonderful service and getting rid of all the bugs! I would not hesitate to recommend their services. Our technician Mike B. did a great job and took his time as he sprayed the inside and outside of our home. He used a few different products and took his time to hit all the areas of my home where bugs are likely to enter. I also appreciate that they wear protective foot coverings over their boots when they enter the house. A lot of companies can offer to spray for bugs but to me the difference is in the service that is provided. I initially used Rove for a year and then stopped because I was not seeing any bugs. I discontinued service to save some money and because I thought the bugs wouldn’t come back but I was wrong! The following Spring I saw several carpenter ants in my house so I didn’t hesitate calling Rove to start back up with regular service. Do not hesitate to do their year service contract. The price is discounted and they offer to come back anytime between scheduled services for free to respray your home if you see any bugs. I also like that the same technician comes to my house each time and at the end of the visit they provide me with extensive notes regarding their visit and what specific services/applications they performed while onsite. I also had the opportunity to meet the Manager JB who is very experienced and knowledgeable. He hires responsible, respectful and friendly team members who take pride in their work. Thanks again Mike & JB and keep up the good work!

Since starting my service with them i have been nothing but happy. I was having huge issues with ants and spiders when i first signed up and am seeing none of the issues i had before. They are always very quick to come out and fix any issues that do happen to pop up. The tech i have always had,Alex Shepard. is always incredible friendly and professional and always makes sure to get the service done correctly but as quickly as possible to help any disruption of the day the service can cause when I want the inside of my home done. Would recommend!

horrible customer service.... its a sham... dont fall into it... its like you are hooked for life. service is really bad... i wish i had done some research before i got into this with Rove Pest Control... i called in Dec to cancel my services as i was moving out... and i have been their customer for almost 2 years... they kept charging me, when i called to ask why was i being charged they said, " ooh we never got your request to cancel, e need 30 day notice "... i said i cancelled it over a month ago... she said we dont have any record of you calling so you better pay up. this is just horrible customer service ... i asked if i could speak to the supervisor i was told " no one is in the office at the moment" and this was 10 am... guess what, all the reviews on their site in 5 stars, when i asked them i would to add my review they said, " ooh we dont have that option, and good luck with your review". .

If I could give this company negative stars I would! DO NOT use this company if you value your time and money. They appeared on our doorstep and offered a $29 special, noting that our neighbors also used their services. After their first treatment, our house was infested with ants and spiders (we had not had that problem before but used their services as a precautionary step because we live next to a corn field). We called and immediately complained and someone was supposed to come and retreat. After the retreatment, the problem continued to persist and we cancelled with them. It was only after telling them we no longer needed their services that the magically noted my husband had signed a contract and they have been incessantly send us a bill for $128. Shelly, the woman I spoke to about the bill had the audacity to state that their pest control program takes ONE YEAR to be effective. That is the MOST OUTRAGEOUS thing I've ever heard of before! Who would engage a pest control service if it will take ONE YEAR for it to work???? Total rip off company and horrid customer service. They should try putting in as much time and effort into ensuring their products and services worked and taking care of their customers, as they do into ripping people off. STAY AWAY IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE HEADACHE OF GETTING RIPPED OFF!

Called to cancel they told me to not to and they would come do a complimentary service. Then when talking to the rep to schedule(in Sept) She clarified that I wouldn’t be back on billing cycle until Dec...they charged me in Sept. After days of back and forth calls to try to clarify I was received rudely by the rep and told NO one was going to change the charge regardless of the prior conversation of no charge. Terrible customer service.

Spiders and bugs have increased since we have started using this company for over a month now, they are not transparent and will lie to get a sale. They will also charge you a heavy cancellation fee. I highly recommend you do "NOT" use them.

We had an ant problem in our house and lots of wasps under our deck and they took care of it! We were with another company and we were still having problems, so we switched to Rove last year. They've been fabulous. I like that they didn't just spray outside, but they come inside too.

A guy from rove pest control came to my door one day and gave me this speech about their service, the cost, and how all of my neighbors were using it. I signed up for it because it gave my wife peace of mind. We got our first bill and it was higher than what the guy said it would be so I immediately called and they said it would be taken care of. Months later I actually had MORE stink bugs than I did before and caught a mouse from a trap that I bought from Home Depot. I called and told them I wanted to cancel their service because it costs more than what I was told and it wasn't helping. (I also found out from my neighbor that they never had the service so the salesman lied to us.) The woman on the phone told me that I was going to have to pay some huge fee to get out of the contract. I told her that absolutely wasn't going to happen because I was lied to about how much it actually cost and that I want nothing more to do with this company. I made it very clear and the woman said she understood. Fast forward to months later and I just got another bill saying I owe money for ANOTHER service they just did. I had it out with the guy on the phone and told him what happened. He said he could see that I talked to a woman on the phone months ago, but that they did another service and I still owed money if I wanted to quit. He also kept pushing that I signed a contract. Yes, I was told a certain price for their service and then signed a contract. I didn't get the bill until months later when it was suddenly way higher. That's how they scam you, tell you a certain price, you sign the contract, then you get a bill that costs more and they tell you that it will cost way more to cancel or try and push you into paying higher prices for a service that does nothing. I'll make sure nobody I know will use this service. Dishonest.

Rogue.... I mean Rove Pest Control is awful, in my opinion. They come to your door to sell you a $1.00 trial of their product without explaining you are comitted to a $600 contract, then when you call to inquire about the bills you received and to cancel, they are extremely unprofessional and start yelling over the phone that "you signed a contract, its not their fault you didn't read the fine print". I was never shown any fine print before signing. By the way, I saw little to no difference or a slight increase in bugs when they treated our house. Sorry to say, but this business is a scam and has a very sketchy business model. The good reviews are from friends and family. Nathaniel Kelly, one of the reviewers who gave 4 stars was our service tech with Rove. He was great, but just proving my point that the reviews are from friends, employees and family.

What a joke! Don't do it unless you have a serious mice problem. I just had a bee problem I could have fixed for less than the $500 I'm going to end up paying because they suckered me into a 5 application contract. They named dropped my neighbors and used my name all around the neighborhood to get others to purchase their rip off plan.

These guys showed up at our door offering their services when we just moved in last summer. We didn't know we had a huge wasp problem at the time, but let me just say we got our moneys worth! They came out multiple times, cleared all the nests out and now one year later the house is looking great with no issues.

My husband and I were having horrible problems with wasps. James came and knocked down the wasp nest for us! He checked around the yard to make sure there were no other nests but found 2 more! He took care of them too. He was polite and worked quickly! We will use rove again if ever needed!

We signed up when they had a special as a preventive measure, and chipmunk activity dropped significantly within 6 months. Rove has come to do treatments as scheduled and have always been personable and friendly when at our home. I had called about a critter under our deck and they were here asap to take care of it.
