UPDATE: the below review was my original post and those events still transpired. However, this company has done a great deal to ensure that my opinion changed. They have made up for the original problem and the quality of the work they preformed is of the highest caliber. Do not use this company! Hired them to install inclusion netting for birds around the perimeter of my home. Initial quote was for over $1400. Agreed to the quote and work began. After one day of work they informed me that if I wanted them to complete the job it would cost another $500. Refused to pay additional funds to complete a job they have quoted me an exact amount on. After going back and forth with them for a few days they agreed to complete half the job... Which they had already partially completed for half of the initial quote. Hired Echelon pest control to complete the remainder of the work and did a great job and also had to fix some of the errors that Rambo created on the side of the house they completed. Please please please do not hire this unethical company.

I just love Rambo Pest Control! I have dealt with Luke, the owner and now I deal on a regular basis with Russ. They are very professional and responsive to my pest control needs. They arrive on time, put covers on their shoes so as not to make a mess and explain thoroughly what they have accomplished on their service call. Plus they email me an inspection report after every service call for my review. I have used other national services but Rambo Pest Control is the BEST! I have been with them now for six years and I am very pleased. I highly recommend their quarterly service plan (Advanced Protection Plan) where they come on a regular basis and handle anything else that might come in the meantime up such as a bee's nest in the summer. When I moved into my new (115 year old) home six years ago I did not expect to be greeted by 200,000 black odorous ants nicely settled into my walls. They had living/dining rooms, nurseries for the kiddies, etc. Now I do well with many odd pets, lizards & snakes; spiders are ok, but please! Black multifooted creatures on my kitchen counters hoisting a whole loaf of bread in unison, then heading for the highway like well disciplined mini Rangers puts fear in my heart. We had Blake come out for an initial consult to check for rats and mice. I didn’t know what to expect all i knew is that the lady on the phone got him to my house in under 4 hours and that alone made me ecstatic. Blake was extremely thorough and explained everything every step of the way. He has come out twice now and long story short we’ve been recommending, not only Blake, but everyone at Rambo ever sense. I only wanted to get rid of this one rat but after talking with them (in no way did they push this at all) i made the decision to have them make multiple visits throughout this year. We are in a wooded area and ants come up from the lake to the house in warmer weather. Rambo TPC keeps them under control. We had a plague of spiders Rambo TPC beat them back and when things were under control were gracious about discontinuing that service.

Russ has been a godsend and has shown why Rambo is the only pest company anyone will ever need. I had rats he got rid of them, I had ants he got rid of them, I had wasps he got rid of them. The wasps were even an emergency call since they were surrounding our mailbox and the mailman would not deliver because of the danger. The mailman was extremely happy that the wasps were gone with no delay in mail service. Russ is always happy and full of honest advice for any question(s) I may ask as is the rest of the crew. My husband and I were EXTREMELY disappointed with Rambo. Our rental property became infested with cockroaches, which I know are difficult, but Rambo guaranteed that they would get rid of them. They had 5 weeks of a completely empty house with no tenant to live up to their guarantee, and the roaches still didn't go anywhere. Our new renter had to sleep in a tent on her first night in her new home with her young children because 20+ roaches were still crawling around the entire house. Now, 8 weeks later - she is still killing roaches. We have decided to fire Rambo and hire Terminix instead. They charged just under $300 for this "guarantee", and after only 5 weeks they said we had to start paying $69 per visit because they had to keep coming to the house. They are trying to tell us that the guarantee was voided because we removed traps, which is not the case. We wanted the suckers out, and there's no way we would take away traps (in a vacant house) just for fun. It is completely ridiculous that we paid all that money and are still in the same spot 8 weeks ago that we began in. Save your money, save your sanity, and go with Terminix instead, who BTW, only charge $219 for 3 MONTHS OF GUARANTEED SERVICE, no matter how many times they have to come back.

I live next to a wetland so the potential for unwanted uncritters is high. The guys at Rambo do a great job of making sure that doesn't happen. They arrive when they've committed to, spot potential problems so i can avoid them, and are honest about how much service I really need (and have recommended coming less often when the situation allows). THECANDEES HOME

We've owned our place for close to 2 years now. We removed 11 big fur trees and completely re-landscaped the property. From day one we knew we had ants but they were outside and the large ones so I sprayed and treated myself. This year we noticed the small "odorous ants" but they were outside until now. I did my research on pest control companies and decided to give Rambo a shot. Butch came out the next day and I explain the history and everything I could possibly think of about when and where and what they looked like. He was very informative and listen to everything without rushing me. He then explained all the things he could do and the expectations. As I explained to him I have no problem signing up for annual treatment as long as the problem gets fixed and stays fixed. But I'm not going to continue a treatment that doesn't make them dissappear. He assured me after the initial hit there would be an increased sighting of ants and that is expected but after a few weeks that would drop and after a few months we shouldn't see them. Then with quarterly treatment they should stay gone. (Any new ants coming onto the property/house will get infected and die before they can make a home) So we paid for the initial visit, diagnosis and treatment which was $269 and will pay about $60 each for the next two visits 30 and 60 days from now then $90 every 3 months for treatments. As long as it solves the problem I have no problem with that. So 4 star now and if the problem is solved then I will update to 5. If it doesn't solve the problem then it will be a lower rating and either way I will update this review. I will say I feel very comfortable with what I know now and impressed with the professionalism.

Not to happy with rambo pest control right now I have a yearly contract and they sprayed all winter I thought that was a waste as ants are not active in the winter first sign of warm weather and we have the sugar ants are back I have called three times and even taked the guy that comes out to spray I understand they extra busy do the warm weather and would understand if they would just return my call and say they are busy and will get back to me ! Everyone I have talked to in the past has been real friendly but do not wait by the phone for a return phone call.

This is my second review in several years. Rat's! Rat's! Rat's! Rambo kills Rat's. Rat's are smart. Rambo's techs think like Rat's. They are unbelievably good. But I'm sure they would do the same for carpenter ants, termites, spiders or any other critter that is unnerving your tranquil home environments. Everybody leaving a post will probably tell you how good these guys are at exterminating pesky varmints and bugs... but here is something really cool. Every time they come out they email you a report of what's going on about things that you would never see. I have a huge yard and 2 out buildings. Rambo has 5 rodent feeding stations on my property. Yep it's rat poison. Every quarter I get my RAT REPORT . Station # 3 and # 5 are always empty. 1 , 2 and 4 have nominal feeding. Do you know how many Rat's I don't get? Neither do I. because I am RAT FREE!!! Rambo took care of my Rats when a competitor didn't get it done. Rambo took care of my Rat's when my "Rat Terrier" gave up. It's cheaper than having Cat's. No vet bills. No food bills. You guys are great. As long as own a home I'll be using Luke and company. Keep up the good work.

Okay, kind of a long story but a good ending. A few weeks ago I found a lot of dead yellow jacket bees in my garage window ceil, I didn’t think much since they were dead, so I cleaned them up and forgot about them. About a week later the same thing, again I cleaned them up. Low and behold the next week there were more. It was time to call around for bee/pest control, and I got an appointment for tomorrow. Today my brother n law Rob Jezek stopped by and we started looking around to see if we could find were they were coming from and where to spray or put one of those wasp bombs. We found an area where my chimney and siding should come together but there was a big gap and bees were buzzing in and out like crazy. Rob climbed up the attic ladder in the garage to check if he could see anything. While he was up there I noticed a spot on my garage ceiling so I took the broom and gently brushed that area, Holy Cow, the ceiling opened up and the yellow jackets came swarming out, just like a horror movie!

We had a problem with rats because we have chickens, and the rats are attracted to their food, then they come into the basement for warmth. Luke found where they were getting into our crawl space and sealed up the small, hidden openings. He set traps, caught and killed the rats, and put kid-proof bait stations outside. (Also chicken-and pet proof). With re-baiting as needed, we have had no more problems with rats. Thank you very much for your knowledge and great service!

It turned out it was a little worse than we had originally thought and they came right back out, no question, and we have been bee free ever since. I have never had to obtain pest control services before, but when a rat decided to move into our new house with us, it was time to find someone. We happened upon Rambo Pest Control and Butch came out right away, sealed up our holes and set out bait stations. We have had no unwanted occupants since! I have also added insect services and was pleased to not have spiders and ants in my house this past winter. Butch is the best! He provides excellent, professional, friendly and courteous service. He provides detailed inspection reports and reviews them with us at each visit. He is always ready and willing to answer any questions we have, taking as much time as needed. We also had Rambo service a relative's home with a much bigger rodent problem than ours. Again, immediately after Butch's visit, no more critters in the house! I have been with Rambo for about 6 years now and have had several pest issues over that time. Rambo's team has always fixed the problem right away. I initially had a different company for home and business. They were never very fast to jump on the problems and not successful when they did. They just wanted to spray around the buildings every 3 months and forget everything else. Rambo's team listens to the problem and has always shown up the next day, then gets the job done. Fast friendly and knowledgeable. They are great!
