I called about a problem, was told what options were available to me and what the cost was going to be and when I agreed was able to get an appointment for the next day. Paul arrived on time and went right to work. He asked what the problem was and where and explained what he was going to do. He also took time to answer my questions and was personable and professional. The treatment he provided has been working.

Company was right on time. The service tech. explained what he would do. Said we should stay out of the house for 2 hours so we left. I wish I had stayed and watched just what he did so I would have had a better idea of how our home was treated. I felt comfortable with this company and their employee. I would like to commend Longs in general & Nate in particular. All our experiences with Longs have been very positive. Today I would like to thank Nate in particular for noticing & relaying a potential situation that could be hazardous to us. We have several bird feeders hanging outside our kitchen window & Nate noticed RAT droppings on the ledge. He suggested we inspect for any potential rodent access points. If all is sealed tight we needn’t move the feeders. I am vety grateful that Nate brought this to my attention. We certainly don’t want rats in our home. Thank you Nate!!! Thank you Longs.

I was very happy with my experience with Long Pest Control. When I called in to do some research on pest control because of a rat problem I am having. When my call was answered the person on the other end (Katie) answered all my questions, addressed all my concerns and even quoted me a great price for an initial house call for an inspection. I spoke to a few pest control companies today and none of them offered me the service that Long Pest Control did. When I do make my decision Long Pest Control will get my business.

I've been a customer for over 5 years. Long Pest Control has solved my rat problem, moles in the lawn (they spray for crane fly larvae and the moles no longer feed there) and the regular spraying of the outside perimeter for spiders/termites/ants. What a refreshing experience. Until I used Longs I was jaded about pest control companies. I had used two other local companies and neither of them solved the problem. I turned to Longs because a friend had referred me to them. I was skeptical, but hopeful. The service guy from Longs was great about explaining what needed to be done and what hadn't been done correctly by the prior two companies. Its been 6 months since they took over pest control at my house and I'm thrilled. Seems weird to be this excited about a pest control company, I know, but I've had bad service from others and I would be happy to prevent anyone I know from having to go through it. Longs is the Best!

Excellent service!! I called with a concern after finding an insect that I thought would cause a problem. I was reassured by a very knowledgeable woman on the phone. She did not even feel that a visit was necessary. I requested an inspection because of my concern. A gentleman was sent to the island in 3 days. While repainting my front porch, I suspected termites due to the condition of the wood railing. Long Pest Control sent a tech who was here when expected, both date and time. We had the best experience with Long Pest Control. Our house had subterranean termites and we were in desperate need to get this pest issue under control. We called Long Pest Control and they were able to come out for the preliminary inspection within a few days. The technician was kind, thorough, and took time to educate us on all things termites (we had a lot of questions). We had to take care of a few items at the house ourselves before having them back to treat the termites, and during that process, we continued to have questions. Anytime we called the office for guidance, they were incredibly kind, would listen to our concerns, and give us feedback on the item(s) in question. After the initial inspection, we were also able to pinpoint the exact area where the pests were coming into our home, and the technician came back (free of charge) to reevaluate the updated condition. Upon inspection, the company was able to refine the treatment areas, and considerably reduce the fee for the termite treatment. Overall, the customer service was superb! If we ever needed help with a pest problem, we would definitely work with Long Pest Control again! Big thanks to everyone who helped us during the entire inspection and treatment process.

I would give them more stars if it was an option. From my initial call, to service, to follow up. 5 stars all the way. Many (too many to count) years ago, I worked in the pest industry, so I am generally able to handle most issues with my home on my own. However, I had a bees nest up under my vinyl siding in a corner, and my attempts to get stuff up there were unsuccessful. I needed a professional. Like anyone I googled to the area. I will not use the big corporations such as Orkin, they are always more expensive, and not necessarily better, and I like to work with smaller companies. Anyway, saw Longs on the list, they were local, and after reading through their reviews, gave them a call. They close at 5, I called at 4:52. The woman who answered the phone was delightful, did not seem to be annoyed by the end of the day call, and laughed in all the appropriate places, and was very clear and concise in what to expect. We scheduled a time (they do not do "windows"). I made arrangements for somebody to be at my house. My appt was for 11am day after next. On the day of, I received a call about an hour ahead of my scheduled time, it was the tech, and he was running very early, would it be convenient(he was definitely about my convenience, and I don't doubt that had it not been convenient it would not have been a problem) for him to come sooner, he was 15 mins away. He was very nice, and as it worked out, it was totally fine. He arrived about 12 mins later, just as stated. Was very pleasant and professional. He performed the task, spoke to me in a professional and intelligent manner, explained what to expect, I paid a reasonable fee and he was off about his day. It has been about 4 days since the treatment, and I received a call from the office following up on the bee activity, and to make sure that everything was fine. It was, not a sign of them anywhere. Again, professional and sincere. I then received an email follow up, with a copy of my receipt, and instructions on what to do if they return in the next 30 days etc. I simply cannot recommend them enough. In the future, should I have the need, I know who to call.

Called mid day on a Wednesday, got a partial quote for our building with a follow up call coming. No follow up call by end of next day so I called in, they still didn't have a quote finalized, and then said they had no availability for 4 more business days, even though the initial day I called they could have booked me on the day I needed. Waste of time and money, they lie when booking then try to really quickly slide a contract in saying if they do a bad job you gotta pay them anyway if ya cancel them, was told one price then they tried to switch that, the lady who booked it then called back to call me a liar rather then admit she made a mistake, took a day off a work for nothing, and still have ants, terminix will be here Wednesday so i suggest you all call someone else cause these jokes will either take advantage of you or waste your time. Very impressed with the guys that have come out and helped with our problem. We needed some pretty intense rodent removal, and they provided it, along with crawl space traps, two new crawl space doors, and reinforcement of the vent screens. They checked on their work and made sure it was doing the job that it was supposed to. The gentlemen that came out were professional, courteous, really thorough in explaining things, and followed through with every component. I am so impressed with them. I highly recommend them.
