Glad we made the switch from Permatreat to Pestproof! We were battling wolf spiders like crazy (even after Permatreat had been by to spray). Alex came out and we haven't seen ONE spider, or any bug for that matter, in or around the house since! I even received an email with specific notes Alex had left for us when he finished. We had a squirrel move in to our attic. I knew the squirrel had a hole in the front of our townhome. Eric and his associate got up in the attic and found out the critter was coming down from an entrance by the roof/attic fan. Pest Proof sealed the front where the squirrel created a hole and sealed off the attic fan. This was performed in early February and no critters have been back as of mid-April. I would recommend you get Pest Proof for an estimate and see how knowledgeable they are for yourself.

I was so impressed with the work they completed on my home. I had three entry points where squirrels had access to my attic, a terrible carpenter bee infestation, and my gutters were in major need of repair. They did a total remediation and installed new gutter systems on the front and back of my home as well as removing the squirrels and closing up all entry points. Now I’m awakened by my alarm clock again each morning instead of the footsteps and scratching of squirrels. I’m the president of an HOA in Fairfax, and we switched to Pest Proof last year. We were having issues with rodents and our past company was not servicing our stations as they should have. Pest proof came out the same day I called, took a detailed assesment of the property and provided a reasonable estimate for service for our community. They found and labeled all our boxes, restocked them and placed new boxes where we were missing. Immediately we saw a decrease in rodent activity. I was selling my home and had mice in the attic found during the home inspection. I needed a company that could quickly get rid of the problem but also provide a guarantee to the next homeowner so the sale would go through. Along with getting rid of the mice, the insulation was turned into a litter box and needing replacing. I had to priced several companies around as I found that it wasn't a cheap thing to get done. I had previously used a different service to remove a skunk from under my patio, but when I called back to tell him there was again something living under my patio, he did not return my calls. I tried 3 times; I even spoke to him once and he said he'd be over. He never came. So I went on line & found Pest Proof Pest Management. I called & scheduled a meeting with Eric. He came as scheduled and we discussed what needed to be done. Since it was then Friday, the job was scheduled to begin the following Monday. JR showed up as scheduled and placed a trap in my yard. The next morning I discovered a possum in it! The possum was collected and another trap was set on Tuesday. The trap was empty on Wednesday & Thursday mornings, so on Friday morning Tony came out and sealed the large hole under my patio. He did a fantastic job, using dirt, screening & cement. I am confident NOTHIING will be able to get under my patio again!! Tony was friendly, personable & quite knowledgeable. The price was very reasonable, & I am thrilled with Tony, Eric, Sierra, and everyone else in this company. I highly recommend Pest Proof Pest Management for whatever kind of pests are bugging you!

I have been so impressed by this company; you should absolutely hire these folks. They have handled pest management for me and much more, and their customer service has been exemplary. I have had a fantastic experience with all the people at Pest Proof, but especially with Eric. I initially brought him in to address my need to remove pests from the attic (flying insects and crawling critters) and to replace my insulation. With his knowledge of wildlife management, he quickly showed me the areas that should be addressed to keep critters out of my attic and out of my house -- both in the attic and at ground level. Pest Proof handled all that work, and I am pleased with the results. But they did more. During our conversations, it came up that my home exterior really could use a "facelift" -- the roof, gutters, wood trim, and soffits were all aging and a little shabby. Over the course of my conversations with Eric, I learned that he and his colleagues did this kind of work as well, and I asked him to give me a proposal. Needless to say, his prices were great, beating out those of others from whom I received bids. Still, I would not have chosen Pest Proof if I didn't have a strong confidence in their ability to pull off the job. The proof is in the workmanship, and the Pest Proof crew came through. They did a lot of work for me -- replacing my roof, wrapping my trim in aluminum, and replacing my gutters and soffits. The work was all done skillfully and professionally, and Eric worked to make sure I was satisfied throughout. When minor issues arose (as they will in any big project), he provided prompt customer service to set things right. Two thumbs way up!

From the very first call with the office manager to the final product, Pest Proof was WONDERFUL to work with! During our initial inspection, which was extremely thorough and informative, I learned we had raccoons and squirrels in our attic. I was given options as to how far I wanted to go with the work. In the end, I chose full remediation of the attic which included setting and checking traps, pulling out all old insulation, sanitizing, and blowing in new insulation, patching up all places where pests got in, and setting us up to prevent infestations in the future. The guys were always on time-something I've never experienced with a contractor. Always polite, professional, and kind. I've already recommended them to my in-laws and will continue to point friends, family, and strangers in their direction. Thanks for taking out Dirty Mike and the Boys! (Yes, we named our disgusting raccoons).
