John O'Donnell (and trainee Devin) came by today to treat my condo. John was here six months ago, and I have not seen ANY ROACHES AT ALL in most of the past month. I had a HORRIBLE infestation, before, with roaches in every room, and with Moxie, I'm down to zero roaches, which is pretty amazing considering the clutter have here (borderline hoarder?). Anyway, John has done well here, and Devin seems really nice, too. The "IGR" things ("birth control") have been very effective. Today they had a "safe for pets" spray (I have a parrot and a cat) that John says will do the same thing. And they gave me a bunch of glue boards, which was nice.

I’ve been using this service since November of 2018 it is now July of 2019 and we still have issues. When techs come for maintence they spray outside not inside, the bate boxes do absolutely nothing for mice, and the ants in our basement are still there. I’ve spoke about cancelling my service and was told after my last free appointment they’d cancel my service. They didn’t. So I’ve been charged repeatedly for appointments that are doing absolutely nothing. If you have mice or ants. It’s highly unlikely they will be able to help you.

I left ProTect because I was tried of them sending technicians to my townhome to treat my tiny front and back yards without any warning. And when I left Protect for Moxie, I was initially pleased with the serviced provided by Moxie. The techs were always knowledgable and polite, I didn't have any pest problems, and most importantly, they never sent a tech to my home without my knowledge and consent. That's all changed now. For the past year or two, Moxie has regularly sent technicians to my SFH without any warning. Including an incident earlier this year when a Moxie tech showed up at my doorstep when I was in the middle of removing and installing a new dishwasher. I've called and complained, and every time they've assured me they'll always set up at appointment with me before sending a tech and every time they fail. They put the blame on me "we called you three times to schedule an appointment". But calling me three times to schedule an appointment is not the same thing as making an appointment, is it? When I complained to one of the tech spraying my house, he admitted that several times at day he's greeted with blank stares from people who never scheduled an appointment for that day. When he approached his management with this issue, he says he was told "the customer was informed we were coming" and drops the issue. He also admitted there was a lot of pressure to fill out routes for the tech to maximum their time. Which I understand from a business sense but I'm really sick of Moxie sending techs to my home without letting me know first (especially given how many times I've complained). And to make matters worse, they text my phone and ask me to complete a satisfaction survey for a service I never scheduled! Now I have to call back, reschedule for them to treat to the inside of my house as well!

This company is a fraud I was told they will charge me once every three months But they charge my account in July 2019 and again on August. Another thing I was told I can cancel anytime so when I tried to cancel I was told that I was on a contract for one year which is a lie. if any one else Experience the same issue I suggest they cancel their credit card And get a new one and dispute any amount they charge without permission. By the way the reason I canceled because I used to see lots of spiders outside of the house so when they came in and spray around my house I’ve seen a tremendous amounts of spiders inside my house their service is very suck.

I pay a flat fee each quarter, the office calls me a day ahead to give me the time for when to expect the tech. Each tech has been courteous, listens to my needs, and takes care if pests inside and out. After 6 months the mice and ants have not come back. Use Moxie because they sre good.

This was a fantastic company when they first started. I have been with them almost from the start but between paying much more than local companies in Stafford offer comparable services for, and having them show up randomly despite my specific instructions not to do so without my say so (because I have farm animals that need contained so they can access the fenced in area of my property) and them not always treating everywhere if someone is not home, things have gone downhill. I am not happy that basically I agreed to pay monthly for a quarterly service after I was talked into doing so for a "lower price" and I will be changing companies as soon as my contract is up.

Jay was I have to say my favorite Tech, he really impressed me with his knowledge, his professionalism and his kindness. I will keep moxie because of Jay, even though the price is a little higher than I’d like, the thorough work by this technician shows me I’m investing in the right pest control company BRAVO JAY!

Very unhappy with service received from Moxie. I had a termite inspection performed by Moxie. Before the inspection was completed the inspector was trying to sell me a termite prevention package. Because I had a lack of confidence with Moxie, I called another company. The inspector from this firm found the same issues and more. He was a great deal more detail oriented. Because of my dissatisfaction, I decided to cancel my contract with Moxie . I called an left a message for the customer service representative to cancel my contract. More than a week later the customer service rep called and tried to convince me to retain Moxie. When I asked about the delay in responding, She said she had texted and left VM, however we had no VMs and no texts. She finally said if we terminated the contract we would be charged the $140.00 discount that we received when we opened the account. We will gladly pay the $140.00 to be rid of a firm that provides such poor service and strong arm tactics

The service technicians are great...the office workers are not. I called to cancel my Moxie service over two months ago because I found a pest control company (Aptive) that was more affordable. A few days ago I get a text that Moxie serviced my home. I called Moxie and was told that they had no record of me canceling my service. I was further told that regardless, I had to pay since they put product down at my home. Pretty ticked off that I have to pay for a Moxie employees incompetence. I typically switch pest control companies every 2-3 years but this company will never be part of that rotation again.

He offered to just leave the tag on the door since he saw we had our hands full with our daughter and went to work. He covered the property and made efficient work with his time.
