Very responsive, professional, and courteous! I had an emergency with my pet during the time they were to arrive yesterday. They waited 20 minutes, but since I missed them, I received a text from the company letting me know they were there and did the exterior. They also texted that they hoped my kitty was OK. Later the same day, one of the employees showed up to see if I was home so he could complete the interior. He explained that he was in the area and received word from his boss to try me again in case I was home. The guy couldn't have been nicer, and he thoroughly treated every room. I recommend them highly!

I was not aware a moxie appointment was scheduled today. I do not know what was done on my property and still had to pay for the service. For the price we pay, they should do the interior of the house as well. What was done outside is now washed away from the rain. I believe it did not have time to settle. Moxie came out again today 10/22/19 and they serviced my exterior. He said he did a through check on the cracks and crevices. After checking my cameras, there wasn’t even a crack and crevice check at all. He was supposed to do the interior of the house, but he put the receipt on the door and left. No knock or ring of the bell. My wife was downstairs while he was in the back yard and the door does not have blinds so he saw her inside unless he was spraying with his eyes closed.

I have gone out of my way to post a polite ‘No soliciting’ right at the front door. Twice now their salesperson has blatantly ignored it and then looked shocked when confronted about it and why they ignored it. The first one wanted to get nasty about it - told him in no uncertain terms to get off my property or I was calling the police - he still left with nasty words. Not a chance I would ever do business with this company because of this. The second guy stopped tonight and when I directed him to the the sign and told him we were not interested, he politely,turned and left. Very seriously,considering calling our City Office and reporting the company for ignoring the clearly posted sign. Additional information- the nasty rep incident occurred last fall. Was the first time I had seen Moxie in our Manassas neighborhood. More than likely this sales rep got himself fired by now. As I indicated the young man who came by yesterday was polite and personable. Just needed to respect the indication that we don’t want cold calls.

a sales person for moxie pest control came to my home and had me sign a contract on ipad. then he mailed me a different contract with different prices. moxie pest control started charging my credit card with these prices. i signed for (69 initial treatment and 99 quarterly) the "contract" emailed to me is different ( it has $99 initial treatment and $159 quarterly). salesperson did not give me a copy of contract when I signed on the IPAD. I called the main office of moxie pest control and they are demanding the higher prices listed in the copy of "contract" that was emailed me.

Canceling the service is a nightmare! After not seeing any results for two quarterly maintenances, I requested cancelling the service - even agreeing to the significant cancellation fee. The representative assured me they could take care of any concerns I had through their quality control program. Scheduling was a pain - four hour windows where I would be home. When they arrived, they dropped off some sticky boxes and left without spraying the interior. Then, they scheduled and charged me for the third maintenance - even when I responded not to come because I had cancelled. After multiple messages and a 20 minute phone call, they agreed they could honor the contract and close out my account. Really? No results. Not customer focused.

This terrible business sends teenage solicitors to our neighborhood once a month at least. I've tried being polite. I work from home so it's especially aggravating when I have to leave a meeting to tell a kid "no". I will never use this company for any service they offer. Please do not support this business. It would be great if your door to door salesmen could respect 'no solicitor 'signs and not argue with potential customers when they point the sign out. Not great advertising for your business. Update: This same rep has been all over our neighborhood bothering people, coming back to houses multiple times and ringing doorbells till literally 10 at night for the last two days. Very poor form from a company, and there's a big neighborhood where Moxie's reputation is shot. Unless somebody stole a Moxie shirt and has gone rogue, this is a problem.

Moxie comes to do treat my elderly grandmothers home. They consistently scam her out of her money. I watched firsthand while the tech did her treatment. The tech sprayed aimlessly in the front and when he walked around the back I watched out the window, he did not know I was home and walked around in the back doing nothing. I told my grandma to ask if he had done the back to see if he would lie and he did. He then charged her close to 70 dollars for spraying one line in the front and walking around the back.

I had to use Moxie Pest Control a few years ago for a pesty ant issue and I will admit Im not the best with names but I think Sara Headrick Vavra was her name waived my quarterly service charge she said that she did that because one of her employees that worked in something called customer care and was the BEST CUSTOMER CARE agent she had ever had had another perfect day and just like that she waived my balance. How could I argue with that offer.

Update. Although the initial visit was fantastic, Moxie didn’t follow through with the great service. I’ve paid them $800 for two visits and a cancellation fee and still have mice and ticks. (Even though I have a guarantee that they will be gone). Avoid Moxie. It’s not worth the trouble and cost. Initial visit was great. Fernando, Isaac, and Saul made a good team. They took them time to listen to my concerns and make a plan to resolve them. Thanks guys!

A Moxie rep came to my door offering his services because he was “in the neighborhood” and WOULD NOT LEAVE. He made me feel very uncomfortable as a single woman who was clearly home alone, and got aggressive when I told him I wasn’t interested and wouldn’t let me close my door. While I was trying to get him to leave, my indoor cat got out and he was still trying to sell their services to me as I was chasing her across the lawn. I would never retain services of a company that makes me feel so uncomfortable - I will be calling the police if they come to my house again.

I have a NO SOLICITING sign on my door... The doorbell rings. The Rep says "I see your no soliciting sign, but I am working with your neighbors x and y and it is the end of the season and the cost is really low" I tell him, I am not interested and he must have thought I said "tell me more" because he leans in and starts to show me his iPad screen as If he didn't hear me. I then proceed to tell him "I specifically went to the store to buy the No Soliciting sign, and invested the time to put it on my door" "It means NO SOLICITING??" "What you are doing is disrespectful". He then finally left. Get a clue People..

He stopped my our house twice yesterday and wouldn't leave, even when i told him i was under contract with another provide and would not be cancelling with them. Moxie's customer service is great. Got a text to remind me that they'd be coming to do their quarterly service. I'd been having trouble with ants and called to inform them I needed a indoor treatment. I had to dial one prompt and immediately spoke with a representative. I didn't have to provide a bunch of information because they already knew who I was from my phone number. The rep informed the technician and told me i'd be getting a text a half hour out from their arrival. The tech arrived within that window. He was informative, courteous and professional. Very satisfied with this company and their service. I've been using their services since 2014. Highly recommended.

I know this company gets decent reviews, but I am fed up of them knocking on my door. 4th time this summer.... They drop young sales reps off in a neighborhood, then have them canvas door to door. The last guy who came was waiting for his ride back on the grass at the edge of our property for over an hour in the scorching heat. The reps are very polite, but I don't think this form of canvasing for sales is appropriate. Just my 2 cents...

However when the technician came out, he missed completely dewebbing the house and also lied about treating my back yard and back deck as requested when I spoke with the salesman. I did call them to come back and he did comeback however he still didn’t spray the backyard as he stated he did. He also stated when he came back the second time that he is only human and will make mistakes as he has 20 houses a day to treat. SO PERSISTENT! I’m Greenbriar every week, our community/ neighborhood page has multiple reports of the reps coming over late (past 7 pm) being persistent, not respecting no solicitor signs and standing outside for 15+ minutes after being asked to leave or being told that their services aren’t wanted there. I've only been using Moxie for a short time, but I do have some concerns: 1) while the sales team fosters confidence the "professionals" that perform services seem to have just graduated high school. How much experience can they really have? 2) I've already experienced them trying to upsell me on termite inspection and treatment services. I foolishly did not ask whether there was a charge for the termite inspection - there is. These pest and lawn services seem designed to separate the homeowners from their money. "If you can afford a house you can afford to protect or beautify it"... not exactly. Everything is getting more expensive daily and everybody has a hand out.

When I called in on Friday to reopen our account someone told me that an acct mgr would call me on Monday. They followed through on that. We had a wonderful staff member named Shane stopped by the house. He treated inside and outside the home. He asked what specifically may be bother us on each floor. only regret is not getting them sooner. Only had one service but took care of several immediate needs like spider weds and ground bees that had become a concern recently coming through windows! (Yuck!) Excellent customer service and professional. Also gave a considerable discount (-$150) on the first service and also a $30 credit to the family that referred me. After chatting with a rep over the phone and getting a quote, I decided to start and two guys came out the very next day. They explained everything thoroughly and actually killed a bunch of ground bees that had recently starting becoming a concern in my windows. I appreciated how thorough they are and explained everything and Made plenty of time to allow for my questions. They also will come out anytime in between quarterly services for free if you need them to. Highly recommend!

Annoying and persistent Salesforce. I had to say no 4 times and ended up shutting the door. Many reports by my neighbors saying the same thing. Our neighborhood has no solicitor signs everywhere. Consumer Reports user ratings are 1.5 I couldn't ever work with a company that employs these methods. If word of mouth isn't working for you there's a good reason.

Unfortunately my experience has been awful. I have used them for one year and am finding it impossible to cancel my contract. Every time I call I am told my rep is unavailable or the team is in meetings. I have not received a return call despite my many attempts over several months. The technicians were all very polite and courteous but didn’t do the service I requested and put treatments in my yard that we specifically requested not be applied. Every time I call they are super polite but either completely inept or purposely dishonest. I have now been on hold this morning for over 30 minutes and still have not canceled my service.

I think they are a reasonably good company for the service they provide. Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with them mostly around scheduling. Twice, I had to reschedule the appointment: once, because the technician came home before his appointed time and then left unannounced once I rushed home to meet him. The other time they cancelled a few hours before the appointment. This was for a termite inspection indoors. They do the outside without requiring you to be there but I did not have a chance to ever observe this happening. I am particularly disappointed because when the door salesman signed me up for the service, he promised that the service will be scheduled based on my preference including scheduling on Saturday. To my surprise a few months into my contract they said that they don’t work on weekends. Again not a judgment of the service they actually provide (for me this was all preventative - I did not have a pest problem before, during or after the service) but more around their customer servicing / usability experience. I guess I expect better in this new age of customer where new age companies work to provide better transparency around schedules and servicing. I have low tolerance for companies that can’t keep up with the times.

Worst service. I contracted one year service but canceled today. I just got last service yesterday. But I didn’t get the any notice for the time when they will arrive and just send me a short text that They completed the service while I’m not at home. I just saw the one dead beetle outside of my house. They charged me $140 cancellation fee. Don’t waste your money for moxie.

After telling a sales rep that we were not interested on 7/24/19, another sales rep showed up today on 7/31/9 a week later anyway. After my fiance told the second sales rep that we were not interested, he continued to insist that she sign up, over and over. For about 5 or 10 minutes. This is unacceptable. No means no. It does not mean continue stand on my doorstep and pressure me into buying a service I'm not interested in. It only gets worse from there. The sales rep came back once I got home from work (after already being told no) and rang the doorbell and knocked on the door again while we're trying to have dinner. He came to our house a total of 3 or 4 times this evening, with the last time being around 9PM. How can you think this is acceptable? It's incredibly rude and borderline harassment. It is 2019. It is incredibly easy to advertise your services online and elsewhere without harassing people and attempting to pressure them into buying something. I have no idea whether the service you guys offer is good or not, but at this point I do not care and it couldn't be less relevant. This aggressive door-to-door sales tactic is only going to help you lose potential customers and begin to tarnish your reputation in the process.

Salesman, Caleb, could not have been more pleasant or knowledgeable about the services Moxie provides. We had a contract with Terminix and after they did not show up for a scheduled visit and did not call, we canceled and have signes on with Moxie. They were here for the first service call the very next day and did a thorough job! Very pleased!!

Very easy to set up or change service times. In emergency they come out pretty quick (same or next day). Techs are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been a customer of Moxie for more than 7 years. Last week I found one of their technicians peeing on my pine tree around the time kids walk to school. I was able to see him from the street. I asked the guy why he did not ask to use the restroom and he did not have a response for me and then I asked him to leave my property. Disgusting! I have called the office twice already and they have not taken any actions to get the situation resolved. First time, I spoke with Megan and she offered a lot of solutions and was very apologetic. However, she never called again. The second time I called, they were going to rely the message to Megan and have her call me back which she never did. The quarterly service was not completed and Moxie has not contacted me to come up with a solution to complete the service, clean up the mess and make sure my pine tree does not die. I am very upset at this technician and the way Moxie has handled this. Awful experience!

He interrupted a very important conference call and then when I tried to politely tell him no and I am busy, he would not shut up, so I had to shut the door in his face. Reliable, friendly, knowledge We've had Moxie pest control for more than 5 or 6 years I think They are always great at answering questions and even treat my mailbox even though it's not required. I like that they will come out to retreat anytime and they are able to deal with hornets, mice and other creatures that aren't bugs.
