I have been a “Loyal” customer for over 10 years! The service men & women are polite & on time! They don’t attempt to sell me additional services by using scare tactics (which other firms have). Last winter, my one year old standard poodle,Scarlett,grabbed a bug trap deep inside a kitchen cabinet. I had left the door open. I didn’t notice until I heard her chewing. Called the vets, animal poison control, and Loyal at five o’clock in the afternoon. I was able to rescue the trap before it was totally demolished. The manager at Loyal kept in touch (He also contacted the animal poison control people while I was driving)and assisted me in figuring out if it was a roach or ant trap. Luckily, it was an “ant” trap and my dog did not require any long term treatment . The manager also contacted me the next day to see if Scarlett was doing well! Evidently, my dog is able to smell the “ant bait” and decided it would make a nice snack. She has since swallowed 4 pairs of “baby” socks which required another trip to the vets!

Prior to it's renovation, our 100 year old house had fallen into disrepair and had been infested with termites. The home was was stripped down to it's studs, all structural damage fixed, moisture intrusion issues were addressed and the termite issue was mitigated. Naturally, we still have some concerns about termites returning which are exacerbated by the fact that our crawlspace is VERY difficult to access. We wanted some peace of mind that the previous termite inspection so we called Loyal Pest Control. After multiple contractors and inspectors had declined to go down in our crawl space to inspect, we thought we might be out of luck. This was not the case. An inspector named Marcus came out to our house and was able to get under our crawl space and get his eyes on the structural members of the home. Fortunately, Marcus found no evidence that termites had returned. Being the nervous new homeowners we are, Marcus could have easily talked us into buying a very expensive preventative solution, but gave his honest opinion that the previous treatment seems to have worked well and that the most prudent path forward would probably be to just have an annual inspection. Marcus's honesty was greatly appreciated. There is a reason these guys have such high ratings. They are true pros. We will be using them for all future inspections and in the event that any unwanted pests return.

When we bought our house, our termite bond was with Loyal. When it was apparent that we also needed to call in the professionals for regular pest treatments (these northerners aren’t used to the year-round bug bonanza that the south has!), we decided to give Loyal’s regular pest services a try. They come out quarterly to do the outside, and will do the inside if we think we need it. The technicians are always kind, professional, and wear little booties when they are inside (I’m amazed more businesses don’t do this as a matter of course). They usually send the same person, which is nice because he remembers where we don’t want him to spray (where we have a food garden), even when we’re not home for the scheduled service day. Oh, and when you’re on the quarterly plan, and say you have an issue popping up, they’ll come out free of charge to treat that issue, even if it’s not on their normal scheduled time to come. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for pest control in the area!

Well, as a general rule I find these advertisements to be misleading. Those commercials represent a level of service that is rarely delivered. That being said, I’m happy to say that Loyal is the outlier. Our technician is prompt, polite and extremely professional. He takes great care with all members of our family, especially our dogs when performing services. I contacted loyal Termite & Pest Control to do a termite inspection at my rental property Richmond Virginia. The inspector told me he would contact me if he found termites. Since I did not hear from him I assumed that did not have termites. A couple weeks after the inspection I contacted them only to find out I had termites. The account manager told me that the inspector tried to call me multiple times. There was no record of any calls from Loyal Termite & Pest Control on my cellphone. He did not tell me the truth. Because of timing, I decided to give them a second chance and contracted them to do the termite treatment at my rental property. No one from Loyal Termite & Pest Control called to tell me the termite treatment have been completed. They knew my rental property was vacant and the importance of contacting me when work was done. When I express my concerns to a young lady at the office she stated, "We don't call customers after we complete termite treatment. That is not what we do!" She got an attitude with me. Loyal Termite & Pest Control has poor customer service and were not receptive to my concerns.

Service wise, they are amazing. I shopped around when I found out I had termites and they had the best price and comprehensive warranty. The techs are professional and thorough and they don't spend all day setting up, they get straight to work. They use termidor, which is the state of the art product and for my case they drilled it into the foundation and sprayed foam behind the walls. That said, I would highly recommend getting the warranty. I usually don't get it but I did this time and sure enough I have had them back out to the house to deal with a second swarm about a year after the first one. This is because the colony I had to deal with was already well established. Anyway the warranty had already paid for itself so just don't cheap out. The ONLY reason I am taking a star off is that there is no weekend emergency line. I feel like warranty holders should be able to get placed on the schedule on the weekend as you never know when new infestations will happen. In our case the second swarm happened on a Sunday and we kind of had no way to plan what would happen on Monday i.e. who would stay home and let them it at what time. That said I called them when they opened and they were able to come at 10 am so it was still really fast service to get everything done. Overall I would definitely recommend them to deal with the stressful issue of pest control.

Loyal has gone downhill in the last few years. The servicing agent used to call to see if you wanted inside service and what would work best for you. Now they just send a text or an email and you have to call them. Not convenient, no longer personal.
