I set up service at my address with a door to door sales rep. No one showed up at my address when scheduled. I contacted the office and they couldn’t even find my info, they did however resolve the issue and had a technician come out in May. The technician was fabulous and this review is in no way directed toward him. In June we unexpectedly had to move out of the home due to water issues in the house. I contacted insight to cancel my service and was advised this would be done. The home has been uninhabitable and it is clear this address is abandoned. On September 19th insight charged my account for a quarterly service. Their office is not open on the weekends so I contacted them today to have them refund my money and make sure this service is canceled. They then advised there is a cancellation fee for early termination, none of which I was told when I set the service up! Upon setting up the service the door to door rep actually advised me I could cancel anytime but if I didn’t my service would auto renew every quarter. At this time I am still waiting to hear back to see if they will be refunding me for the quarterly service that they charged my account after being told to cancel my service. I am highly disappointed and it appears insight does not train their door to door reps and office representatives adequately as I am getting new info with each employee I speak with. It is my hope they resolve this matter timely and if so I will change my review!

I decided to switch from Terminix because I was not satisified with how they were treating the ants around the outside of my home. I lucked out and had both Jonathan and Tanner show up at my house to complete the service. They started out on the right foot by arriving only a few minutes into the time frame that I was quoted for service and worked through the service of my home very effectively and efficiently. Jonathan came inside and explained what he was going to do in the home, why and how. All the while he was very nice, he even smiled and joked around with my two young children when he entered the house. I should also note that Jonathan was dressed appropriately and wore shoe covers when he entered the home to protect my carpets. Meanwhile, Tanner handled all of outdoor work and the inside of the garage. So far I am very pleased and hope their product continues to keep the pests out of and away from my home.

We've been using this company for just under a year and are very happy with them. The technicians are really friendly and the customer service is excellent. We have definitely noticed a decrease in bugs since they have been spraying, and even though we did have one invasion of indoor ants of the summer, they came right out and got rid of them for no cost. Our Insight Rep (Malcom Ellis) was very nice and friendly when I greeted him at the door. He explained and went through everything he is going to do to the home. He was very careful not to damage anything that had to be moved to perform the service. I had a great experience with the whole process.

Avoid this company. Terrible customer service and treatment. They don’t put the customer service and only do things at their convenience. They overcharge you and it’s all a rip off. I should of stayed with Frontline and I plan on canceling services with Insight.

If I could give zero stars I would. The technician who came out was late to our appointment and then said he was in a rush to get to the next appointment and we had to reschedule. When I called to complain about this the person I spoke with was Shawn. He was equally rude and unprofessional. I spoke with a manager who rescheduled my appointment for the next day. The technician did not show up again on the time slot they gave me and I spoke with Brittany over the phone who was equally rude. I wish these people had better customer service and its unfortunate I'm stuck in a contract with them I cannot cancel. Be weary of this company. They come around door to door promising results and not only is the customer service very bad but the fact that I still have pests shows their materials are sub par. I'd rather have spiders than deal with their very poor customer service.

Although I have a few acres of land, I know that my land could not possibly be bug/insect free, but Insight does a great job keeping them to as minimum as possible. Also, I want to personally thank Joshua, he came out to spray on 23 September 2017, was very professional and very detailed in answering the few questions that I had.

After reporting to the complain I no longer needed their services through my credit card company.They continued I guess because I never knew they came to the house. I paid the August bill reluctantly and they charged me a 52 dollar collection fee. I called and expressed my dissatisfaction and women tried to tell me she doesn’t have anything to do with the collection company. I intend to report them To the better business bureau as well

I had Insight Pest Control for 4 years at my house in Stafford. In the process of selling my house and needed a termite inspection which is advertised a free on every invoice I've paid for the last 4 years. Finally told, they had transferred my account to Terminex and to call them for the inspection. Instead of a free inspection, I'm now forced to pay $125. There was never any notice that Insight was no longer servicing my house and they just completed the quarterly treatment. I call that horrible customer service. Look elsewhere if you are considering this company.

DO NOT HIRE. Any 5 star reviews were probably made within one month of this company getting your business. After that, the quality of work declines rapidly and the customer service is basically non-existant. We’ve had a massive ant infestation for weeks now and the last person who treated simply said “yea ants are hard to get rid of” as he continued his normal routine and drove away. After getting the run around from customer service over the last week, I was finally able to cancel. My guess is at least 6 transfers and a cumulative hour and a half on hold just to cancel the account. It sickens me to know companies like this are able to stay in business. Do not be fooled. Do not hire.

Both of their techs, Alex and Makayla, were on schedule, explained the complete process in detail, answer all of my questions and concerns and thoroughly applied treatments. Looking forward to follow up treatments, although my home does not have any serious pest issues, it's more preventative treatments at this point. I highly recommend this company !!!

Completely inefficient, my bug problem got worse after the first treatment, but they said it was normal and that the second treatment will get rid of whatever was left. Well it did not. As a matter of fact, it made things worse. I called and they said that they will send the technician back for a re-treatment, but did not notice if he did come back. By the third treatment and no result, called and cancelled the service, bought the Ortho Max and my problem got solved . Even though I cancelled last October, and therefore did not get the visit on January as it was settle, today they tried to service our house.

Do NOT hire this company for pest control -- they are completely unethical and should be ashamed of themselves! We signed up for their service through a door to door sales rep. He said the pest control solution is 100% solid and will fix our ant infestation. It was all lies! Their pest control solution did NOT work, it had zero effect! I ended up emailing their customer service department to cancel our year subscription, I then received an email reply, which stated a rep would contact me to discuss further. I never received a follow up call per their email! I then called their customer service department a week after this incident, and the guy who answered was extremely rude, he hung up the phone on me after I expressed my concern! Fast forward several weeks, I'm now receiving notices from their billing department to pay them...uh, you all clearly lack professionalism and communication. Save yourself the headache and do not deal with this company!

This is our first year at our new home and the ants here are ridiculous, and the ticks even with treatment bug spray were still getting people at my house! After getting a few quotes from a few different companies we decided to go with insight because their price was the best.They don't treat for as many pests as other companies do, but they treat for all the ones that we have issues with at our house. The techs who came out walked my SO through the whole process, and when I arrived home towards the end of the initial treatment they took the time to explain it all over again to me and told me how long it would take for the pests to disappear as well as what to expect on each additional visit from them. I am so far pleased with their service and will be referring them to friends/family in the future.

Do NOT do service with this company. They claim that they kill pests at the source, but all they do it spray pesticide around your house, which you can buy yourself for 1/5 the price, except the stuff you buy will be more effective. After they give you the $50 sign up deal, you have to pay $170+ to cancel after you realize you don't need or want their service anymore, and I guarantee you will not want it anymore. They try to take advantage of new-home-owners because they know you don't know any better. If you use this company, I think you will regret it because I sure do. EDIT: They are most likely paying for people to give them 5 star ratings. The response that was given to the above statement does not address the issue.

Obviously I signed up for 5!. I told their sales man not to put me on subscription but he did. This is a fraudulent company. Do not fall in to their trap.

Had terrible wasp problem. Insight sprayed the gutters for me and took care of the problem. They always show up when promised and if I am home check to see if there are any particular problems to resolve. I like that I usually have the same technician each time. So far I have been completely satisfied.

I'm not satisfied with the quality of service of this company. First of all, there is a cancellation fee when you sign a contract that I was unaware of. So if you don't like the service after a first visit (that's what happened to me) you loose money anyway. Second, the service by itself was incomplete and unprofessional. The technician's work wasn't thorough. He didn't treat the bedroom where I specifically told him I saw ants. Later I could still see spiders and ants crawling all over my house and garage as usual. Also he damaged my rock garden outside misplacing rocks and stepping on the flowers. Moreover, he installed snake/mouse traps I didn't ask for and as a result we're were witnessing of a gruesome view of a harmless lizard slowly dying tightly glued to the trap. Overall I do not recommend Insight Pest Solutions.

I would recommend you don't do business with this company. They provide horrible customer service. Don't show up to scheduled appointments, won't let you speak with a supervisor when you call, keep you on hold and never return . Upon calling back you have to repeatedly give all your personal information again and state the reason for calling. Supposedly there is a supervisor named Tiffany, but she is never available. I actually have more spiders and webs than when I used the Home Depot solution! I guess it's what I get for not checking the rating and reviews when the salesman came to our door. Desiree

We signed for Comprehensive Residential Treatment service ,after pest treatment we are still seeing flying mosquitos,ants roaming around in my basement and kitchen area. I tried to call the customer service and after getting redirecting to four different customer service personnels I am still on hold. Finally I got lucky as my call was answered by Carleton and she told me that she is leaving for vacation. So she will send an email with the contact person name, who will be give me a call on Thursday to resolve this pest mistreatment issue. Sorry to inform you, I have not yet received any email from Carleton or Insight. Regarding treatment I am not very optimistic as 15 minutes of spray in air and spreading something using seed spreader. The sales guy told me that they are going to take care of all mosquitos, ants, rodent, mice, bed bugs, Nile Bites, Cockroaches and what not. I don't think a random spray will kill the mosquitos, ants, spider and mice Update: We got a re-treatment inside and outside the house on June 17th - thanks for that After giving enough time to see the outcome, here is the situation on July 12: - Still we have Mosquitos in basement area and they are very visible as I work here :) - Some Mosquitos and even flies are roaming around in the kitchen area - Deck area is also filled with Mosquitoes as it was observed during deck cleaning

I spent a year with another pest company and felt like they were always in and out quicker than it took to drive to my location. So when my bell rang and it was Insight, i figure i would give them a chance to impress me. Right now, the initial service took an hour and it was nice to see them clean everything (dust all the outside eaves and my canopy, garage door area as well. The last company never did that. It was a pleasure to have Alex, Makayla and David do what was promised. Thank you!

really poor service was told multiple times they would come out and treat for spiders and then when the guy came out all he said he would do is remove cobwebs. Had the most bugs i have had since switching over to them and their customer service is just as horrendous. Whenever i called i would be greated nicely and then i tried to cancel membership twice and immediately when i said it it was a totally 180 and they became extremely rude. Last girl told me she was gonna cancel my membership then she said she put it on hold and i said no i want it gone and she said she doesn't do that and an account specialist would have to cancel it so then i asked for an email stating i would no longer get charged and she told me they don't do that and when i asked to speak to a manager she said there are no managers. After waiting for 30 minutes i was then promised an email and never got one. I called back again today asking for the email and the guy said someone would call me back and guess what no one called. Don't waste your time with this company usually you can get just as good pricing or better at competitors who actually care for their customers!

A young man came through our neighborhood several months ago selling pest services that included treatment for voles, which is destroying our lawn, so we signed immediately. The first treatment did not include this service, so when the man came for the second treatment, he promised to treat for them. I found out he never did the service because we were not billed for it. When I called in this morning, I cannot talk with someone at the company, I can only talk to the gatekeeper who sets up appointments. She told me the reason no treatment was done is because "Insight is not licensed to treat for voles in your area". Really? Hoping the issue is that the young man representing the company was not informed, not that the company misleads people. Can't even rate them 1 star even though I have to give them one or I cannot post.

Fellow Consumers: Warning. This is an unprofessional, con of a pest control company. As a new customer, I had Insight Pest Solutions come out to my home due to ant infestation. Two weeks since their treatment, the ant colony is back. Seems their treatment did not last beyond the first rain fall. I was told by the field tech that they would come back within 30 days if the ants reappeared. However, the phone tech stated they will consider a return trip as my second to-be-paid treatment...not a free return. I smartly did not use a credit card to ensure no automatic charging of my credit card. Buyer beware when considering Insight Pest Solutions. Upon the advice of my lawyer-neighbor, I am hiring another pest control company to treat my home and assess the work performed by Insight. If I could substantiate Insight's poor performance, I will begin a legal proceeding against Insight. Stay tuned.

Insight does not listen to their customers. Twice I had asked to have the appointment moved to another day so that the tech could do an indoor treatment. Both times the request was disregarded and the tech came and treated the outside on a day when I was not home to have the indoor area treated. Because of this I cancelled and the tech was sent again, did the treatment and now I am being asked to pay for the service plus "initial discount". In each case I called but apparently no one listened to my message.

So far we are pretty upset with this company. The first time out they came at 8:00 pm which does not work for 2 elderly people. As they did not finish the job, we were told someone would be out Saturday at 10:00 am. We waited most of the day, no show and no call. When we called them we were told they would have someone call us and that never happened either. This is certainly not the way to do business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They came knocking door to door and promised the world, I signed a contract for Insight to come by and service the inside and outside of my house. I saw insight 1 time for service and never saw them again but yet I was billed several times with phony charges throughout the year. It seems that this happened to several of the houses in my neighborhood and now the charges that I have refused to pay are in collections. Luckily I have a family member as a lawyer and I am disputing this but don't go through what I went through. Go with a reputable company that does not send college kids to your door to promise the world but deliver dirt.
