I contacted HR Termite & Pest for an ant and flea treatment for my home. When I scheduled the appointment I verbally committed to a one year contract with them. The gentleman that came out to my home this morning, Paul, was SO incredibly nice and knowledgeable! After explaining my situation and having him take a look he was completely honest with me that our home probably didn't really need the treatment. Although this meant not getting my business immediately today I can guarantee that this one interaction will make me a faithful HR Termite & Pest customer for life! It is so rare nowadays to find a company that will look out for your best interest instead of the easiest way to make a dollar! THANK YOU PAUL!!

Horrible customer service. They constantly lied to me( the buyer), the sellers and my real estate agent. They chearged us for opening up the wall, said there was no damage and that they were going to have to close the wall. Welcome to find out, they did not open the wall. they claimed the wall is still open, which its obviously not. And when we finally opened the wall to take off the paneling, there is termite damage. We have encountered nothing but lies from all parties at the company. Their employees are down right rude. I would stay clear of them if at all possible.

I used to be with the Term***** company. Enough said since that's bad / past history. Money wasted there. So much more value in working with a locally owned and responsible company with great staff. I started with them recently when selling my home and they did great cost effective repairs to make sure our closing went smooth. Now I have them on my new house and rental properties and they are fantastic. Easy to reach, continuity of employees so they get to know your house and issues and their prices are very competitive. You can even reach the owner if you had to. Try doing that with a national chain.... They even have mosquito control options so we can enjoy sitting outside after work again!!!

We used Hampton Roads Termite for our termite/moisture inspection when selling our home. Their inspections were very thorough; we had a second opinion from another company and they discovered the exact same issues and recommended the same repairs. In addition to the inspection, we ended up having Hampton Roads Termite perform the repairs because of the reputation they have around the area for quality workmanship. We did have a few hiccups with the repairs, but in the end everything was handled in a complete, professional manner. I've been burned by other contractors in the past for other work, but I'm happy to say that they are more than willing to do the right thing to make sure the customer is satisfied in the end. Pete was a pleasure to work with and look forward to working with them again if we need any work in our new home's crawlspace going forward. There is a reason they have a great reputation in the Hampton Roads region. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a termite inspection and/or termite/moisture related repairs.
