If there was any way to give Green Akers more than five stars, I would! You will not find a more diligent, thorough, and caring pest control professional. He truly wants to help people with their pest problems, and is even willing to answer questions for folks that live out of state. He is patient and committed to finding the right solution to whatever issue you may have. Unfortunately, we no longer live in Virginia, and much to our dismay, have not been able to find anyone close to the caliber of Jason Akers. Rest assured, if we were in his service area we would never think of using anyone else!

I live in public housing and kept getting bed bugs back like a week after the treatments wich included backbreaking, time consuming,expensive prep each time. Pest Control is a marathon. We moved into our house out by the Blue Ridge Parkway in Amherst Co. a little over a year ago. The house had been vacant for many month. Bugs everywhere! Wasps, ants, centipedes, spiders, things I have know idea what they were. Called Jason and saw immediate results. We vacuumed every morning to pickup the remains of the brave souls that dared to cross the barrier Jason laid down. Month after month through the spring and summer we would see fewer and fewer “brave souls”. Finally cool weather of fall and winter cold, nature gives us a reprieve. The problem is bugs may have slowed down but they still preferred my warm house to my cold yard. Jason kept coming and the bug kept dying. Spring arrived and now summer; the invasion we experienced last year has just not happened. An occasional spider, no wasps, no ants, no invasion. Here is the bottom line. Bugs are always going to be here, we live in Central Virginia. If you want a fighting chance to keep them at bay you need to systematically treat monthly. Jason Akers provides a reasonably priced extremely effective monthly service. If you want it done right it has to be consistent. I don’t think you will find anyone to give you better service.

My residence recently incurred a very serious bedbug infestation. I consulted a variety of websites and material, began utilizing traditional techniques including drying laundry, utilizing heat treatments on various household items, using mattress encasements and bedbug traps, all to no avail. I contacted Jason, the owner of Green Akers Pest control after stumbling across the company’s YouTube channel. Jason spoke with me by phone on numerous occasions at length without complaint, freely providing advice and sharing his knowledge about effective pesticides and their appropriate use while listening and addressing issues and concerns specific to my residence, all at no charge. I was able to eliminate my bedbug infestation by following his advice with the pesticide while simultaneously continuing to dry laundry and heat treat various household items via a bedbug heater. Let me throw in a caveat that it took several months, in part because the infestation was bad, but the bugs were eventually eliminated. Jason likely would have been able to eliminate them quicker had we have him do it himself, and his pricing (which he stated over the phone) was clear and very reasonable compared to other companies; but, you will need to follow his directions and be patient. He also stated he services the entire state of Virginia, so keep that in mind if you live here. With that said, my experience indicates to me that Jason is as honest and fair as they get, and if you follow his recommendations, he will go above and beyond to help you eliminate your infestation! Jason, thank you so much for all your help and advice, which helped us to eliminate our bedbug problem. It is deeply appreciated!!

I am so frustrated, I hired Jason to get rid of bed bugs, I STILL have them after he came for 3 months straight, I paid $900 to get them out of my house, he charges another $150 to come a 4th time, I don't have any more money, I am tapped out, don"t know what to do next, can't afford to hire anyone else. Guess I went to the wrong place.

I have had Green Akers for the past year and I must say my home has never been more pest free. I used to spend a great deal of money on bug spray and now I don't know the last time I have even seen a spider. My initial call to Jason was for fleas. When he came to my home and explained to me that it could take a few weeks to see results I was a little worried but I hired him anyway and to tell the truth I have not had a flea since. I hired him to continue the pest control service for spiders and other insects because of his A+ service. Thank you Jason.
