What an awesome pest control company!!! Call them at 9am for an issue with ants...they told me to give them a few minutes to reach out to a technician and that was EXACTLY what happened!!! The technician explained what I could to help keep the ant population down until my follow-up visit...VERY HELPFUL!!!

I called to schedule a termite inspection for a Veteran. Was told by the agent on the phone "we can definitely do that". I then said the property was in DC, which it says is an area served on their website. She said they are not taking any new business in the DC area, because of traffic and "big trucks" etc. I don't think it takes a big truck to do a termite inspection. May want to change areas served on the website then.

Very disappointed. We spotted a rat in our basement and called Better Termite and Pest Control the next morning. They scheduled an appointment for the afternoon. The work order was to "give estimate and treat same day". We assumed that meant they would lay out traps, poison, etc to take care of the rat. Unfortunately that's not what happened. Instead they tried to up-sell us a "rodent control service for $650 yearly, $200 initial, $90 per service". We didn't want to spend upwards of a thousand dollars to take care of a rat so we declined. They laid no traps or poison or anything at all. Later that day I went to the hardware store and spent $25 on traps and poison.

A house next to us has been vacant for ten years, with recent construction going on there all rodents inside are scattering to find new homes. Clearly some of them found there way into our place. After hearing scratching sounds under our kitchen floor we called several pest removal companies and went with the one that could help us the fastest. Initial experience with Better Termite was great. They told me all the things I wanted to hear and the rep that came out was very friendly. I signed up for a year of service for bugs and rodents and he got to work putting out bait stations etc (or so I thought) and then sprayed the perimeter. The spray certainly helped as we noticed the bugs had all but gone away. The rep told me the rats down there would die eventually from lack of food or water and it was a non-issue. That didn't happen. I ended up cutting a hole in the basement ceiling and putting my own traps up there and catching five huge rats with no help from this company. When I caught the first one I called BT and had them come out and the guy was very condescending, "are you sure it was a RAT?! Cause I really doubt it was a rat." Once I showed him a picture he agreed it was a rat with no apology for his hubris. He then stated he would triple or quadruple the amount of bait stations outside which never happened. I've done all the work here and for some reason I'm paying them for it. This place is a joke find somewhere else. I give two stars because our bug problem is fixed.

Not a problem , but, when I saw the truck my immediate reaction was maybe something was wrong. The service Tech. Joan assured me that it was the usual visit. Very happy with all the service.

In the process of selling my home, I discovered that my house had evidence of past termite activity, and I had to have a termite treatment done. I was skeptical of the pest inspection report provided to me by another pest company, so I called George at Better Termite. He heard my concern, and he scheduled a team to come to my house two days later. Juan and his crew were true professionals. They donned booties while in the house, and they were courteous and professional. Juan showed me the areas of concern and explained how the treatment would work. He patiently answered my questions about termites in general, and he and his crew worked expediently to finish the work.
