I am a Realtor in the Hampton Roads area. Back Bay Pest was hired to perform repairs on some moisture damaged joists and sub-flooring that were required for the sale of a property I had listed. The work was scheduled and completed in a timely manner, and they responded quickly when we needed a last minute touchup on the work just before closing. All at a very reasonable price. I will be using them in the future for inspections, treatments, and repair work.

Respectful, professional company! My preventative maintenance consultation was great and I was provided tips on ways to keep my home in good condition. Greg came today and answered questions as well as gave me feedback on some concerns. I selected the in-home and complete exterior option with quarterly visits. I look forward to continued service with this team! Update July 2018: Back Bay resolved an issue in my attic and in my crawl space with pests. So thankful for their upfront assessments! Jacob and his guys are awesome. A friend recommended I give them a call and I was very pleased. The sent a text the day of my appointment as a reminder and shortly after I received a call stating they would be there early. My house backs up to a wooded area and in the winter I get visitors in my attic. The technician was very informative and explained to me things he would be looking for while he was up there. He even recommended a few other suggestions for the upcoming spring to prevent wasp in my attic. It was a comforting experience and definitely more than I expected. I highly recommend them!

Greg (our technician) was very thorough, knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He took his time with us and didn’t rush, we weren’t just a number to him. These guys are the bomb! We’ve had tons of rain so issues with crawl space moisture have been making it hard to do inspections for home sales. They did not take advantage of the situation as other companies did by inflating costs. They are straight shooters, call back when they say they will, are efficient and conscientious. I looked up a new pest control service via the web and Back Bay Pest was highly rated. I ordered serve to our home and the availability, rates, and ease of service was amazing! They will text you to let you know the exact time range, cost, and date of agreed service. They are either on time or a bit early upon agreement:) They return for service if there are issues between quarterly visits. The technician explains what he is doing and obtains permission prior to gaining access to each portion of the home. He also knocks on the door upon reentry of the home no matter how familiar he is with you. I really appreciated his professionalism! No problem with pests in between visits:) Highly reasonable price. Much better than the corporate options...If you are shopping for pest control, do it! These guy are the best in town!

Jacob/Back Bay Pest Control provides a great service. Our technician, Gregory, comes out to our home and does a treatment on a quarterly basis. I always know when they're coming and once Gregory arrives, he checks in with me to ask if there are any specific areas which need addressing. Then, he goes on to do his job very well. He always reminds me that I'm welcomed to call them back anytime to address a problem. Gregory is very professional and diligent about his job. I consider myself very lucky to have found this company. I've been their customer for about about 2 years.

We were having serious issues with little spiders and ants coming into our home someway. Back Bay took care of it all. It's been a couple of weeks and we haven't see anything crawl into the house. Greg took the time to explain what he was going to do when he arrived. He even put on some boot covers in order to not bring in dirt into the house (this is important, one time some technician which shall remain nameless that starts with C ends with X came in with mud and straight our rug and kitchen) anyway, I really recommend these guys. We went on the quarterly plan as to not have any issues in the future. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

I have used Back Bay for about a year now. They come out Monthly to treat around the outside of my house and my yard (1 acre). I have 3 dogs and the fact that they use natural, pet safe products gives me peace knowing my dogs will not be effected by them. We have not had any bugs in the house because of the service outside. Additionally, I had some wasps try and build a few nests around the eaves between services and they removed them during the next service without being asked. Great service, great people, and great Customer Service!
