I was a client with this company for over a year. I have two children under 3, and when I informed this company that I had scorpions in my home, they were incapable of scheduling an appointment sooner than a week. This is unacceptable considering how dangerous scorpions can be for children of that age. I will be changing my service to a company that is capable of handling a high volume of clients and that respects a customer’s needs. Do yourself a favor, go with ORKIN.

My family has had our home treated by Romney Pest Control for at least 4 years. They always come quarterly for our treatments. The best part is we never have any issues with bugs within our home, and the few times we've seen an ant hill or a wasp nest outside in the yard they have treated the problem right away. I recently purchased a business, and because of the great service Romney has provided for my home they now treat my business. I was having a few bug (spider) problems because of the early spring rain, but since their first treatment my business has been bug free now for months. Only ONE trearment did the trick. Romney Pest Control provides great prompt service. They always provide a thorough inspection before they begin to make sure they don't miss anything. The best part is they are very affordable, and don't try and upsell anything you don't need. Thank you Romney for the peace of mind of being bug free!

These folks are regularly going door to door in our neighborhood, ignoring the no soliciting signs posted at all entrances. When told they are in violation, the young man says he didn’t know...only to hear that several neighbors just told him the same thing before coming to my door. I would not hire a company who expected their employees to trespass and exhibit dishonesty.

We are transplanted northerners who moved to Texas in 2011. Within a couple of months of moving to Texas, we sought help from Romney to get rid of pests we were not familiar with and some we were. Almost five years later we are still using Romney on a regular basis to get rid of pests we have and to deter pests that we otherwise might have. After being visited by a handful of technicians, Jesse serviced our property and we were very impressed with his expertise and good nature. Jesse is very thorough every time he services our property. He seeks pests and pest havens based on his expertise and ensures that the pests are eradicated or deterred from appearing. We have been so pleased with Jesse's service and expertise that we have requested that he service our property exclusively. Romney's office staff is also very friendly and helpful. We receive a notice letting us know when our next regular treatment is scheduled. If the scheduled time is not convenient for us, they are happy to work with us to schedule a mutually convenient time.

We have had this company for at least 4 years. Rarely have any bug problems. If we do, they come out quickly and do not charge us for the visit. They found termites in the yard and let us know right away about them. I feel confident knowing they are treating my home correctly. Once they missed some ant mounds but it was raining so it was not a big deal. Good to go if you want to check them out.

He knows what to do, , knew he would take care of if any wasps found of any kind. Same with fire ants. Their technicians are trained to do the job and do it right. When a baby rattle snake was found inside front corner of the garage the technician was here to take care of it, caught it to find he had a small rattler, took it away from here.

In addition to doing a very through job I nicknamed Jesse as the "Pest Detective" ! We have problems that would come and go in the half bath with grain beetles. He did a inspection and pulled out a box of RID-X from under the sink. In side was the infestation of the little pests. He explained how they can lay their eggs during packaging and appear later at the homeowners residents. Thanks for the great service.

We’ve been using Jitterbug pest control for several years and they were recently taken over by Romney. Romney has rescheduled 2 appointments last minute after we’ve arranged our schedules to be at home for the treatment, and for the third time the technician was not able to make the appointment. After speaking with the general manager, they were not willing to do anything for the 3 missed appointments. Phone conversations with the company were unprofessional and would recommend finding another more reliable company.

About a month ago, I moved into a house that had been vacant for almost a year. Because of that, several undesirable creatures had made themselves at home. I had tried just about everything available on the market, with some success, but I was still seeing roaches in my kitchen when I came in to make morning coffee. I caved in and called Romney at the recommendation of a neighbor. The lady who took my call ( can't remember her name-oops!) was so friendly and answered all of my questions- even the silly ones. She was able to get someone out the next day. The technician showed up one time and was very polite. He even wore shoe covers in the house! I could tell he had not been on the job long but as a teacher I welcome the opportunity to let anyone have a chance to learn. I think he could tell I was a little embarrassed to even be having this problem in the first place but he put me at ease and made me feel a lot better about everything.He was very thorough in his treatment and since he left I have not had any unwanted visitors! So far I am very happy with my decision to sign a service contract for quarterly service Romney.

I have been using Romney Pest Control ever since I moved into my home in 2010. I used to have Tarantulas and other spiders around my house, and it was obvious early on that this house was also infested w/ roaches and ants, but not anymore! Romney comes by quarterly and does their thing, I couldn't be as comfortable in this home if it weren't for these guys. All their techs are professional and are very informative about what they're doing and what they see, but I really do appreciate Alfred's thoroughness with finding and removing hornet's nest and other misc spider webs in the soffits of my home.
