They don't try to sell you anything you don't need. I love that they are authentic, respectful and I feel I can trust them. I was going to use another company, but I trusted the people at Romex too much to consider someone else. They weren't the cheapest, but I felt like I would get what they promised me. There's a difference between Value and Price.

Eric did our ‘bug’ treatment today. I really do appreciate that he called first. I’m not sure if this is going to get him in trouble or not but I was very impressed with the coverage of the bug and insect treatment that he put down. We have the large professional grade rodent feeding boxes around the house exterior and the fence, and he cleaned all of them and replenished them. Maybe that was to be expected, but those were our boxes that I put out myself, and Romex Pest took ownership of all of them Very impressed. Very professional. If you like your bugs, keep these guys away from them. But if you’re like me and are not particularly fond of them, call Romex

I was a little disappointed with my last full service so I called to do a re-service. Spiders were taking over our patio, I have never in my life seen so many cobwebs or spiders dropping down constantly. Dekawme Turner was the technician who came out. It was later on a Friday evening and we were his last call. He took so much time and care to clean and sweep the cobwebs and he found two wasp nests. It had gotten so bad I did not want to go out on the patio. Thank you Dekawme, we appreciate the time and pride you take in your work and hope you will be our tech going forward.

I called Romex for service, because of a spider that I saw in my master bathroom. I showed Johnny Lopez a picture of the spider and explained to me that it was a wolf spider and it was indigenous to the area. The most important thing that he said that it was harmless. What a relief because my wife is horrified by spiders. Johnny went on to explain how they typically get into the house, and what he would do to try to prevent it in the future. I called Romex to ask for a little early service. We live by Lake Lewisville and more bugs and mosquitoes were appearing. When Vlad and Pedro arrived, I asked about two other concerns. During the spring, three sets of Dove’s had nested around our home. Two between the eaves and gutters and one came up into our back patio and nested into our ceiling fan dome lamp. Crazy, I know. I was also concerned, due to all of the new construction, with snakes in the area. My husband tends to leave the garage door open at times. These two gentlemen were so great! They checked for snakes and removed the 3 nests. Wow! Truly appreciated the extra service.

Romex is by far the best pest control service I’ve ever used. I’ve used other companies in the past, but those companies never spent the additional time spraying around the outside perimeter of my house top to bottom (I live in a two-story house) and the people weren’t very knowledge on their products. I was highly impressed with Eric, he listened to my concerns and took the time to explain the best method for pest control in a new neighborhood. As a mom of two little kids, I was also impressed with his overall knowledge on pesticides and the preventative techniques he provided. He genuinely cared about my kids. Romex provides exceptional service and I will request Eric for all my future appointments.

I had previously written a review concerning Romex and a situation that occured with them. It was a negative review. The owner of the company, Brandon, contacted me personally and we talked through what had happened. He apologized for the conduct of the employee and also assured me that processes had now been put in place to avoid the same thing happening again. No excuses were made for the incident, just a sincere apology and a request to give them the chance to show that they are a good company and worth working with. I had a visit from one of their service personnel today, and they were very polite, knowledgeable, and performed their service in a very careful manner. They took the time to explain to me what to expect over the next few days and if anything did not appear to work, call them back. The team also apologized again for the unfortunate incident before. The conduct of the owner and the conduct of the team today are both what I would expect from a company who is giving it their all to do right by their customers. Good Job. I will call them in the future if I need something take care of at my home.

Mathew and JJ did a wonderful job! They were very professional and very polite. All the areas of my house were treated in and out; not only that, but they also got rid of all the wasps nests. We previously had Orkin and they never got rid of the wasp nests and sometimes charge extra for wasp treatments. Romex did a wonderful job, I totally recommended it!
