We had a lot of rain and they came out and provided a courtesy extra treatment after I called to express my concern that I was seeing mosquitos again. Had an entire mosquito system installed a few years ago and kept the monthly service for a couple years at least. Service was awful and although I was billed monthly, it would be months before our yard would be serviced so we left. Fast forward to this year, we received a mail offer for a $250 credit on our account to come back so we decided to try again. Had a good initial experience, they sent someone out to reinspect the system but he said we needed a few nozzles and they would send someone out to repair them. Got billed, no one ever came for for repairs so I reached back out and she said, oh he replaced them when he was there. I was there the entire time and unless he did it when I went inside for 5 minutes, they weren’t replaced. He even told me he didn’t have them and would have to send someone else out. Long story short: this isn’t the end of the world, but I’m not confident the level of service has changed. I’ve reached out twice asking when they’ll be replaced and first was told they already were, and when I explained what happened the second time, no response. Everyone was nice so I’m hoping this is just miscommunication but we’ll see.

I bought their groupon only to be told that I couldn't use it because I had used one three months prior. Nothing in their fine print indicated a time limit, but they claim "one per household" actually means "one per year." Not sure why they don't want my money, but they won't get it. Save yourself a headache and go with someone else.

At some point the original company was acquired by a larger corporation, and the quality of the service dropped dramatically. Quite often the technician who comes to service my system misses something, like a fallen riser or a clogged nozzle, and I have to call to get someone to come back out. They switched from an all-natural repellent to some kind of hybrid artificial/natural compound without notifying their customers (I only knew because another reviewer mentioned it, and I checked my invoices to confirm). They have also raised their prices twice without any notification; I was simply billed a larger amount. By now there are a number of firms offering this kind of service, and I would definitely check them out before settling on MosquitoNix. UPDATE: I received a call from the local owner, Josh Wright, the day after posting this review. He was very accepting of and responsive to my criticisms. Apparently he has only been in his position a few months, and he sounds committed to giving customers good service. I will be in further communication with him and will update this review again.

We are a family of 6 (2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs) and we love spending as much time as possible outside (grilling, swimming, kicking a ball). We live in 78704 and the mosquitos can make it miserable or just not possible to be outside which would be a waste of a great backyard. MosquitoNix has made it possible for us to enjoy our backyard with family and friends with a great product and great service. We get a regular treatment every 4 weeks but sometimes that doesn't cut it due to rain or other and MosquitoNix is great about showing up for additional treatments when every 4 weeks isn't enough or when we are having a get-together. We have a half acre back yard that's heavily covered with trees and vegetation. I tried spraying myself with several products and although they helped, we were still driven indoors by the mosquitoes. While we still get a few random mosquitoes after treatment with MosquitoNix the improvement is quite dramatic and we are very much enjoying our back yard!

MosquitoNix is awesome! We had a severe misquito infestation and we called these guys and now we have no more mosquitos. WOW! It is so cool that we can now go outside without being carried off by millions of mosquitos, not to mention the terrible diseases that they can transmit. I have this system for over two months and it’s working! Woho! Do not expect that you won’t see any mosquitos because it’s not possible unless you have your neighbors doing the same thing as you do... Initially it’s a big cost but it pays off, trust me! Had few issues some caused by my puppy and some by nozzles but it took them less then 24 hours to come and fix it! You won’t regret it!

Excellent on first treatment. I still am looking forward for the subsequent treatments being at the same caliber as the first treatment was. So far that hasn't been the case. Also, you are the one who needs to call for retreatment after it rains. Do not expect this company to do so even though it has rained the same day of your completed scheduled treatment. The good is that you pay per treatment not a lump sum as the competitors require.

Freedom reclaimed! My wife is apparently a mosquito's favorite appetizer, entree and dessert! We found this out after moving from California and buying a house on a large lot in Cedar Park. The huge yard is what we always wanted, but hiding from mosquitoes indoors made us feel like prisoners gazing through the bars at freedom. Driving home from work, I saw a billboard for MosquitoNix and called right away. They were able to come out the next day and perform a quick 15 minute "fogging" of our property. The last week has been our most enjoyable yet! We've been able to enjoy our yard, and my wife has not received a single new mosquito bite! Thanks, MosquitoNix!!! BTW, if you get on a schedule of treating you property every 21 days, they will give you a guarantee and will come out between treatments for free if necessary. It's a little pricey... but can you really put a price on NOT being eaten?!

Mosquitonix ROCKS! We have had this system for over 4 years, and it is great. 4 years ago, we could not go out into the backyard or out onto our beautiful deck over looking the lake without having to lather up with chemicals to keep the mosquitoes at bay, and then it was iffy. Since Mosquitonix, we now enjoy our outdoors with no pest issues AT ALL. No mosquitoes, no gnats, no roaches, etc. I recommend Mosquitonix to all.

I purchase a fairly expensive (~60 nozzle) system for my new home. I've owned a mosquito mister system at my previous home, and am quite familiar with them. It didn't bode well that the young man who installed the system was fired midway through because his boss didn't think he was doing a very good job. But supposedly, they went over the system to make sure it was up to snuff. But after about a year of use, I just didn't feel that I was getting a sufficient decrease in my mosquito problem. And when the system would turn on, I just didn't seem to get much in the way of the misting. I started digging up the system and found to my dismay, that many of the risers were improperly installed with the PVC tubing being kinked in so many places throughout my system. They use a system where they would drill a hole at the bottom of a piece of copper pipe and thread the tubing up the pipe to create a riser. What they don't tell you is that the tubing will kink almost every time at the point where it enters the copper pipe. I ended up spending several days off having dig up most of the system, replace almost all the risers, and a great deal of tubing myself, spending several hundreds of dollars on new riser kits, nozzles and tubing. This particularly is irritating after spending a few thousand on the system in the first place! I did end of calling MosquitoNix to complain and tell them of my experience. I really didn't know what their response would be, if any, but the representative did promise that the owner would call me back. Well, a week later, no response from the company. I'm so glad that I didn't get a service contract from this company! Save yourself a significant amount of money, time, and hassle. Find another source for your mosquito misting system.
