I love these guys. Although my husband is the one who deals with them during their visits for the most part, I've been so pleased with their service. They clearly care about the environment - when we originally hired them we explained that we had a lot of wildlife, bees included, visiting our yard that we didn't want harmed. They have taken care to make sure they don't hurt anything that we WANT visiting us. When we had a crazy meal moth infestation in our garage they got it under control right away. When we had a huge gorgeous spider hanging out in our backyard they not only left her alone but told us about what type she was - how cool. I appreciate that they help us get rid of the bad stuff while respecting the lives of everything else.

So initially we were happy with EnviroGuard, we have been with them a month. A week or so after the initial treatment we noticed an up tick in bugs, and those huge spiders so we requested another "free" treatment. The guy who did the treatment only did outside then came in our house and started yelling "I AM DONE!!" over and over again.. cue the baby crying. When I went to talk with him I asked if he had done the inside, and he said "I got the entry points really good, so I don't need to do the inside". I proceeded to tell him about a rather large spider I had seen and killed that morning. So he said he would do inside... well he did ONLY the spot where I had seen the spider. Needless to say I have killed several more since the treatment. Also, every morning I see 20 or so earwigs crawling around our patio... and they don't die. However, the young man who did the initial treatment was amazing and went above and beyond. On the the financial aspect of it - we were told that we would have an initial fee then after that we would be charged every 2 months. We got charged the initial fee, then after the re-treatment we were charged again. My husband called and they said the second charge was a valid charge. We decided we wanted to cancel our treatments from here on out (which we were told we could cancel at any time) and low and behold we are "in a contract" and they will charge us $160 to cancel!!! My husband was told that someone will be reaching out to him to resolve our issues. If they do, and refund us the second charge of $85 and do not charge us for canceling I will change the amount of stars to be higher than 1 and leave an update.

I've been using Enviroguard for almost three years. Thanks to their lawn treatments we have no fire ants, and the wasps and hornets have gone off elsewhere. If y'all are concerned about pets, I wouldn't worry. My dogs have done well and suffer no ill effects.

This company is so terrible, they owe me some stars in return. I have never dealt with a more dishonest and poor customer service establishment in my life. I have also addressed my concerns with their service, attitude and quality of work, only to be ignored and charged. After more than 6 months of being unhappy with them, they still came to my house last weekend and provided "Service" to finish out my contract. My contract is now finished, and if they ever step foot on my property again I will have them served with a criminal trespass warning. I hope my money was worth it. Total lack of character, integrity or class.

I signed up with EnviroGuard with Zach, a partial owner of the company. Overall they have been a decent company to be with. It was my understanding that I could cancel at any time however I am finding out now that this is not the case. I called to cancel and found out that I have one service left to satisfy my contract or I would need to pay $125 to cancel early even though this is less than my service amount. I thought that surely I could move on in a different direction given that my contract is substantially satisfied. Apparently not, they are holding me to contract that was verbally described to me as conditional on my satisfaction. I know better than to accept a verbal promise from a salesperson, even if they are partial owners.

Awesome company and even better people to work with. They displayed amazing service on my house. A gentleman by the name of kory came by. He was extremely nice and I enjoyed talking with him. He really took time to answer any and all concerns and he made sure I knew exactly what was going on and how their service differed from my last companies services. It’s a night and day difference with enviro-guard compared to my last company. I highly highly highly recommend these guys. And if you get the chance to work with Kory take it. He is an awesome guy with a lot of zest. Doesn’t hurt we share the same name as well.

They automatically schedule their service for weekdays. So if you want them to do the inside of your home you have to call and schedule it every time. I have rescheduled every appointment I've ever had with them. On multiple occasions they have come out when they weren't support to as well. I called customer service and they could not schedule me for Saturdays. What???? I would not use this service if I were you. They are not organized.

I was referred to this company after many bad months with another pest service. Cory was easy to talk with and eased all of my concerns with what I experienced in the past. Steven serviced my home and was very professional, knowledgeable, and accomplished a huge feat (not freaking out my 5 dogs and 2 pigs). The cost is very fair, and so far I have had no pest problems and I live way out in the country! Definitely the best servicer in the area

This is the worst company. They don't show up when they are supposed to and when I asked them to show up to spray the inside of my garage they never came until a week later when I wasn't home to let them in. I have also tried to cancel my services and was told it would take 1-2 business days and now they are telling me it would be 5. I NEVER leave reviews but I am so disappointed with this company. Don't take 5 days to call me back so that I can cancel my services. Honestly, I also wouldn't be surprised if within the next few days they come spray my yard just to take more money from me.

WORST DECISION EVER. Can you give 0 stars? Apparently not; maybe the ratings should be updated. Similarly to others, we were lied to about the contract. We were promised guaranteed satisfaction. I should have known when the "owner" came by the door trying to sell us on the services. As I see below, other people were taken in by "the owner" with a different name. Sounds a little fishy. Anyway, he spoke bad about the current pest company we were using and promised all these new services with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. He said there was a 12 month service contract, but to worry about it because it's never enforced. We thought he had a solid system they were offering and thought about trying something that was kid and pet friendly. WORST DECISION EVER. We've had more bug problems than ever along with new rodent issues. We never had this issue with our prior company. When our next service call was scheduled, I tried to reach the company and reschedule because I wanted a full inside/out tratment since the issues were continuing to get worse. They were closed, so I made every effort to reach them by phone/email. To my dismay, they showed up and treated without responding to any of my requests. I called to find out why they were at my house (because we were not home), and apparently all my contact efforts were "lost" or according to them, I never called/emailed. Lies. I ended up cancelling my contract because I'm not satisfied with the customer service or product. I was advised I would have a termination fee. I told them I would be disputing it. I have filed a BBB complant and will file a TX AG complaint. I have several neighbors who were swindled by this company too. Don't be fooled. You shouldn't have a contract for pest services. It's a sham! Stay away from this company.

He was professional and courteous throughout, very knowledgable. Pricing was good considering the service and end result which was fantastic. We can now rent out the property again! so far everything looks good. i haven't seen many bugs yet so ill wait for 2 weeks before i call back if i need to. Chris and his partner were great, they paid extra attention and detail to what my requests were and even looked for ant mounts in the back yard from all this rain and treated them. they both enjoyed meeting our dog and were very sweet with her, she has a large stranger danger field. overall with service thus far i am happy with it.

Have used them for 2 homes now. I didn’t like that they have a contract agreement however, it didn’t matter in the end because their services and communication have been wonderful and they are fairly priced. What’s really a perk about the company is if you aren’t satisfied they come back and respray, I know another company I priced in the Austin area was $20 to do so. With the weather so inconsistent here, that is a great service to me.

EnviroGuard sucks, this is a Scam to get our money. the guy that came to the door told me I can have the service as long as I want and can terminate whenever I want without any fees. the service that they provided did not work at all and I wanted the service to be terminated. now I am being charged $100 for early termination. next time you guys see enviroguard people show up to your door, simply say no and save your hard earned money. and this one star is just so that I can post this review.

This was our third attempt for pest control services in San Antonio area. Finally found a keeper! (5 Stars)Jesse Flores deserves employee of the month! He is very personable and answered my questions and was EXTREMELY patient with my timeline in opening the door and being attacked with kisses from my two overly affectionate dogs. He is attentive and I am thankful for his service. UPDATE: Unfortunately I have to lower my rating to one star that is not even deserved. I was one of the early reviewers and and brought many neighbors to this company. The service was great in the beginning, but recently I’ve been seeing bugs in between treatments. To their credit they did come out and re-spray. My problem is when I called to cancel and I was informed I have to pay for 2 more services which amounts to almost $200. Everyone was super friendly signing me up, but failed to mention there is a contract. I am fairly new to the area and purposely didn’t sign up with other companies that had a contract. I am company friendly, but contracts are outdated and shady business. So, before you sign up be sure to read all the fine print and ask a lot of questions because this part of the deal is not explained at the time of friendly sign up.

There was a huge spider that somehow got into the house and a few ants in the bathroom so I called up Cory one weekend. It happened to be Memorial Day weekend and even though he was supposed to have the day off, Cory came over and sprayed my whole house again free of charge! He was willing to come out immediately, on the 4th even though most companies would have said "sorry it's a holiday!". So we signed up for a 12 month contract and then specifically spoke with someone and stated that we would not be renewing our contract and we would call them as needed because we had just moved into a new house and wanted to get settled. The girl said that was perfectly okay since we had already finished our contract ... all of a sudden we receive a voicemail stating that they are coming out the next day and by the time I was able to respond to it , they were closed so of course I left a voicemail stating for them not to come out because I had already completed our contract and they were not needed at this time. Well I get home the next day and they had serviced the house and charged me the $85 after I specially had already told them we were not renewing and to cancel any further appointments. To top it off the back yard was locked so they charged me a full service for spraying the front of the house. When I called the lady answered and stated nothing could be done because they had already serviced the house . I specifically explained I cancelled but basically it was like too bad. I requested to speak to her manager Daniel but the girl said her boss does not speak to customers . I have never heard of a manager who does not take time out of their day to address customer concerns. All we got was you will receive a call tomorrow. So let’s see if I actually receive this call and if they reimburse me for a mistake on their end. I was planning on using them when needed, but not anymore. I’m in a new built community so I will be sure to share my experience with all my upcoming neighbors. Basically I feel like your contract ends and they are just going to try and keep charging you and charging you . It’s very frustrating. Hopefully they will resolve this concern

So far, my only complaint is the office personnel. More than one time, I have ran into extremely rude office personnel who clearly can't define customer service. This past week, the lady was so rude, I tried to cancel my services, but I was apparently under some contract. The service and the route exterminators have been excellent and very friendly. The are very thorough and aren't in a hurry to get to the next house. I've had a few recalls for bugs etc and I was able to reschedule pretty easily. Just FYI, if the route guy arrives early (allowed 15 min), they are required to stay 20 min after the designated time. My last guy didn't and they came back for another full sevice. Minus the office ladies, it's been a great service!

STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. They have several times tried to charge me for service that I never received. When I called to let them know that no one showed up, they assured me that someone would come do the treatment free of charge. Guess what...he never showed up either. This was in September 2017, now they are trying to not only charge me for services not received but an early cancellation fee as well. I guess if they think if they don't show up they should still be paid and if not, they will just start charging fees. Ridiculous.

Worst Pest Service Ever. This company went around our neighborhood cold calling. When we talked to the sales rep he told us that we had to spray every two months. Which we had never heard of but we were willingly to give them a try. They sprayed inside due to it raining that day then came back and did the outside. They seemed great but next time they only did the outside and charged full price. Then we didn't see or hear from them until we randomly get a text they are coming out. by this time I've been seeing so many spiders and as we called around most pest control said they should come in every time and do it either once a year or if you want every 3 months. When we called to talk to the office we were told we could do 3 months we had to have our yard wet. Why wouldn't you tell us that. We were just so unhappy with the customer service once we called to cancel things just confirmed that this isn't the right place for us. The lady was soo rude and then transferred us to an even ruder person saying that we were in a contract. We never saw a contract or an agreement. However I can't get a copy of it and they want to charge us for canceling early. I have never encountered such rudeness and unprofessional-ism. I do have to add the guy that sprays is super nice but the product does not do the job. Update: so its been over a week since my review and someone from the company said they would get to the bottom of this and make things right. We have not heard a peep except why can't we get approval on your credit card for you canceling early. We froze our card and they try to charge everyday. I still haven't seen anything that was signed. And I'm still getting billed. Run Run RUN don't use this company

Don't use this company. I signed up had an initial visit and called multiple times to have them re-service between scheduled visits like they said they do and they chose to ignore me. They lock you into a contract and charge you early termination for them not doing what they promise Response from the owner 31 minutes ago: Alan we are so sorry to hear about your experience. We are sad to see you go and wish we could have reached a positive resolution. We are happy to come out in between services at no extra cost to ensure we are taking care of all issues, we would be thrilled at the opportunity to take care of your specific needs. I tried to get you to come out and you ignored me. I asked you to waive your early termination fee when I cancelled and you said you would have a manager email me and you didn't. I responded to your email invoice for early termination fee and you said it is protocol and you don't have the abilities to do waive the fee that YOU are charging. We can still reach a positive resolution if you waive your early termination fee. I already paid you for your first visit that I was not satisfied with.

In San Antonio, We previously tried a different pest control company which didn't do a good job. Chantry was very honest about the cost and about the service. Enviroguard is very thorough and sprayed the entire yard. We have not seen any pest. The tech, Tyler West did very thorough work. Very respectful. I appreciate that he removed his shoes when he came into the house. We are very pleased thus far with the service.

If you are a new community this is the worst company to go with. If they can't find your address they cancel but they still charge you. Then if you want to cancel service they tell you someone would call you back to discuss this, and they don't they just take $300 dollars out of your account for a termination fee. This is really bad customer service.

I changed over to these guys a few months back from another company and have been very happy. For just a few dollars more per quarter, I get them to come every two months instead of every three. They knock down any nests they see and I've never needed them to come back between treatments. Great job guys!

They showed up Wednesday at 926am and finished my property at 935am. Tech said they couldn't do much but put some granules out because the weather wouldn't allow for much else but still charged me full price. If weather conditions make it difficult to perform the full spectrum of services, then you should have rescheduled my appointment to a different day. It isn't up to me to know what services they can perform with the crazy weather. I didn't need service inside the home, but expected a full service outside for a full service charge, instead I got a 10 min visit to do my entire yard with the granules. After the $85 charge went thru for Wednesdays service, they tried to run my card again on Friday for another $85 and the cancelation fee because I feel the work they did is substandard and do not wish for them to continue serving my property. Good thing i had report my debit card lost last night because they were unable to bill the extra $85 charge plus $260 cancelation fee. Now they threaten to send me to collections to force me to pay for canceling for inadequate work. And Beware they also charge sales tax on a cancelation fee which is illegal as cancelation fees are not taxable.

We tried another pest control service and paid a ridiculous price and received hardly any service (a few sprays and nothing else), but Nate not only completed every service we paid for but also educated us on the Do's & Don't for summertime pest control. Luke stopped by today and asked how the service was and if we were satisfied, and YES! We love EnviroGuard! We stopped seeing scorpions, and those gigantic spiders and the weep holes were even treated for bees/wasps. Simply put, these guys get the job done! EXTREME CAUTION! Deceptive business practices! I was happy with my current pest control provider. A young salesman impressed me and wanted to help him out. I agreed to pay $20 more a service in order to do so. I asked him if I was able to cancel service at any time and he confirmed that I could. I also asked him if that my rate would be locked in and he confirmed yes. I called to cancel service and was informed that if I wanted to cancel I couldn’t. In addition to that I was informed that my rate was going to increase by $200 at the end of my discounted 1 year contract and I was locked in until I sold my house.

Was told that the service would be performed every 2 month and that the first month is for free. I started in May 2017 and was billed for a service that was supposed to be for free. Then in June they wanted to come and perform another service and charge me again. I called and they reversed the bill and cancelled the June service. In July they billed me for a service that was not performed because the service man couldn't find the address. I called and after 30 minutes of arguing they agreed to contact the service man. He confirmed that he couldn't find the house and no service was performed. Again they reversed the bill and I told Danielle that I don't trust the company anymore. Danielle said she would cancel the contract without early termination fee. Now over 1 year later in September 2017 all the sudden I received a bill for early termination. Worst company ever.

It's like trying to quit a gym! Honestly the pest control service was ok. A lot of times they missed things but they did come back for free and do it again. A lot. I found a better deal with a different company and thought my contract, which is 2 years by the way, was over in June. Called to cancel. Girl told me she can't cancel, you have to speak to a manager. Finally got me a manager and they insist I have one more service required or they will charge me $181 to quit a month early.. I told them to do their service. I was not polite at this point. They call me today to tell me they are charging my the fee because the last service hasn't been done, again, that's for next month. She says thats what I told her to do. I let her know that she needed to do my last service because if I got charged that fee I was going to sue them. I will never do business with this company again. I feel bad because I have recommended them in the pat!

He was very knowledgeable and assured me that all products being used were pet safe. All those dreaded spiders have almosly completely disappeared and I haven't seen any more scorpions! Their prices are very competitive and they are great about calling ahead before your service appointment.
