We've had great experiences with Russell's since our home seller used them for inspection after we found termites. They jump to help any time you have an issue and have the guarantee if there's any damage while under their contract. In two years we've found termites twice on the property and they promptly treated and removed them. When you call with problems you always get greeted pleasantly by someone able to help (most recently Jennifer) and able to rectify the situation in 10 minutes or less. We bought a home that the builder agreed to let this company install bare bins in the ground. They very aggressively marketed an outrageous termite protection plan to us as new home owners even after we told them to stop. They would not stop calling my phone or mailing me scary looking “official” mail at my new address. After a year of living at my new home they show up at 7:50AM on a Saturday to tell me they want their in-ground bate bins back that they placed around my home before purchase, while still trying to sell me on a protection plan. Idiotic. I an effort to hopefully make them go away for good, I agreed to let the unknowing technician come onto my property and take the plastic poison holders. I realize he had no clue of our past interactions with the company. It's a shame they have such aggressive and poorly thought out procedures in place with only one goal in mind; making more money. They very clearly do not care about the customer or potential customer over their own metrics. What a terrible way to do business. Even if I have termites one day I would never ever use this company.

i had gotten 2 quotes from other pest control companies before calling Russell's. After calling Russell's, Sherry came out to the house and did a very through inspection of my house inside and outside and under the house in the crawl space, to find out what our needs really were for pest control. Then they sent out Tim Williams to put in the anti-pest traps and spray the house. Both Sherry and Tim were professional and friendly and did excellent jobs. Was sound asleep today and I think I heard the doorbell. I ignore because everyone I know would call or txt before coming especially on a Saturday morning. Then I hear a banging on my door. This makes me mad. So I run to the door thinking its an emergency of some sort. Well its Russells saying they are going to pull the sentricon termite stations because the renewal hasnt been paid. I never had them installed. They were there from the previous home owner. Im glad I didnt renew if their techs are that rude. You dont go to anybodys house, ring the bell and bang on the door early in the morning on a Saturday unannounced unless its an emergency. If you dont have my number to call me with fair warning you could put a note on my door, during the day during the week asking me to call. I think you could have called though cause the tech I have never met before knew my name. After Russell's reply: Everything received from Russells looked like a sales post card and after receiving so many I just started tossing them without reading. If you did send a date as to removal I had no part in setting that date. It would never have been on a Saturday. Again best way to contact is a note on door if you dont have # to call. This note should have been placed on door during normal hours which most people know as 9 - 5 Mon- Fri. I did not hire Russells . The past owner had Russells as I could tell by all the ads from Russells wanting me to continue service. When I moved in , the day after previous owners moved out, I had ants everywhere as well as store bought ant killer. This told me that ants had been an on going problem. I have looked at past reviews of the company and though very nice responses and reviews there was no true accountability on owners part.

Russell's Pest Control has taken care of our house for over 10 years. They are very prompt,courteous and really care about you and your house. If I have a pest problem they take care of it. We had a dog in our back yard that wasnt very friendly with strangers. They would let us know when they were coming to treat the yard and we could put the dog in the garage. We use their seasonal pest service. They come out once a month during warm weather and spray the yard for mosquitoes, carpenter bees and any pests that I might see. I have to say that I hardly ever get any mosquito bites.

It is interesting to see the fantastic reviews for this company. That is not my experience. I have had ants, ants, ants, with lots of problems keeping them off and out of my house. This is a structural exterminator company not a shrub exterminator company. The idea with this service is that they can only treat your house and not the yard or trees where the ants are. I have needed to call the techs back (Austin and Brad) several times and the company is not happy about it. In the last visit with Brad he informed me that I would need to hire another company to get the ants that were filling our vehicles with their colonies. Which is different from the sales pitch they gave when they convinced me to purchase their $500, guaranteed, yearly service. Austin came out the other day (unannounced) and supposedly did his job start to finish in 14 minutes. It is not surprising that a few days later I notice a new ant colony invading my house again. There is one other problem that bothers me a little bit, aside of the minimal service and that is, there response time. It takes days (5 days today) for them to respond when you call in your problem. I am at the point now where I feel the need to hire another company, though I am uneasy about the fact that I gave Russel's the hundreds of dollars that I did and I am not getting the service ( ant free house) that I paid for .

Just want everyone know that Russell Pest Sales/Inspector rep Cody is the best. Over the past few weeks, I have had several inspectors from other pest control companies to give me estimates. Most just walk around perimeter and took measurement. Cody, however, took time explaining how termites access interior and signs to look for infestation, which he followed up by inspecting my crawl space . We went around the house and Cody showed me where treatment would be placed. Cody was very knowledgeable, professional and easy talking to. The two quotes he left me were very reasonable.
