Complete SCAM avoid this company at all costs, we had four estimates from other termite companies in hand during their visit. We discussed our desire to have a bond issued with the termite treatment of our home Tyler insured us that they would offer a better bond coverage than any of the other companies because of the superior nature of the product that they used. We asked for a copy of the bond for review before the service He didn't have one handy but would have when then technician would perform the work. When they arrived the new story was the bond will arrive after your check clears, seem reasonable at the time. We followed up after the check cleared and we were now told that it takes 30 days. After 30 day we again contacted them about the bond and now we were told the annual cost of the bond is now twice what we were quoted and it does not cover what we discussed. We tried contacting the manager but all correspondence has gone unanswered. We clearly discussed what services and coverage we were wanting and Tyler repeatedly assured us that the specific issues were covered and what the cost would be. But once our check was cashed he seem to develop memory loss and the ability to respond to questions. Apex termite and pest control is complete scam and you will be ripped off if you use their service.

We use Apex Termite & Pest Control for our in home pest control and have been very pleased with the results. We havent had any bug issues since we started using their services. The office was very pleasant to deal with and the technician who came out was very knowledgeable and helpful. We also had Apex do a moisture treatment and french drain and have been extremly pleased with the results. Their work was very professional, reasonably priced and completed the job in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend to everyone in need of pest control or moisture treatments.

We hired Apex to do >$3k of mold and water remediation at a vacate house we were selling about 200 miles from us. I received a call from Apex that all work was complete on the Wednesday before closing and promptly paid in full. The buyer had a re-inspection done on Saturday and, in fact, the work was about 50-60% complete. The buyer agreed to still close on the Monday because they had movers coming. As of Tuesday, progress has been made, but the work is still not complete. Still wondering if the work would have ever been completed if the buyer had not paid for a re-inspection.

Purchased a home that previously was under an Apex termite bond. I setup an appointment to have one of their techs come out to get the bond redone. After taking time off from work I waited 45min past the time I setup and called their office. They told me that the tech could show up to an hour after my scheduled time despite never mentioning this before. I decided to wait which was worthless since the tech never showed up. Don't waste your time like I did, they don't respect or care about their customers.

The owner and manager for this company do not guarantee the pest control. I was pressured into a 1 year contract instead of just having them come out once. I did not trust my gut when I decided to go with them and I have paid for it. I called to try and cancel my service. The General Manager threatened to take me to court to make me pay the rest on my 1 year contract. I am not the type to leave reviews like this normally but i can not believe how I was treated. The technician was wonderful and my ants where gone after the first try. I got bullied into signing a 1 year contract and now i am stuck.

While the guy who provided the service was nice, the treatment doesn't work and they don't stand by their product. The next day, I still had ants & flees and thought i would give it 2 days just to make sure the treatment set in. The next day, I called and they told me it would cost me another 100$ for them to come out and treat my home again . Had I known they don't guarantee their service and the 200$ wasn't going to zap the bugs the first time, I would have saved my money and tried something else.

It seems we should have listened to the 2 reviews from the unhappy customers. We are still not satisfied and done with the service, and it goes on since June 1st. Apex sent out a young man who wrote an estimate and what it included. We were due for the 7 year treatment. We paid the amount quoted and were told the treatment for the carpenter bees were included. We agreed to an annual amount for $125.00 (for life) per year for follow ups for the termites. The termite treatment was sloppy, I called him back. When we returned from a trip we found the official agreement signed by one person. Whoever typed in the name and address made an error and guess what? The mistakes were whited out and handwritten with a pen! Needless to say, there were again mistakes! They also pointed out, that the company reserves the right to change the annual charge on the 3rd anniversary of this contract! What contract? How can it be a contract when only one person signs it? So I called the company and explained this situation to Claudia, who had no clue what I was talking about and after nearly 30 minutes she said she will call me back. Nothing happened and after 3 days I left a message on someone's phone, since nobody answered. I get a call back 2 days later, from you guessed it right! Tyler. He apologized for the bad experience and he will take care of it. That was over 2 weeks ago. We still have carpenter bees and no signed contract! I left messages on the phone he called from, but nothing in return. So, for all you people who wanted a review, make sure you read all reviews and ask lots of questions!! I am glad for those who had no problems and good service, which is what we had with our previous company; but unfortunately, after 20 years, they closed shop. Apex was suggested by a friend and neighbor, who found them to be good enough to recommend. We were just the unlucky ones.

We had European Hornets in the attic of our home and hired Apex to come out and exterminate them. The exterminator came out and treated the nest with powder to make them leave the nest. This did not work, the hornets made a larger nest in the same place. He said to call back if they were not gone by Friday, and we called back. They treated the nest once again for free. But their contract states within 30days of treatment, additional treatments are $75.00 half of the original price. OK, the next week rolls around and the hornets are still very active and angry. They have now made the nest so large that they have pushed a board out a inch or two from the eave. I called Apex and told them I wanted to speak with the manager because according to my research you have to kill these hornets or else they were going to eat through your wood into your house. In fact we had two hornets in the house during the time I waited for the manager to call me back. The managers name is Tyler. Well after two weeks and two messages I gave up and hired Gregory Pest Solutions. They came out, treated the nest only 1 time and in 3 days they were all dead. In fact they even charged less than Apex. And they have a 30 day guarantee instead of additional charges. I am still trying to get a refund from Apex. They guarantee 100% satisfaction on their website. Not true!

This company is terrible. A few years ago, a guy named Austin sold and installed a dehumidifier at my home. I recently put my house on the market for sale. The inspector told me that the vapor barrier only covered 70% and there was no dehumidifier. I tried to contact the owner with no answer. I just found oit that the guy Austin is the manager and owners son. I have talked to a few other people that have had the same experience i had with this company. You would be wasting your time and money with these con artists. Then they will not call you back to help you. This company is just horrible.

What an absolutely awful experience. We bought a home that has had regular quarterly service with Apex for years. The sellers' regular service occurred a few days before closing, and we hired Apex and had them spray inside and out on the day of closing. We have wince called them back several times for issues with silverfish and now roaches!!! I talked to a manager who sent someone out same day, but he came 2 hours early so I wasn't there to tell him where I needed him to spray and to ask him to do more than just spray! So I called back that same day and the woman said she would speak to the manager and call me back. I never got a call back so I called again. She assured me that the manager would call me before 5:30. That was yesterday, and still no call today. It's been two days and I still haven't gotten a call back and just found another roach strolling through my living room! Whenever I can finally get hold of someone I'm going to be cancelling my contract and demanding my money back for not holding up their end of the contract. What a terrible company.

Terrible service! September 2016, I wanted to get termite coverage for the house that I just bought. The previous owners had termite coverage through Apex so I called and set up an appointment. One of their personnel (a general manager) came to the house and we discussed that the house was covered through them with the previous owners. I was told that I could roll-over the coverage for the house into my name by just call their secretary and pay the $125 yearly renewal charge over the phone and the service would continue for another year. I did so and then asked for a receipt/proof of coverage (bond), in which I was told that the secretary will complete the paperwork and mail it out to me. A month later, still no bond, so I called their secretary and she said that she would mail it right out. A month later, still no bond, called their secretary again, told her that I hadn’t received my bond yet, was told that she would mail it right out to me. Waited another month, but still no bond. I called the secretary and asked to speak to the general manager, was told that he was in a meeting and that she would have him call me right back as soon as he was out of the meeting. Never got called back. A month later, I sent an email directly to the general manager, he responded and said that he would “address this with the office first thing in the morning.” Never heard back and never received my bond. A month later, I call him directly and discuss this matter with him, was told that he would have their secretary email me the bond first thing in the morning. Never got an email with the bond attached to it. Needless to say, I will not be doing any more business with Apex.

Worked for this company. Great employees but managment needs to be a little better at some things. As far as pest control goes great product. I was relieved of my duties due to a emergency situation. @ Apex we have a 0 policy on calling customers. My power had accidently been shut off and I had to be home for the Power company to turn it on and didn't have time to wait. Called the office and the office ladies were to busy to call the customer for me so I called and got the appt moved so I could get home to have my power restored. Well the next day managment found out and gave me lip for it. I did my job that Friday and came in on 1-18-2016 and I was fired for calling my customer and several other instances I wasn't aware of.
