The Best Pest Control in Charleston! Honest and Fast!

I have asked repeatedly since Oct/Nov 2016, to be provided with my documentation for paying an $1100.00 termite bond from this company. It has been a complete nightmare with this company. There have been at least 6-8 employees come and go and every time I actually get through to someone, they have no idea what I am talking about. No one will hep me with my required documents and they will not return my phone calls or emails. I have left the owner multiple calls over the last several months and sent emails to the company and owner. As of today, I still have not received my documents. I am under the belief that the service was never done and they committed fraud and theft. I would never recommend them.

Anchor Pest Management in Charleston SC takes care of our home on James Island and also our friends homes in West Ashley and downtown Charleston. We've had other pest control companies but Anchor is the best. We've been living in Charleston for over 10 years and have been through multiple termite and pest control companies and Anchor just far outdoes all of them. They've gone into our attic and other areas of the house when the other pest management companies said no or wanted to charge us additional. They're exceptionally customer focused, nice and extremely thorough. We strongly recommend Anchor Pest Management for termite and other pest control problems and we recommend them to neighbors that have switched and our friends and other family members here in Charleston. Anchor Pest Management was recommended by another pest control company for a termite inspection and treatment. Jennifer was the person we encountered setting up our first appointment. She has been very pleasant, professional and helpful in solving our termite problem. She assured me the technician she was send for the inspection, Robert, would be very thorough. He was. Robert arrived for our inspection appointment promptly and ready to go to work. He explained each step and was, as Jennifer said he would be, thorough. After explaining the services his company offers and that Jennifer would contact us with a quote, he offered suggestions for things I could do to better secure our home from these pest. What a delight! Just moved to the area and needed to get set up for pest control and termite control services. The sales guy (James), came out and gave me a a very thorough presentation and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. He spent about an hour at my house, whereas other companies I received estimates from were trying to rush me through their presentations and were pushing to get me to buy their services. They were friendly and not pushy at all, which I liked very much. Although the office did not get back to me the day of the sale, they did call me the next day and apologized for the delay. Apparently they are very busy, but I can see that by the level of professionalism and knowledge they exude. I would recommend them highly, as I felt like I could trust them and that they would take care of my house and my family!

First of all, poor communication with their office from the beginning. They did not protect my home and I got termites. The SC Dept of Pesticide Regulation did an investigation and the report found signs of negligence. I had to tear apart my entire kitchen to repair the damage (all cabinets, kitchen sink, granite countertops, everything). Anchor Pest Management was not empathetic to my situation at all and even tried to place the blame on me, saying the termites came from pavers I installed. They offered me $350. It was obvious they either did not care about me, or they did not have the capacity to help me. There are several other superior Pest Companies in Charleston. If you come across this one, KEEP LOOKING!

Mosquitoes are gone. Biting gnats aka No-See-ums are gone. I just retired from military and had a hard time deciding to live here with the noseeums. Mosquito Sniper is a part of Anchor Pest and they do a fantastic job. I've been using AnchorPest for over a year and have had no bugs in the house. We've enjoyed life outside the screened porch all summer. Last summer I was tore up with bites. We have been treated for the mosquitoes in the back yard and that has eliminated the noseeums too. Thank goodness. And the price is right! My thanks to Karl and his team for giving me my backyard back!

Very knowledgeable and friendly people. I have been using them for close to 9 years now. I own a Hardwood Flooring company and know good service when I see it. They did go though a tough spell finding someone able to handle the phones but have corrected that. Even during that time my service was never interrupted and they always showed up. The new lady is awesome! Very fast to respond to calls and quick to answer any questions. They haven’t missed a beat on my part. They are the best!

They came once for the initial visit and everything seemed great. However, they missed the first quarterly service and did not return phone calls when we called to inquire. When we finally did get a hold of someone, they said they would look into it but surprise surprise, never heard from them again. Avoid this company if you can, there are many other pest service companies in the area.

I made 2 appointments last week. One was to remove a critter from a house today and the other was to spray for gnats and mosquitos at another house this Friday. Easy enough, right? Nope. Not only was I stood up for the first appt today, but I had to call 3 times just to figure out what was going on. After speaking with a young girl on the phone explaining to her that I had been stood up, she said she would figure out what was going on and call me back (this was after I left a voicemail and sent an email too with no response from Anchor Pest Management). Nope. An hour later I called again and she completely forgot she spoke with me, then reluctantly explained to me that the technician was sick and not at work. I explained to her that someone from her company should have called me hours ago to let me know that my appt was canceled. I don't think she understood nor did she possess the skills necessary for customer service because all she could say was "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" over and over instead of escalating my call to management to come to some sort of a resolution. I went ahead and canceled my other appt for this Friday and she just let me. I guess this company doesn't like making their customers happy and cannot hire reliable employees. I would not advise anyone to use this company. Yet another Charleston business that cannot even communicate with their customers. Sad.

I unfortunately have to give a two star rating. I have been a customer for 4 yrs now and feel the company has gone through so many clerical employees in the past year that I keep getting calls for quarterly service when I just had it done or I am not up for it. Today it happen again. I received a call to schedule and I had to inform the girl I just had service at the end of April and paid by check as I always to, giving the check to the technician that comes. They also sent someone the last time without me being home and they just sprayed outside, then I received a bill. I asked when did they spray because I was away and had not been home for weeks at the time it was done? Nor did I give an okay to come when a message was left the day before stating they were sending someone the next day. Not enough notice in my opinion. I was also told the end of last year that they only spray the outside unless there is an issue inside? Really? I was never told that before, the tech would always spray. This last visit the tech was late, I was given a morning appointment and the tech did not show up to early afternoon. When the tech came in she asked if I wanted her to spray inside too. Well of course isn't that the service I am paying for like I have in the past? Second question from her was how was I paying. I stated by check like I always too. I am really disappointed personally how this company has so many communication issues in the past year. I thank them for the service over the years but feel it is time to find another one.

Professional and thorough! We had a bad roach infestation that a national company couldn't even put a dent in until we came across Anchor Pest! Their tech (james) was very clear on what he was going to do and very thorough. Did exactly what he said he was going to do and took his time. He spent at least 45 minutes on the interior and then finished on the exterior. He already set us up for a 10 day follow up, since these type of roaches I guess need a more frequent treatment until they are gone. We set up a reoccurring service and feel confident that this company can handle our problem! Their reviews are spot on based on our experience.

I called today asking about their services as I needed someone I can trust as I have a second home in Isle of palms SC. Spoke with a very professional young lady, Jennifer. She informed me of all of their services that they provide and I was thoroughly impressed by her knowledge and professionalism! I was hesitant at first, as this is my vacation home in which I only get to visit a few times a year due to my busy business schedule. However, after speaking with Jennifer in the office my hesitation and worries were put at ease as I feel confident that anchor pest control will fulfill all my needs! I called around to several companies, as I am a person who likes to feel out the best before making a final decision. After speaking with Jennifer, I feel confident in my choice to use them for all my services needed. I’m not one to usually write reviews about companies unless it was a bad experience, but felt they needed a shout out for their professionalism on the phones and knowledge with any services I may need done in the near future!!
