Several years ago they came to the door promising - promising to get rid of spiders (I am an arachnophobe so this was huge). No other company I researched would make this promise. They have kept their word! I have on two occasions seen spiders in my house since and I just call them - they come right out, spiders are gone (along with all the other creepy crawlies). They are always friendly, polite, efficient, and give notice when they're coming.

We have a huge wasp issue that traps aren't dealing with, so I researched exterminators online. I prefer to do business with locally-owned companies. I called yesterday (Friday) and received a call back from Glenn about an hour later. He explained in detail what they do and how often they do it. Their pricing was much more affordable than I was expecting, and most importantly, they scheduled a tech to come out the very next day (today, Saturday). This was important because my wife is allergic to stings. Ron, the tech, was very courteous and professional. He called ahead to let us know he was on his way, and he arrived in the time he specified. He was very thorough with his explanation of what he used and how it worked. He treated our garage and our home with the spray and a granular product, and he hit all the nooks, crannies, and crevices. As he was spraying I could see the wasps getting as far away as they could. It's rare I give a top rating from the get-go. This company has earned it due to the promptness of their return call, the speed in which they scheduled our treatment, the immediate effect it had on the wasps, and their professionalism. Based on this first experience, I would recommend Pointe for critter control. I have high expectations from companies I choose to do business with, and so far, I am not disappointed.

Bed bugs!!!! I cannot say enough about all of the technicians & representatives that I worked with from the Spokane Pointe location regarding my bed bug issue. I am sure I a missing someone, but Steve, Scott, , Curtis, Alex & Montana rock! Steve is the best. His responsiveness is second to none and was always available to answer my questions. All of the technicians that entered my home were pleasant, patient and addressed all of my concerns. I was in unchartered territory and getting ready for the treatment can be overwhelming and daunting. Steve helped me with all of the questions I had. The treatment process is long and these bugs play psychological warfare with your mind but Pointe did a fantastic job through the spray, heat & dusting process. Yes, I had a couple of 'straggler' bugs after the last treatment that I was able to capture but after contacting Pointe and showing them my bounty in plastic bags (as they instruct), they re-treated my rooms again just to make sure all the critters were eradicated. I am quite confident that these little buggers will now be destroyed and I thank Pointe for all of their hard work and effort. I mean, what a job they endure day after day dealing with these bugs. To all of you out there getting ready to deal with this strenuous task, listen to everything they tell you! Remove everything they tell to remove and put it outside, launder everything they tell you the way they tell you by putting items removed from the house in a clean plastic bag and immediately transporting it to the washer/dryer and disposing of that bag outside right away. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best money ever spent to get my piece of mind back.

Karla stopped by offering a great plan today. It’s the season where ants hatch and our North Tabor neighborhood sits on a super colony. I’ve been struggling with them everywhere (why are they in my closet and dresser!). Store bought products only work so well - I’ve been using Terro - and this month has been awful, ants everywhere, kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, basement. Irving & Kelly provided a fantastic inspection and treatment that is pet friendly and environmentally safe which is important since I have a dog. They addressed all of the areas I pointed out where we have problems. They promise to return in 30 days to make sure the initial treatment has worked correctly, apply a repellant and again seasonally. Plus I can call in if I have any problems throughout the year. Shortly after having my house treated, within days, we started finding sugar ants in multiple places around the kitchen and dining room areas. Just having had the house treated, we spent about a week thinking we could take care of the problem ourselves. But as most of you know those tiny sugar ants are persistent. So I made the call, I felt bad about asking them to return just weeks after having treated the house. They assured me this sometimes happens, and it was no problem to take care of it. Within two days of my call, a technician was back to tackle the problem. He was incredibly thorough inside and out. And I appreciated his patience and answering all of my questions and putting me at ease. In the three years, we have been with Pointe Pest Control. I have a bee problem... Who to call? Hmmmm. I’ve seen a few trucks for Pointe Pest Control around. I’ll give them a try. Wow, I was talking with a real person. Rob, the sales person, asked a few questions about what creepy crawlies and flying menaces I was wishing to eradicate and then quickly suggested a solution to the problem. I found Rob to be upbeat, funny and willing to listen as I explained. Within minutes, of reaching a verbal agreement on the services to be provided, I had a bid/contract in my email. When I called with a couple questions, Rob responded almost immediately and put my mind at ease. I signed the contract. Dave, the technician, showed up the same day I signed the contract. He asked me to walk him around show him any specific areas of concern and then he got right to work. I’m not sure what I expected but Dave was quick. Spray, granules and brushes came out of the truck did their assigned task and disappeared quickly back out of sight. The whole outside took only 15-20 minutes. Wow. Dave was very respectful and a good listener. I appreciated both Rob & Dave’s concern that they represent their company well and provide me with a good experience, which they did. Thanks Rob & Dave.

Pointe responded promptly to our need for help with mice, and took our money quickly enough, but we didn't get a tech to our home for another 4-5 days. It seems there is not good communication in this company, or they don't read each other's notes. The man that did the assessment said we probably had deer mice. The tech that came out to lay traps, etc. didn't see this or take note of it, so didn't set the traps accordingly. The second tech noticed the problem a week later, but this is almost two weeks out from our original contact with Pointe. Things started happening after the second tech's visit, and we eventually got the problem resolved with our own traps and their bait. The last guy to come kept talking down his fellow employees, saying how he didn't understand the traps they used, etc. It was annoying to go over the same thing with every tech that came through. Just read the notes, people! Overall, I'm not very impressed with this company. They do give good reminders and communicate well with their customers, just not each other.

I have never been more turned off by a salesperson. This young kid rings my doorbell, goes into my backyard, and attempts to come INTO MY HOUSE. We have been extremely satisfied with Pointe Pest Control. We were having trouble with spiders, and just couldn’t seem to get rid of them by spraying ourselves. Richard from Pointe was very knowledgeable and assured us they could take care of the issue. Initially we saw an increase in spiders after treatment, but I think that was them coming out looking for food that was no longer readily available, because by the second treatment we weren’t seeing them anymore and no longer have bugs of any kind. In addition to that, we developed a mouse problem momentarily, that, thanks to Pointe, was resolved quickly, thank goodness! Their customer service was friendly and responsive to our call and a tech was sent out quickly to check things out. When the tech came he inspected the area and set up the necessary stuff, I don’t think we saw another mouse or signs of them within a few days. I definitely recommend Point Pest Control!

They are quick to take your money and when you have an issue they say they will call back and don’t... they tell you that you can call and get another spray done around the house if you see spiders for free during that month when I called $240 was pulled out of my account in one month when I was told $120.. The spray doesn’t keep spiders out. We have had huge spiders still. You’re better off getting the Bug spray at Walmart.

She was my service tech----AND NO ONE ELSE CAN HAVE HER--- today, who met me at our cabin on the Pend O'reille River near Newport, WA that we recently purchased, and did a thorough top-to-bottom cleansing/web removal/insect spray (interior & exterior) and bushes. I learned about bat behavior and preventative measures, and how destructive they can be on wood structures---something I never thought about. She also took the time to show me how to "look" for evidence of certain items and or material left behind, indicative of what "pest" is taking up residence on/in my cabin. I cant speak to the efficacy of the product as it has only just been applied, though spiders are already dying, but I can speak for the thoroughness and dedication of the tech that serviced my house. Christian was courteous, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and very informative. I would recommend this service.

So far so good! I put in a quote request online while sitting outside praying not to be stung by the wasps that have invaded my front porch. I received a few calls back to follow up and schedule a service. I was walked thru what would be done, what’s included, and the price explained thoroughly. The way they listed out everything included I was expecting several hundred dollars! But price was incredibly reasonable. They came out timely, provided professional service and listened to my concerns regarding my pets, 10 month old, and our problem areas. I went up stairs to open up the house after they left and already found a dead yellow jacket! I’m looking forward to enjoying our yard without having to worry about any of us (humans + pets) being stung, and no harmful chemicals to boot!!!

Technicians are thorough. Call center is polite and responsive. They do follow ups to make sure bugs are gone. However they show up at the wrong times. I scheduled for 2-4 p.m. they came at 8am. And they came for a follow up without calling first. Obviously we had to reschedule. If you work from home, and don't have to move everything out if your kitchen than they are great.

I found Ron to be informative, efficient, polite and effective. Pricing is fair. No reason to complain or be displeased, I am definitely a repeat customer. UPDATE: I no longer use them, for they came out and wanted to charge me a full service charge but he only came out to deliver and place some mice capturing devices. Which is part of their membership services if you pay the high dollar amount to be a member then you get these little services for free, but they wanted to charge me the full service price as if they had done more. When I got the bill and ask him what was going on they tried to claim that he had done a full service and that it was between some date and some date of a beginning of the month date and some screwy Ray tag logic excuse for trying to charge me for nothing, so I refuse to charge and fired them.

I've had a mystery smell in my house for 3 weeks. After a central-air contractor guy did a thorough search and couldn't find anything, I called Pointe Pest Control. Within just a couple hours, Ryan Stimson from Pointe came out to my house. He was incredibly kind and professional, and looked everywhere - attic, crawlspace, etc. During his visit, he found the biggest scariest spiders and was really nice and calming to me when I basically freaked out.
