Called there to inquire about them coming in to check on a scratching noise in my wall on second floor (was almost positive it was not a bird , bat or squirrel) . According to the lady that answered the phone I would have to be sure it was a mouse/mice. Why? Isn’t that what you call them for? If I wasn’t afraid o go up myself to check the attic then why would I call them? I would just set traps. Duh? That’s what I wanted them to do. I am afraid of mice etc. i just wanted them to check my attic for mice droppings and then treat but they obviously didn’t need/want the job. Seems to be a trend these days with some companies. I will NEVER call them EVER. Lady on the phone was not nice her tone and kept making excuses then putting me on hold. First was it a cape cod home or two story? Two story ok that was fine. Was the attic accessible? Yes. Ok but then the last excuse they needed to know for sure exactly what it was. I can’t see through walls. Oh and also ask me if it was for sure scratching not some humming from electronic device. Omg. I said thank you and hung up. What a joke! Part 2 REVIEW: This is now my response to the owners response of my review. You were rude putting me on hold several times and I told you I was almost positive it was a mouse/mice as stated in my first review. I also forgot another one of your excuses as you came back from putting me on hold several times, it was you didn’t have anybody in the area with a ladder. I said they didn’t have to come that day and I would wait till someone had a ladder and even offered a step stool or ladder to get in my attic. May I suggest that anybody that calls your company be told right at the get go (not put on hold many times) that unless you positively know what you are dealing with you can’t come out. I am not an expert on critters insects etc that’s why we as lay person call exterminators (aka experts). Maybe that is your tone on the phone all the time but it didn’t come across friendly from the time you answered (my opinion). I understand now you don’t handle wildlife but it could of been told as soon as I called and nicely. I had someone else come out and they took care of it and it was a mouse as I said when I first called. I will be giving them a positive review. Thanks!

I want to give Hall's the highest recommendation for professionalism, knowledge AND honesty. I thought I had a nest of yellow jackets or wasps underneath the siding on my house. The estimator came right in the middle of the two hour window. Before he'd accept payment, he donned his "bee suit" and inspected the swarming insects to make sure what they were. When he saw they were bees, he explained to me, that because of how they make their home, this would be a much more complicated job and could not even be done that day, as it required their bee specialist and was a much bigger deal. When I spoke to the woman who runs Hall's office, she even gave me two alternative names of bee specialists, one who is an exterminator and one who keeps bees and might relocate the hive. I decided to go with a beekeeper who's not in the exterminating business but who regularly relocates hives (not free, but reasonably priced). For their honesty and professionalism, I would use Hall's anytime in the future that I have different insect problem, and highly recommend them to any homeowner visiting this page to check them out.

Since joining up with Hall's our insect troubles have all but disappeared. Their Techs are personable and polite.They constantly do everything possible to make their customers happy. Ever since we began using them, our pest issue has vanished. As far as I'm concerned Hall's is my exclusive pest control company. Keep up the great work folks!!!

I had a severe yellow jacket infestation in my basement. They had nested in our foundation and were beginning to intrude on our living quarters. Halls had a technician sent out on a holiday with less than one days notice. The tech was on time, friendly, and accommodating. He even had time to explain to me the extent of the infestation as well as how and why they were nested in my home. Office and field customer service are far superior to any other pest service company I’ve used. Would highly recommend!

I live in Fayette County and just bought a new home. We were dealing with so many bugs everyday. I had Halls Pest Control come out today, and I haven't seen an insect since! I'm so impressed to see immediate results. The tech was so friendly and had solutions to problems I didn't even know I had. It has been a few years since Jim inspected for and found termites at the house. There has never been a reinfestation but the reasonable yearly warranty fee gives us peace of mind in case it ever needs retreated. It will also be helpful to have that in place when we need to sell the house.

Jim did an inspection for a home we wanted to buy. He did a thorough job inside and out. We had noticed a soft spot in the floor under the refrigerator and during the inspection he found a dead termite swarmer. He had already located termites in the corner of the laundry room near the kitchen addition. Unable to see under the kitchen floor he recommended the home inspector- who was there at the same time- put the information about the soft floor in his report. He did and as a result we were able to negotiate a reduction in the price of the house that paid for the floor repair. It turned out to be termites and carpenter ants. Very pleased with the excellent job that saved us money and also from what could have been an unpleasant surprise!
