We had Budget Pest Control out for a mouse in our kitchen and thousand leggers in the gameroom. Their office staff was top notch! They answered all my questions, told us the price before they came out, and didn't push a bunch of stuff we didn't want to buy or need! The techs always show up on the day they say they will, they do exactly what they told us they would, and leave. It's a great company, I would recommend them! My wife just told me they didn't make us sign a contract for the monthly service either! That's worth it right there!

I was very pleased with my service on 6/18/2019. The service man who came to my home was very nice and informative. The situation seemed to be under control. I was told that an email would be sent out prior to my warranty expiring. I received an email on 8/23/2019, stating that my warranty was ABOUT to expire. I called the number provided to extend my treatment and continue using Budget Pest to service my home. I was told that my warranty had expired on 8/17/2019. I questioned this as I had not received any notice prior to expiration. The man on the phone told me that the company sends out those email "AROUND" the expiration date. A week after is unacceptable! I followed up my phone call with an email and still have yet to receive any response. I needed the extended warranty as I had presence of insects almost immediately around when the warranty was "ABOUT" to expire. I refuse to give business to a company that is unprofessional when it comes to keeping their word. I would highly consider using another company or make sure that they follow up on their promises.

Pushy. They're not what they used to be. It was the dead of winter and I was extremely busy at work and when I didn't schedule asap for an appointment within the next couple of weeks, they warned I would have to pay the startup fees again. My home is an exterior treat 99% of the time and I have seen no bugs in the snow and none indoors! I had far better luck with the last owner! The service techs did their job but for all I know they were spraying water. I don't believe I had some special mutant bugs but in- between (warranty) services had to keep happening when the bug population didn't decrease as expected. I was doing a better job with Ortho and wasp spray! I used Budget at multiple homes over the past decade. I used to be satisfied. They used to give better results and not pressure me when my life got hectic! That is why I stayed with them. The new ownership is why I won't be going back! I noticed the same form letter replies on the bad reviews but they seemed to have stopped replying to the reviews after so long. The 2 star review is basically because the techs showed up when they were supposed to. Even with newer looking equipment, half of the time the big sprayer wasn't working so they were trying to spray my eves from the ground with that. Why was I paying full price??

We are on the recurring treatment plan for mice. I am supposed to have a technician coming to my house once a month, or once every other month, to check and add more poison etc. This isn’t happening on a regular basis. Appointments are scheduled with no warning, at random. There is never a consistent day or time. We must call right away to either cancel or reschedule to avoid a charge, The technicians are nice. But, aside from laying poison; they do nothing to prevent the mice from coming into our home. No holes are sealed or fixed to prevent entry. We have sealed bait boxes outside. The concept was: the mice will enter through the hole, take the bait and go into the woods and die. Well, either the boxes are empty because no one has been here in awhile, or this plan isn’t working. I just saw a live mouse in my basement. Also, please don’t say I’m a customer. I am!

I've used Budget Pest Control two times so far and am very happy with their work. Last year I had them out to treat for ants and rodents. When I called the office the guy was proffesional and answered all of my questions. He was able to schedule a treatment for the same week. We knew we had some type of bird in our vent above our stove in the kitchen. We heard flapping and scratching. We would called a different pest control company first and explained exactly what we were hearing and they said it sounded like a bird. When they came out they informed us they did not do that type of work. So we called Budget and when Glen got here he already knew what type of problem we were having. He immediately got on his ladder and looked down the vent and told us it looked like a bird had been in there but was no longer there. He put a different type of vent cover on. Don’t use this company! Total rip off. Called about bed bugs. We are clean people and did everything we were told. After initial treatment of $500 the bed bugs didn’t go away. According to them we Had to have them come back for warranty every month. For 100$ each time. Finally gave up with them. Do not use.

Paid Budget Pest Control to treat the house for Carpenter Bees. They charged $149 and said the Bees were not active. A couple of weeks later, I called the saying that the bees were still there but they asked for another $149 claiming the warranty had expired. Was referred by home services in area. They were first to call back . Dog had fleas, I tried to control on own. After coming and not getting rid of them. I was 3 days past 30 day warranty. Which didn't matter because they wanted 60 a month and didn't work the first time. I'll try demetrius earth and use same active ingredients they use and diy with bombs . Don't use this service

Excellent. They have been to my house three times for a horrible outdoor ant infestation. The first two visits they used the normal product and the ants didn't seem fazed much. The third visit got a stronger product and now I am happy to report that there are no (living) insects in my yard. Fingers crossed that it lasts. The service person has always arrived in time and explained everything thoroughly. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I needed an exterminator due to an abundance of mice living in my basement. I had tried everything from D-Con to sticky traps with no success. I had even posted an eviction notice that they totally ignored. I finally called Budget Pest Control (they answered the phone on Sunday) and was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The technician that came to my home was a very polite and knowledgeable gentleman named Scott who took his time studying my home to determine the points of entry and traffic patterns followed by the mice. He then strategically placed the bait where it would most likely be eaten, taking care to keep it away from my lazy cat who refuses to do what cats are supposed to do when they encounter a mouse. Scott even helped me move my refrigerator so I could clean up the stash of cat food that had been hidden behind it. I also found their prices to be very reasonable in comparison to other chain exterminators. I highly recommend Budget Pest Control and would use them again (although I hope I never need to).

However, the fleas have not be eradicated after the extermination, and asked if they can return to help. They responded that they can't return for another 2 weeks. I just had two yellow jacket nests that the technician (Scott) took care of in one shot. The bees were gone after an hour of treatment. Scott also treated for mice and they are slowly disappearing. The mice are not gone yet but Scott explained everything to us and we have a 60 day warranty. The mice should be gone after two weeks, if not they can retreat. We just bought this house and I am glad Budget Pest Control helped us out.

I cannot say enough for this company. I called them on Labor Day immediately after I found an enormous wasp nest in my basement. They arrived within a few hours. I never thought I would get anyone to remove the nest on the same day that I called, let alone on Labor day. Amazingly, they came and took care of business. They are priced right and know what to do. I recommend anyone to use them. I wouldn't call anyone else.

For now, I will only give two stars for the simple fact when I called to set my first appointment up I had told them that I wanted to purchase the extended warranty for $125 and my husband (Peter Schmitt ) whos name the bill is under paid the bill when they came out thinking that the warranty was included in the price since that's what we had told them when i called and then on top of that when I had them come back two weeks later the technician told us that someone would be calling us about the warranty we had...Well, no one ever called and when I called back in another two weeks to have them come out for the third time, I was told that the 30 day warranty had expired and I had to pay $135 a month in order for them to come back out and was told I didn't purchase the extended warranty (which from my understanding I already had because that's what I requested and was told by the technician someone would be calling me about it...)And then, when I asked since them, since you didn't charge me for the extended warranty like I had asked for can I pay the $125 now and was told no because it has been 31 days...like really?? They are the ones that screwed up and because I called 1 day after the 30 days I couldn't still purchase it and now have to pay monthly??? I wanted that extra warranty for a reason so that I could make sure they were really gone before cancelling my service but now I have to pay monthly so if I go without treatment for longer than a month (to make sure that the problem is really gone without no treatment ) if the problem comes back I'll have to pay the original price for it all over again ....

Avoid. You get what you pay for. Actually, I still overpaid for what I got. In the Fall of 2018, I had this company come to my house to treat for recurring mice in the basement. I wish I were home when they arrived, but the technician was hosted by my wife. They placed mouse poison around the perimeter of my basement and first floor outside. Mind you, these poisons are readily available in granules, packets, or cubed form for pennies a piece online. (Search for DIY pest control.) They did not help my wife seal points of entry, nor did they even do much of anything to look for any entry points. How is this comprehensive pest control?? Here we are, several months later, and I have an obvious continuing problem. I've found several dead deer mice in the basement, so they're obviously eating the warfarin. There are mouse pellets everywhere. There are pieces of eaten insulation strewn about. And the basement has a faint smell of urine. And yet, because Budget Pest Control did nothing to investigate where the mice are coming in, much less seal the area(s), this will be a nonstop cycle of replacing poisons/traps. I'm sure Budget Pest Control is in favor of this, as they might expect recurring business. However, from myself, and everyone I encounter who might have a pest problem of their own, they will not be calling on Budget Pest Control. I wish I could warn more people more effectively. I doubt this review will help much, as most people will find the good reviews outweigh the bad. Total paid was somewhere in the area of $200 - $250 for an approx one-hour visit and--at most--five dollars' worth of Warfarin packets. I'd have happily paid for the expertise of a technician that would have helped solve the problem, but instead I had someone lay down poison the same as I could've done (for MUCH less) with no other value added. I am now looking for a reputable and professional company who understands that half-measures don't work. I have no idea how Budget Pest Control has so many positive Google reviews; that's why I chose them. I'm thinking the reviews were bought. A NOTE TO BUDGET PEST CONTROL: Please don't respond to this post by pretending to want to get in touch and fix things. I would hope most people see it as a hollow gesture to appear to be service oriented on a public review website.

I had them come out twice and there’s no difference. Original review: Budget came out three weeks ago to spray for carpet beetles. Unfortunately, we kept seeing them. They were great about coming back out and spraying again. The techs were very kind and knowledgable. Hopefully this most recent spray does the trick and this wasn’t a waste of money. We recently took a service from budget pest control for bed bug. As per the contract they will apply pest control spray in the entire house twice in a month and provide a warranty for a month.We suffered bed bug byte after the 1st pest control was done. When called we were being told that it is pretty normal and we will see similar activity until 2nd service which will be done after 14 days. As per the representative we may even see activity after 2nd service and if it is after a month we need to pay $100 for each service. Please be aware that they do not disclose all these hidden costs when u initially call them for the service. The telephone representatives are very rude and they will not listen to the issue we are facing. They will make it very clear that any servicing after the 2nd one will not be covered in the same price even if the issue persists. Please note that when we initially contacted them for the service, we were being told that within a month if we experience bed bug byte even after the 2nd servicing they will provide more servicing to ensure that bed bugs are eradicated.

The drill holes in the concrete areas for treatment are small, and after refilled, are barely visible. The treatment process doesn't disturb the landscape. I have used Budget for two years now. I called them late on a Sunday night. I received a response by 8:15 am Monday morning, and technician Ron was there by 2:15 pm that day. He explained everything that he was doing and was professional and polite. I live in a rural location next to a wooded area so a critter or two sneaks into my home in the fall. After one treatment last year, no more critters. I feel that it is money well spent for quality service that I can count on.
