I cannot stress enough what a God-send it was to have Andy pick up the phone when I called Pure Environmental, in an anxious state, believing I brought bed bugs back from a trip to Ashland. He was thoughtful, rational, human, kind, and very, very expert. We talked for a long while about my particular scenario, and in the end, after a careful analysis, and many questions, he told me he didn't think I had BB's, and gave me invaluable advice on how to handle what he suspected I had. I followed his advice and so far I seem to be in the clear. With so much drama and catastrophizing around this sort of thing, Andy should be on a world panel or some kind of national BB circuit. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and decent. The world could use a good dose of his rational counsel around these concerns. And if I ever suspected such a problem again, knowing about Andy and this place I know would make all the difference between a traumatizing ordeal VS an inconvenience with a clear solution.

I don't want to sound overly dramatic, but Andy is a miracle worker. We had tenants in our rental property that decided to run a pet sitting business out of our house. My husband contacted this company as well as other contractors when we first discovered cat urine all throughout the home we had just purchased. Pure environmental was the only company to get down on their hands and knees and investigate where damage was located. Andy, the owner, was the one to do this and he was able to show us places we were unaware of. Not only was his knowledge base of this type of damage phenomenal, but his bid came in much lower than the other guys. My husband hired him and we were so glad we did. We stopped by on numerous occasions during the cleaning of our house and each time we were met with courteous and professional staff. Andy’s team was able to fully restore our home to better than the original condition. This company is trustworthy, liable, and really good at what they do.

I cannot say enough good things about Andy or his calm, knowledgeable, and thorough problem-solving approach. He was suggested by another local restoration company who knew they wouldn't be a good fit for my situation. In the very first phone call he was incredibly generous with his expertise and his theories about what had created the odor in my house (and why), and he explained how he would solve it himself. At no point did I feel pressured or even coaxed into a sale or a service. Later that same day, he made a visit to the property to drop off some equipment and did a full walkthrough. He checked the furnace and every room, and made 100% sure that he stood behind his initial theory (which turned out to be correct). By the time he left, I had all my questions answered (including a few I hadn't known to ask) and I felt so much better. Although I hope not to need his services again, I would gladly be a repeat customer and I'll send all of my friends his way.

I used Pure Environmental to remove mold in my attic. After searching around online and having multiple contractors come out to bid the work, I chose this company because they were by far the most professional and communicative in comparison to all the others. During the estimating process Andy came out not just once, but twice to make sure his quote was accurate and inclusive. He made me feel like my problem was important, and took the time to explain exactly the process of what the work was and why things would happen. Andy was always available by phone and email to answer questions (even though I'm sure we were plenty annoying!) and we appreciated how much communication he kept with us throughout the process. Once they were contracted and out doing the work, they were quick, quiet and respectful of my house. Everything went as he described it would before we contracted him. I was also impressed that once everything was finished I could see no trace that they were there - so clean! I'm very pleased with the outcome, the level of professionalism and the friendliness of all the employees who worked in my house.

When we began to smell 'the smell', my wife and I were lost as to who to call. So what did we do? Nothing. Over the next month, the smells got worse. Turns out there was a cat or a family of cats that destroyed our crawlspace. Every time the furnace turned on the smells infiltrated the living space through the vents. Andy and his crew came to fix the problems and were the best home service crew we've ever had in our home. They worked with our insurance company. They were clean, professional, polite and thorough. The complete gutting and reinstallation of my vapor barrier, insulation and vents was done in 2 days. They went above and beyond the call of duty. Above all, the smells and cats are gone. It is a pleasure now to walk into my own home, free of the cat vermine and it's disgusting smells. Thank you Andy and crew. I would highly recommend anyone to utilize your services.

Andy and crew worked tirelessly to remediate our homes attic mold. During the bidding process Andy came prepared and laid out the job requirements and a accurate time line for each stage of the job. The crew worked till 7 pm one night to finish a stage of the job and I appreciated effort to not leave work half done. The crew was clean and respected my home. Customer service was above my expectations. Andy was accountable and easily reached over phone or email (even responding to emails late into the evening). These are guys do quality work and I'd use them again.

Andy and his team are the best! When we first bought our house, the previous resident had let their animals use the entire house as their toilet. We tried cleaning it ourselves but it was hopeless. Then I found Pure Environmental, and they saved our house! They did a wonderfully thourough job and there have been absolutely no residual odors ever since. They even noticed a place that most likely had mold in the wall because of the pooling urine, and they were correct, it did—They were able to remove and replace the moldy wall, and did a great job at that too. We have since hired them two more times, once for odors and leaking in the back outbuilding, and again most recently to help us with a flooding basement. They always get the work done quickly, it’s always done as promised, and they never try to pad the bill with extra unnecessary work (as we had others try to do in their estimates). Andy and his team are the best, and you should not hesitate to hire them!

I emailed a message to Andy at the Portland, Oregon office. Letting them know I was in need of help for my kitten that urinated on my couch. It was brand new and didn't want to trash it because of the smell, which was awful. He called me same day and quick immediately after me contacting them. He also instead of selling me on their services, let me know since it was a one time incident with my kitten to just buy the solution he recommends. Not only did he save me money but he also helped me by answering several questions over the phone. Even knowing he wouldn't make any profit off this. That same week I went out and bought it and it saved my couch! He was over the top helpful and I highly recommend him for your cleaning needs. If I ever run into a larger issue I will be calling them again.

Recently a small leak was discovered at the base of a wall in a retail space that I rent for a business that I own...This leak brought moisture to the base of some walls and the moisture started to grow some unwanted "stuff." I was unaware of this until Pure Environmental happened to be in the space, and noticed this and brought it to my attention. What appeared to be a small little thing actually could have grown into a pretty big problem, BUT instead Pure Environmental took control of the situation, and quickly and professionally fixed everything within two days. I felt so lucky to have had such a positive experience. They worked around the operating business schedule and came in during off hours to get the job done. They were honest, hard working, and knew what they were doing. I would HIGHLY recommend Pure Environmental for a variety of needs and situations.

I manage about 25 homes in the Portland metro area. Sometimes I get surprises as happened recently with a tenant moving out who owned cats. Briefly, the cement basement was disgusting with cat urine and odors. Andy and Pure Environmental talked me "off the ledge" so to speak. We hired Pure Environmental - Oregon to restore the interior of an ADU we own in N Portland following a small fire from a defective bath fan. There was a lot of smoke damage to surfaces and attic insulation along with some impact to floors and framing; also the complexity of interfacing with the current tenant and her insurance remediation company. Andy Eberly stepped right up and helped us understand the insurance claim process and provided a clear and fair estimate for the work. He was great to work with and really supported us in maximizing what could legitimately be covered by our insurance. His knowledge of this process was priceless. We took advantage of the disruption to completely upgrade the bathroom, floors and trim throughout the apartment. Andy and his crew did very clean and professional work - the end result was outstanding. During the process, Andy was both efficient and fun to work with, as was his entire crew. He's super relaxed, a fabulous communicator, and inspired a lot of confidence. We were consistently able to collaborate with Andy and crew to resolve technical challenges on the fly, always arriving at optimal solutions together. The new space is beautiful. As developers and property owners, we have never had such an easy, professional and enjoyable experience with a contractor as we did with Pure Environmental - Oregon. Super impressed!!

As a business person myself, I appreciate solid communication. From the beginning, Andy was an exceptional communicator. I explained the issue I have with a 14 year old female dog who doesn't always make it to her potty tray. Her tray, which has pee pads on it, sits on top of a floor that is covered in man-made tile. I was thoroughly cleaning up after her but some residual urine stayed in the grout lines. Additionally, the urine odor got into the home's air intake vent so when the furnace was in use, the smell of dog urine was permeating the house. Andy was able to come up with a workable plan at what I considered a very cost-effective rate. His employee, Nate, arrived on-time, was professional and thorough, so I was impressed! My house no longer smells like dog urine and I have a plan to eliminate any more dog pee in the grout lines. I'm a very happy client, will send referrals, and call again with any other issues!! :)
