They asked me to describe the termites that were at my house and then told me that they were wet wood termites and that I did not need them (Nature First) or any pest control That when I address the wet wood problems that it would take care of the pest problem. I so appreciate your quick availability in scouting out where the entry point was for rodents to enter into the wall of our townhome. Numerous people over the 17 years have been around the house looking at vents where the critters could enter, but only you were the one to capture the entry . . . the hot water pipe hole that enters into our home. The two traps you set . . . yes we got them all! In addition, Randy noticed the entry area was around the garage door opening, and suggested a person to correct that problem. We’re now sealed up as tight as a drum. Randy & Brent arrived just 48+ hours prior to the family arriving for Christmas Eve festivities. . . thank you for being so willing to come out on a Saturday so close to Christmas. Overpriced and misleading communication. Nature First charged us $325 to treat our home for fleas. They sprayed two 20oz-bottles of Alpine Flea Insecticide Aerosol with IGR (total value of $60). The entire treatment process took less than 30 minutes of their time... Lets do some math; $325 - $60 supplies = $265 for 30 min... that's $530/hr. Not a bad rate for them. Hopefully the treatment works!

I love Natures First! I have used them ever since I have moved into my NE home, for ants, rats and wasp nests. They are efficient, professional, and explain everything to me, as I usually ask a thousand questions. We have pets at home and they always make sure the treatments are safe for house pets as well as other beloved outside critters such as squirrels, birds etc. They are very quick to respond and even will take my payments over the phone as I am out of town often. Lizzy is my favorite. She always returns my calls as quickly as possible and makes sure everything is done to my satisfaction. Plus she is just a pleasure to talk to. Nature First is our go to pest control for sugar ants. From their first visit, years ago, to the most recent one last week their level of professionalism is consistent. They are helpful to answer questions, and leave the name of the product they use so we can do follow-up spot treatments on our own. They stand by their full house treatment for 6 months. The fact that their trucks are not labeled with "PEST CONTROL" keeps the visit more discreet. Pleased with our results we will gladly continue doing business with them.

Nature First Pest Control did an amazing job! I first started hearing some sounds in my attic a few months ago. After physically seeing a rat up there with my own eyes, I knew I needed to call someone. Joe from Nature First came out and spent a few hours at my property making sure that I didn't have any points of entry on the exterior, laid traps down in my attic and also sprayed for ants. We used Nature First Pest Control to help with the ever lingering problem of sugar ants. Newberg is NOTORIOUS for this and often times people said it was useless to try anything and that it was inevitably unavoidable. Our last stop out of desperation was using a pest control and after some research Nature First was our top choice! This morning I woke up and discovered some winged insects that looked like some sort of termite. As we have spent that last 10 years renovating our home, I was horrified. Some of my initial research started to point in an ominous direction. My next step was to find a pest control company that met some strict perimeters: (1) local business, (2) 20+ years in business, (3) A+ rating with the BBB, (4) natural & environmentally safe methods and (5) excellent customer reviews. Nature First met all of my criteria. I called on a Saturday morning--the owner answered the phone himself. Randy asked ALL THE RIGHT questions--he was able to determine from my description of the insects (where they were located & what they looked like) that we had was a harmless termite that was a result of a drainage problem. We have been working on our drainage dilemma so this made perfect sense. It was clear that Randy's objective was to be helpful regardless if that meant turning a profit. Randy's honesty and helpful information more than likely saved us what could have been a huge expense in the hands of a company with predatory business practices. I will spread the word!

Overall very knowledgeable, and very responsive! A delight to work with, however $85+ for a consultation was pretty steep. Especially considering there were no treatments performed, and the inspector was not prepared for a very tall house. Didn't touch the attic or the crawl space. Could not identify issue being experienced.

My fiancé and I are expecting a baby soon, we have a toddler and also just got a new kitten! About 2 months in, we find a flea on her and am not entirely sure of its origin. We act quickly and get her advantage as well as clean our apartment. 2.5 weeks later, another flea shows up. It's part of the life cycle, but I was very nervous and anxious about it. The whole things felt totally out of our hands. We treated her again and cleaned the apartment. I shopped for exterminators and stumbled upon Nature's First. I called and spoke to Randy who gave me very sound advice upfront and listened to my concerns. He then connected me to Lizzy, who was a pleasure to speak to! She was so kind and personable and really took the time to hear me out. Our phone calls were more of a conversation than a business transaction. She was sincere and explained to me exactly what would need to be done to take care of the fleas. She even offered more at a generously discounted price which was a huge relief for us. An appointment was made and they came the very next day and treated our apartment. I felt very relieved and less anxious overall. It may be too soon to tell, I don't think so, though. I haven't seen any fleas since! I'm so thankful to have put our trust in this company and to have done business with them. Thank you all so much!

Called several pest control places who turned me down because Newberg was out of their area. Then I found Nature First Pest Control and spoke with Lizzy who was amazing, and so accommodating. She had someone out to me first thing the next morning to spray for us. She answered every question I had and called to follow up with me a few days after. I hope to never have an issue like this again but if we do I will definitely skip the time and call Nature First Pest control asap.

I called Randy because I had seen dampwood termites in an exterior wall. I would hire him again in a heartbeat! I am personally a minimalist when it comes to the use of chemicals. I paid for a consultation in which he educated me about dampwood termites and gave advice specific to the location of the termites. He could have easily suggested treating, which I was inclined to do because I was so freaked out. That would have obviously been a greater expense for me. Instead, though, he helped me to develop a game plan which revolves around removing the dry rot---the source of the problem. He even referred me to some people in the field that he recommends. I am very grateful to have called him. And to think I chose the company because I liked the name! (Oh, and he has good reviews on Angie's List.)

They were great! I called for a termite inspection and they happened to be in the neighborhood so came over immediately. They were very knowledgeable and explained the different types of infestations that could occur. All in all a great experience and will call them again for future needs.

The day before the workers were scheduled to come and do work, we got a phone call from the company to tell us that the quote had nearly doubled (from $1295 to $1995)! (The initial quote was made by the first person from the company who spent quite awhile looking around the property, asking questions, etc.) This really seems unprofessional. But maybe they didn't want the job? Whatever, we cancelled the work. Not okay. [Added 5/15/19: We had one critter, not multiple "rats" and it left by itself, more or less, with some low cost intervention by my husband. Whew!]

I contacted Nature First on a Friday about a mysterious appearance of about 100 wasps in my living room. Randy listened to my situation; he made an appointment for the following Monday but strongly encouraged me to call back if I didn't see any wasps over the weekend, because it was probably a freak occurrence and I wouldn't need his services. I appreciated Randy's willingness to take the time to listen to my problem and his honesty as to whether I needed a service call. I will definitely call again if I have further pest control needs.
