Okay, so it sounds like I had a similar experience to several others. VERY pushy sales person who would not take no for an answer. Same techniques noted by others. We were getting ready to leave for dinner and after politely telling him we weren't interested for over 5 minutes we still literally had to walk past him while he kept talking to get to the car. But wait, there's more... I go out to mow my lawn the next morning and here he comes again. I tell him right away that I am not interested and don't want to waste his time or mine. HE KEEPS SELLING! Finally I tell him he "really needs to learn to read verbal and physical cues because now I am at the point where I am about to tell you to f-off." HE KEEPS SELLING! So yep, I had to tell him to get the f off my property to finally get rid of him. The weirdest thing is, I live in Lawrence Kansas. This site is the closest office to my city on Google so they must be sending people on the road now since it seems they have burnt so many bridges locally. My advice to you, start with f-off and just close the door in their face. Less stress that way.

I have used Armor Defense for a while. Since using them, I have had no invasions or even an occasional insect. My visit today went very well. Chris was very courteous and most professional. He introduced himself, then asked if any place needed special attention. Since I had no requests, he told me where he would treat. Without my asking, he sprayed around the outside of my storage shed. The first time they came out, everything was fine. The bugs died off, but I had schedule a new appointment a few weeks later when I started seeing bugs again. I never got a time for the appointment, just a day. The guy showed up this morning while I was in the shower, and got to work. I saw him through my front door camera, and asked him to wait a second while I dressed. He was gone when I was finished a few moments later. I called to find out what was going on, and he was very angry and defensive with me, he accused me of being able to hear him calling (my phone was muted since it was early in the morning), that I heard him at the door (I was in the shower, my kids were asleep) that I had to have heard the motor he was using (still in the shower) and my dogs were barking (still heard nothing over the shower). I finally learned how I would be able to reschedule, and then he started screaming at me again about he followed the proper procedures, and I had to hang up on him. So, two stars since the bugs came back so fast, they didn't give me a time to expect anyone, and since the guy was so mean, combative, and irrational.

The employees of this business threatened me and told me they would keep coming back to my home even after I told them to leave. Completely unacceptable behavior for door-to-door salesmen. I am a college student and these employees made me feel very uncomfortable for my safety. Stay away from this company.

I had one of their Segwayed salespersons come to my home wanting to know if I knew what was going on with a neighbor’s pest problems. This was the second time he came, talking to my wife with the same story the first time. BTW he ignored the No Soliciting sign both times (I seriously don’t think he knew what it meant). I told him to get off my property and he told me I had ants covering my porch. WTF?

This company apparently sends out people who cannot read. I have a No Soliciting sign on my door that this guy obviously couldn’t read. When I pointed it out to him, he said, “yeah, most of the doors in this neighborhood have those.” I had to crate my puppy to open the door because I thought it was my lawn caretaker needing something. Even if I were in the market for pest control, his behavior makes me give a hard NO to this company. Ugh!

We signed up for a 1 year agreement, everytime we reschedule to make sure they can come into the house and yard they do but cancel after the appointment time. They will claim to come out another day and said they sprayed front and back yard but not the house since we weren't there. There is no way they sprayed our backyard as the gate is locked and 3 dogs are in the yard. They make claims of work done that has never been done. Only bad experiences with them so far.

Oversold and overpromised and overcharged me... I was contacted by a very young door to door salesman.he promised all sorts of things of which none of them materialized. They claim i signed a contract, and I dont recall signing anything at all. They've charged me twice. The first time at a rate we discussed and then about 45 days later they stopped by to spray again and charged me more than double the first time... after the first treatment, I had more bugs than ever, and I attempted to get them. Back out and never got a reply... on the second visit they exterminator only did the front outside of the house, never apparently ringing my Ring doorbell or knocking as I would have got the ring notifications and there were also people home. They left a sticker on my front door that stated they couldn't perform.their normal task because my gate was locked. I called and finally talked to a girl and asked to cancel since I'm 100%dissatisfied with my service so far. I was told that I could do that but I now had to pay another $139 .00 just to cancel... companies like this make a living off of a one sided contract (I never signed) which enables them to RIP you off entirely and then charge you for terminating their service once you figure out that they're stealing from you... I would recommend finding a local reputable company and avoid them at all cost.

This company seems to have zero regard for paying taxes due the state on their vehicles. They have two pickups across the street from my house with Idaho tags, they have been there since October. They park one in the driveway IDAHO tag 4B J9304 (the driveway can hold 4 full size vehicles) and then leave the other one behind my driveway-it has been there for 3 weeks-IDAHO tag 4B K8537. Not moving just setting there making pulling in and out of my driveway less than safe or convenient. I will never give them my business. Their parking has created stress for my neighbor also since it also makes it difficult to pull in or back out of her driveway. Thanks for coming over to tell me you do not appreciate my review. Also thanks for telling me that the ambulance could drive around and get into my driveway from a different direction. I guess when someone calls 911 and needs an ambulance it should be noted that they need to take the LONG way around during an emergency (that's what you said..... unbelievable).

Roommate signed up for service every two weeks, then when she called she was told they can’t legally come every two weeks. She is paying $40 a month and they have not been out since late October. It was a couple of months between the last visit and previous visit. They just talk around her when she calls to try and get something done. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Would leave negative stars if possible.

Signed up for service, telling the sales guy I believe in a scorched earth policy when it comes to bugs and wanted monthly service. Assured it was no problem. Got the initial treatment but no one showed up the next month. Called their corp office and the lady said I was signed up for quarterly treatment even though I was assured I was not. Said she would move me to treatment every two months. Another month passes, no one shows. Got a text saying I was scheduled for Nov. 2nd so I took the day off so I could let them in and talk to the tech about a couple problem areas but noooobody showed. It has been 6 MONTHS since I signed up and have been charged over $200 during that time and the only time they showed up was for the initial treatment in August! This place is a rip-off!! I will be contacting the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and reporting them!! Enough calls and they will lose their licensing in Oklahoma, be barred from doing business for 5 years, be fined and forced to pay restitution.

Avoid this company at all costs! The sales team makes false claims and oversell. The service is not on par for what you should be getting. We have had 3 services and all 3 were below expectations. We tried cancelling after the first service but they had us locked in for 6 months. After cancelling they charged us for an additional service and won't refund our money. Don't make the same mistake we did!

Door to door salesman ignored our no soliciting sign that is posted above our doorbell. Reading neighborhood posts this morning and I am not alone. Our town and neighborhood has a no soliciting ordinance. I will not use this company due to their blatant disregard.

I have a no soliciting sign on my door...my security camera caught the salesman reading the sign then banging on my door anyways at approximately 2pm. About 8pm the same day a 2nd salesman was caught on camera walking thru my lawn...he saw my security camera then quickly walked away. If their employees don’t respect no soliciting signs & people’s front lawns...then I definitely do not want them inside my home!!!! My HOA page is full of posts about the 1st salesman today...he ignored all no soliciting signs & was rude to everyone that posted.

This company is full of false promises and below par service. Do not sign a contract with them. The technician was to spray the whole house, remove all webs and nest on the outside of the home, and treat for mosquitoes. The house was only partially sprayed and none of the webs or nest were removed as promised. When I inquired about the mosquito treatment the technician who came onsite stated they do not provide actually provide that service. When attempting to sever ties with the company, they try to pull more money out of you with cancellation fees. I have disputed the charge with Amex and plan on ensuring I pay nothing more to this fraudulent company. Photos of unremoved nest post "Service!?!?"

I think they are great! They spray the entire yard for fleas and bugs along with the foundation and inside. They schedule your quarterly appointment a few weeks before it’s due but they schedule based off your area which makes sense! My ants are gone on day two and I sit on my back porch daily and the bugs have disappeared. I’m still new to the program but after talking to their customer service department, I feel at ease after reading the negative reviews on here.

Whole neighborhood is up in arms about these people coming around ringing the doorbells, ignoring No Solicitors signs, and scamming people. Yelp reviews depict their practices--getting people to sign up for contracts without full disclosure, lying about 'your neighbors we are working for', and their persistence. If you do a good job, you don't have to act the way these people do. I'm writing about their Colorado operation, not OK as listed here, but they managed to remove their review page after I called the company to complain.

Terrible company says they will respray if you see anything and when you call they say you have a spray in 2 weeks don't worry about it. There spray doesn't work and when you try to cancel service they get an attitude with you. Sad I would rather pay 160$ to cancel the service instead of continuing with them. I am furious with this pest control. DO NOT use Armor Pest Conrol. We were not informed about anything. We were told that the $129.00 was for 3 months service and if we wanted we could stop service at that time. We were also told we would be charged every 3 months if we kept the service. We were not told it was a contract for 1 year we signed. We didn't have the option to read the contract before signing. The guy had a tablet and just said sign. Now, only 2 months into it and only 2 treatments they tried to bill my checking for another $129.00. That was wrong. I told them I was cancelling and they informed me there is a $100.00 cancellation fee. We were not told about that either. Also, they didn't even check to see if we had any sort of problems. They spent about 5 minutes last time they came. They owe me one more spray, but I don't think I will get it. I am filing a complaint with the BBB immediately. I don't know what they star is for it doesn' t say but I am giving a 0 rating. I suspect they don't want you to know what the rating is and you have to press a star to post. This place is a fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were lied to by this company about the charges for their services. They showed back up at our house telling us it was at no charge. The following day my account was charged $109. Strongly recommend not doing business with this company. When I call their customer service the lady was very rude and made it sound like to bad so sad to cancel now you have to pay $150.

My husband signed us up two months ago for a contract at $32 a month. The initial application was fine, the rep was happy to exclude any areas I didn’t want sprayed as we have a toddler who puts his mouth on everything. The rep informed us that the initial spray may take up to 30 days to begin working and that if we saw anything the spray was suppose to kill or deter to call them and they would come spray again. I have been trying for three weeks now to contact someone at this business. The recording I reach every time claims their office hours are Monday through Friday 9AM to 9PM and they are actually extended hours for the summer. The number in the email they sent us is for ID so I thought with the time zones being different to just wait until 9am their time. No, still no answer. There’s an alternate number for my area no one ever answers either. We are seeing tons of bugs and spiders now and I can’t get in touch with anyone at this business to come back and spray. I am extremely displeased with this business and and going to attempt to terminate our contract as they have not upheld their end of the deal.

Great company! The salesman was very nice and understanding. They don’t use the high chemical products, they use natural plant based oils so it’s completely safe for kids and pets! Previous to recently we were very impressed with this company and their ability to get rid of all of our bug issues before they even arise. However we have had them out TWICE within the last month or so to tackle a flea issue. The last time they came it was for a respray, we were told that this time the issue should be handled. However, almost three weeks later I am still vacuuming up LIVE fleas DAILY. Both of our pets are treated for fleas and do not have any on them whatsoever. This leads me to believe their products are not working as well as they have in the past, or maybe we just got lucky before. We may be looking into switching companies ASAP due to not wanting our kids or ourselves to be bitten by these disgusting pests any longer.
