I just want to say they came out for us last year and did an amazing job. Where another company said we had bed bugs they properly diagnosed as an obscure insect (spring tails). Very reasonable and quick to respond and treat. Highly recommend them and do not understand why others left poor reviews.

Chris Schavel visited my home and introduced the services of Sure Thing Pest Control. He explained the initial home inspection for pests and the on going program to prevent future infestations. Chis had no problem with me accompanying him as he toured my home. He explained what he was looking for and any areas that could be problematic. I appreciated Chris's professionalism and knowledge. He demonstrated his knowledge and willingness to explain Sure Thing's program. I liked the "no up-sell" and "no scare" approach to his services in relationship to my home. He gave me confidence in Sure Thing Pest Control. After this visit I signed up for a quarterly treatment program.

Update: It seems the previous owners opted to not pursue some more aggressive treatment options that were included in the annual treatment plan they purchased. Two areas of our home had evidence of termites when we moved in, and there hasn't been any termite activity in one of those spots since the original treatment. Sure Thing Pest Control will be doing the more aggressive treatment next week, and I'm hopeful our termite problems will be at an end. Overall, they were quick to respond to the swarms, with a visit within two days and planned treatment within a week. And Corbin seemed very knowledgeable in assessing the current state of our colony and kind in explaining to my curious kids what he was doing. He also pointed out some mouse activity and gave us tips of how to keep them out without pushing extermination. Original review: I'm hesitantly giving a 2 star review, because they're coming out tomorrow to see what they can do to fix the situation. I'll adjust this review according to what happens tomorrow. In March 2018, we bought a house after termites were found on the inspection. Our sellers agreed to get them exterminated before we moved in. Right after moving in, we had several swarms, but were assured that was normal and they would all die when they moulted in the fall. Now this spring 2019, we've already had two large swarms, showing the colony is in fact alive and well, and unaffected by a year of treatments by Sure Thing Pest Control.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The owner Glen, sent his son (Corbin) out to do our termite treatment in April 2018. While out at our house, his son drilled holes through our concrete front step and through our basement ceiling drywall. This then has allowed water to leak into our basement. Glen sent someone to our house 4 times to "patch" the hole. We were assured each time it wouldn't leak again. Well, guess what, it has. After this company marred our home and allowed water to enter, Glen couldn't get a concrete person to come out and do a proper repair. His suggestion was that he file a claim through his insurance company, which he did. The insurance company is offering to pay for the drywall repair, but nothing with the source of the leak from the hole put in our steps. These holes are still leaking today. I called Glen today and he proceeded to lie and now tell me that the steps had issues prior to his son DRILLING HOLES THROUGH THEM. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He told me that he will not help me get my steps properly repaired and that an engineer would say there were prior issues. I assure you that this house did not have issues with leaking prior to this treatment. We bought it in May 2017 and had a thorough inspection completed. Now I sit here in tears, as I have been patient and worked with Sure Thing on this since April. Now for some reason they have decided to lie and deny the damage they caused. Unfortunately, now I will have to look into a lawyer. I'm not sure what else to do. The photos attached were of the most recent rain fall and leak, taken on 12/8/2018.

Shout out to Matt Roberts from Sure Thing Pest control. He does a great job, keeping our property and house bug free. This past spring I called Matt in a panic when we where having some siding replaced. As the contractors pulled off old siding they saw a massive ant infestation. Having had damage years ago ( before SureThing) I knew what damage carpenter ants could do . Even though Matt had a full schedule and was due at his daughters graduation, he made a special trip out to treat the area, so our problem would be taken care of and the contractors could finish their work. Thanks for the extra effort and quick repsonse Matt. !!!!!!!

I just purchased a home from someone that was under warranty with Sure Thing. I called to get some pricing information in order to compare if I would renew warranty with them or not. The office flat out refused to give me any information stating "she wouldn't feel right" giving me that. I told her that I was going to go with another company and she was perfectly fine with that. Poor business practice and it sounds very shady to me.

The people that come out are nice and helpful. However the office is shady. Not clear pricing and what services are offered. Miscommunication with customer and service people. We got treated very poorly when we needed our inspection to sell our house even though we were still under warranty. Because of this we are not recommending them to the people who are buying our house and we will not be using them for our new home.

Zero respect for your time.... no apologies! I guess I need to stick to the big guys they apparently have better means of communication and are the real sure thing. Spoke to someone last week at Sure Thing Pest Control regarding an appointment to come and check out a wasp nest the size of a baby's fist that they kept rebuilding every time my boyfriend knocked it down. There wasn't a big sworn, but it was in a roof peak near the front door and I wasn't sure if there was another problem I couldn't see. I was given a day for service and was told the tech would call when they were on their way. With no exact time I took off from work to be home. As the end of the day approached I became concerned because I had not heard from anyone so I called the company and the rep stated that they don't make appointments for that service, they just call when they're in the area.... WHAT?!?! Total waste of my time and day! She didn't even apologize, she just kept saying- we don't make appointments for bees. I guess the "Sure Thing" means something different, smh! Still concerned I call Orkin and they scheduled me for an exact time and date that same week. Wanted to stay with a local business, but I need reliability.

I had the worse experience with this company. I called to schedule an appointment and was told I could cancel my appointment prior to service. I called to cancel my appointment and I was assured it would be cancelled. Thirty minutes to an hour later I get a call that the service man had already came. Apparently, before the scheduled time, because I never received a confirmation call nor a call from the service man. I wasn't home nor did I sign anything. Yet they are harassing me for a $75 fee. This company is shady and I will never recommend them to anyone. In fact I will be filing a complaint with BBB. #neveragain
