For the past 3 years, we've lived in Knoxville TN...having moved from CA, I had a concern about 'bugs in the south'. Anyway, we hired ClearDefense Pest Control the day we bought our home and they were amazing. Never had issues and on one occasion, we found carpenter bees in the backyard, called for a follow up and they came out the next day to take care of it. Needless to say, when we recently moved to Hamilton Co., Cincinnati to be near our grandkids, we called to set up ClearDefense immediately. To our surprise, they had recently opened an office near by and the manager was originally from the Knoxville branch. They came out for our initial service and just did a quarterly follow up on our new home. To the whole team... John, Devin, Mason and Jeff, thank you so much! Given how professional, clean, knowledgeable and on time ClearDefense was at our old home, you guys do not disappoint here in Cincinnati. Can't thank you enough for keeping our home clean and bug free. Keep up the great work!

So let me start off by saying that we have an inground pool close to our house, and a screened in patio. We have a bad mosquito and carpenter bee problem. It's pretty out of hand. My mom hired this company for her bee problem and I was so impressed, so we decided to do the same. Devin and Mason were our techs. Mason immediately got to work and made sure to focus on areas I had pointed out that the bees are destroying. Devin came inside and explained the entire process and went over everything with me. He's extremely personable and easy to talk with. They were quick and accurate with spraying. What I really liked is that they don't wear masks to spray. We've used other mosquito companies in the past that have to completely shield their breathing from what they're spraying. Highly recommend Clear Defense Pest Control! Geoff stopped by our home this morning to treat for mosquitoes. He was quick and efficient and super friendly. We absolutely love having our home treated by Clear Defense Pest Control. Every employee who has come to our home so far has been extremely nice and a pleasure to chat with.

*Month Update* After a month, I can say that I have noticed a significant decrease in pest activity within the home and in the yard, as well. My garage went from dozens of spiders to maybe one or two, and the basement has been devoid rather than swarming. Full recommendation. Today, had Geoff of ClearDefense Pest Control out, and he did a great job with my first quarterly. Very friendly, efficient, and made sure to ask after any problem areas that might need extra attention. High marks from me. Thank you ClearDefense, and thank you Geoff. For now, I am reviewing solely on the first care visit. I will update this review later once I have assessed the actual service itself. For now, I would like to say that both individuals to interact with me have been extremely courteous and pleasant. Also, while providing the first visit, the technician went out of his way to do extra work around the garage based on my telling him about our spider issue. I was very impressed, and even based on this interaction would be likely to recommend the service. Again, I will update once I can speak to the strength of the pest killing itself.

We’ve had multiple treatments prior to this and no one has mentioned the abundance of millipedes in our garage before now. We just thought it was normal since we live near the woods and bugs are more prevelant. If it’s not spiders, it’s some other bug. Our technician, Deep, went above and beyond. Thorough spraying around the first floor and basement and then removal of all the spider webs in the garage and outside, plus treating around the house. Really impressed with the service and the professionalism of John. Signs of better things to come!! Update: today I called the main office due to a problem with Japanese beetles. As always, very courteous and professional. Within 30 minutes Cory came to the house and I showed him the problem areas and proceeded to treat them and explain the product used (pet friendly) and gave me recommendations for follow up steps. He was very corteous and professional. I thanked him for the prompt response and recommendations.

I always feel bad for my friends who complain about bugs in and around their house. I initially set my service up with Tyler who scheduled my first treatment. He was so friendly and I just immediately knew this was the company I should go with. The process was so efficient from the very start. Devin came to treat my house a couple of days later and I truly haven’t seen a single insect since! AMAZING FEELING!!!!!! Devin and Tyler both were extremely professional and informative, explaining that the products are not toxic to my kids or pets as well as answering other random questions I had. I hate spiders! Thank goodness those awful creatures are no where to be found in my house. Thank you Tyler, Devin and the entire Clear Defense team! Highly recommend to anyone pestered by bugs even the slightest bit. Even a few stink bugs now and then make your home feel gross and I can honestly say my house feels so much more sanitary without bugs lurking! Yuck! I do not usually write reviews but after receiving two consecutive calls this week from the general manager, John, and the owner, Brendon, checking on me and making sure that I was satisfied with the services, I just had to share! I am jaw dropped by this company’s quality and professionalism. Other companies should take a hint. This is how a successful business in the service industry prevails!

We had a problem with Stink bugs. After the first treatment, it looked like the activity increased and I saw many live (and dead) stink bugs in our patio. I called ClearDefence again and John came over and did a thorough treatment of the shrubs and vines around the house. He also explained that as the leaves were drying because of the drought, the bugs were taking that as a signal that winter was approaching (even though temperatures were high). He noticed a lot of activity in the foliage around the house and treated that again. So far so good. Very polite, courteous people and a pleasure to deal with them. Thank you.
