I was happy at first. But never pre pay for services. You never know what or when you will get it. I asked if I could also have them spray while they were out for my termite inspection. I was told yes and paid for both the day I scheduled the service. It was raining so they could do neither on the day of service. I was patient and waited over 2 months for them to reschedule my termite inspection and thought they would still hold to my request. I wasn't sure if they sprayed so I called and was told basically it was too late for them to do anything. I could have the technician call me. Taking business elsewhere. I thought they would be willing to help since it was a service I was charged for. Oh well...

One of your people, Ray, showed up with supposed orders which we did not request. Instead of coming to the front door and ringing the bell he was sneaking around the back trying to get in the sliding door. The, supposed supervisor, Sebastian, was unable to provide a phone number for the owner of the company. He claimed they liked to wotk on Saturday's when people arent home. The only reason I can think of for sneaking around the back of people's houses hopong to find them away is you're trying to break in. So are you a pest control service or a burglary ring?

This was an amazing experience. I was trying to get rid of my fleas and they squeezed me in right away, less than hour. The exterminator was very professional and quick.. they even offered a 30 day guarantee which I appreciate!! The treatment was also very inexpensive compared to others I was looking at. I'm so impressed and I will continue to use them!

Had yard spray and quarterly pest control. Paid hundreds and saw absolutely no improvement. Ants, spiders, mole crickets, beetles all happily go about their business. Can't go anywhere in my yard without risking ant bites. Frequently kill spiders in my home. Mole cricket damage is obvious in my grass. Canceled my contract and will buy my own supplies. Can't work any worse... Now I'm concerned my termite contract with them is useless too...

Mike came to do our WDIR before we move in a few weeks. He was extremely friendly and when he realized we had a crawling baby he offered to take his shoes off. He greeted the baby and made him smile! He was very friendly and talked to us about what he was doing during the inspection! When he saw we had a dog he asked if she was friendly and said it was fine if she was inside during the inspection. He loved on our dog Gracie and played with her as he worked. We have never had such a kind and genuine service person in our home before! We were amazed with how friendly he was to our sweet dog it made all of our days! An inspection is never fun, but somehow he made it an enjoyable stress-free experience for us! Thanks Mike!!!!

I have been using May Exterminating since I purchased my home 5 years ago. I moved away and started renting it out recently. I am still able to maintain my termite inspections from half the country away thanks to this wonderful company. Recently, I had issues logging in to check on my account. Andrea responded to my e-mails almost immediately, and they were sent after business hours. She saw to it that my problem was addressed and kept me informed while it was being resolved. If you’re in Joe’s service area, you’re lucky! He’s kind, conscientious of kids in the home, and well-versed in bug control. We moved into an infested rental (thanks to poor management/previous renters), and although it took some time to get our home into shape, we finally aren’t getting bit in our beds and can enjoy living here a little. A few days after spray in the first few months I’d be finding giant spiders and other dead bugs littering the floors (ew), and now a year later it’s just a few here and there-much more reasonable. I do wish they had online payment as an option since I’m bad at calling, but it’s a small price to pay for the phenomenal customer service (both when I call and when my home is sprayed) and bug free home. I hated my house, and now I finally feel comfortable when I walk in the door because I know it’s a safe, spider-free zone!

I've had an account with them since 2003. I always pay on time or prepay. Today I had an appointment for 3-4pm and no one showed up. When I called to inquire closer to 5pm, I was told that they were running late. They did not call to notify me. I was hung up on twice when I asked for a refund. I was also threatened with a cancellation of contract because I didn't want to pay until I knew when I could reschedule due to their error. When I called back a third time to get confirmation of my refund, I was told that they didn't hang up on me, "the conversation was over". Yep, definitely over. Too bad they lost a 15 year customer due to nasty attitudes.

I cancelled my contract with May Exterminating. Unreliable company. I had an appointment for a termite inspection....the technician didn't show at the agreed upon time. Even after waiting an additional hour still a no show. I called the Company who said they would investigate and call back.....they never called back. I called the Company again the next day and they inform the technician was there at the agreed upon time and left a door hanger.....not true. I got to the house 20 minutes before the appointed time and stayed for an additional hour. I thought maybe a mix up on the address. Nope address is correct somebody just not being truthful. Can't do business with a company like this.

We had May Extermination Check our House, & yard Last Year. Mike was friendly, Through, Spoke Clearly, & Answered any Questions asked. This year we had the Pleasure of Mike to Inspect our house, & yard again. He was Through, Friendly, Clearly Spoke, Answered our Questions, & Addressed our Concerns. I recently had a Guy come out to do a termite inspection. I know it is needed. However he just popped up no notification no letter no phone call or anything. When my husband came home he was there. My husband called and asked if i had scheduled Richard our usual pest control guy (amazing by the way) I didn’t i asked to speak to the inspector he said he was sent out to do the inspection that cost $145. My biggest issue here is we were NEVER notified that he was coming. We have a big dog and we are both concealed carry permit holders with a small child in the house. When i called the office the woman i spoke with was very rude and said it wasn’t her fault i didn’t get the Notice that they were coming and it is company policy that if after two weeks we don’t contact them for the termite inspection they just sent someone out. I’m confused as to why our regular pest guy has to call prior to his arrival but the termite inspection guy does not. It’s bad business because regardless if whether you’re home your scheduled or not. you are still responsible for the inspection. what if the owner has mental issues and is paranoid? You never know with in that person’s house. So now you’re putting your technician in harms way as well just seems a little iffy.

My realtor originally found this place for my husband and I to use because we had to have a required termite inspection. After closing, May's provides a certificate for a free pest service to be used within a certain time frame. I used the free service before its expiration date to have my yard treated for fire ants because the ants had been a major problem in the yard since move in. I had already put a powder treatment and baits in our yard days before May's came out, and honestly, I didn't/don't see where May's did any more than what I did to treat the fire ants. The two techs who came out only put powder down in a few areas that I had missed. Regardless, May's, and my own, fire ant treatment did not work and I am still battling fire ants months later. Fast forward now to 9 months after the initial termite inspection from this place and I now see evidence of what appears to be termites on my property and they won't treat it because they don't touch termites on properties, just houses. 1 yr later - After just having my annual termite agreement fulfilled and finding out they only do VISUAL inspections with that renewal ,and NO APPLICATION of anything ( because they just applied treatment last year and it's supposed to hold up for 10 yrs- they'll charge me $85 if they have to come out and re-treat, treatments don't work if you have dogs or animals digging around the home where they applied initial treatment) and charge $145 a year for just a VISUAL inspection with absolutely nothing else included. NO THANKS! I cancelled my contract. I can apply my own treatments or use bait stations on my home since it seems like I am really the one who has to do most of the work in keeping control of the termites.

Had my house sprayed for millipedes in April. Saw a few bugs after but decided I was not going to bother them for 1 or 2 bugs. In May, there were many more every day, just as they were before they had sprayed. I called and they said they'd be happy to come back out- for an additional $35 !!!!!! When I asked why they'd charge that amount of money the following month, they said I was beyond my 30 day window and would have to pay $35 for them to re spray. NO WHERE on my receipt did it mention that nor did the technician tell me the day of service. I understand there are limitations, but from April to Mid May should not have been a $35 fee !!! I'll be calling another company from now on. WORD TO THE WISE - THE FIRST BUG YOU SEE MAKE SURE YOU CALL. OTHERWISE YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY $35 .

May exterminating has a great receptionist who is friendly and helpful, however Andre the service person that schedules your pest control is very rude and unprofessional. He called me and text me within 1 hour and because I was not able to answer he took me off his schedule. When I spoke with him about it he was very unaccommodating. We will be switching our services to elsewhere!
