Positive Pest Management was very quick to respond when I had an outbreak of drain fly's in my home we called them on a Friday afternoon and they scheduled me for a treatment on Sunday Morning which made it easy for my family and dog to be out of the house for the required time for this type of treatment it has been 2 months since they treated my house and we have no issues since. We had a great technician for our mice problem in our Manhattan residence. He was respectful , polite, and diligent. He was reassuring that he would be able to control and stop the rodents from entering our apartment and took his time going from room to room sealing up every little possible entry point. I couldn't recommend Positive Pest Management more highly! They were just terrific, every step of the way. Larry, my technician was prompt, pleasant, professional and polite! He was incredibly thorough and really knew what he was doing. I had a moth infestation and had used a different company to inspect my apartment and was planning to also hire them for extermination itself. However, as I educated myself, I began to realize that they were treating my infestation as though I had bedbugs and were requiring me to follow a bedbug protocol instead of a protocol for moths. Stressed out of my mind and very short on time, I searched the Internet and found Positive Pest Mgmt. Initially wary of going with a company I had never worked with or heard of before, I began to become more confident as I studied their site and saw how they differentiated among different types of infestations and seemed to really know their stuff. So, I called and left a message. My call was returned within the hour. The woman I spoke to was professional and knowledgeable but said they were booked solid the next week (it was a Friday morning). She then mentioned she did have one fellow who actually liked to work on Sundays, if that was of interest. I replied that I would actually prefer that, so we set something up for Sunday and she explained how to prepare properly. Larry came, as planned, and was just wonderful. He left me with pheromone traps to monitor for any moths returning but I haven't see a single one. My life's back to normal and these guys are awesome! - Amy, Chelsea, NYC

Bennett and the whole staff from Positive Pest was helpful, supportive, informative and efficient at eliminating or preventing any bed bug outbreak. Our building had an outbreak of bedbugs. We privately hired Positive Pest to come in to my apt. to prevent possible spread of bed bugs from others' apartments into ours. Bennett the head of the company personally spoke with us and checked in to make sure all was being done. He sent his staff the next day to come and help us protect our family of 3 children and a dog. He spoke at length with us as to what I needed to do as well as the cost. Positive Pest was worth every cent! By the time we were done, Bennett said we had a greater chance of winning the lottery than contracting bed bugs. Just what we wanted to hear!!!

I HIGHLY recommend this company. The receptionist, Leah, was very helpful when I called and she answered all my questions. The response time was great, they were able to come early in the morning 48hrs after my call. The exterminator/technician who showed up was VERY nice and friendly and made me feel comfortable and like he would solve my problem. He also put brought a ton of equipment and gear like he was a Ghost Buster coming to save the day! He also called me approx. 20mins before arriving, which I find very thoughtful and helpful because then I was ready when he go there and didn't waste any time since I needed to leave for work. Since they visited my apartment, I have not seen any pests and I feel confident I won't.

I needed rush service, and PPM was very responsive, especially considering I called on a weekend. Bennett, who I believe is the owner, was helpful but I only spoke to him when I called to set up the initial appointment. The exterminator who came to perform the service said to call him in a week to give an update, but then never responded to calls or texts. They offer a 30-day guarantee, but didn’t explain the conditions of the guarantee to me until I called to exercise it. Also the woman I spoke to in the office a week after the service was rude and a poor listener.

Larry!! The World's Greatest Exterminator! This was such a great experience. The woman who scheduled my visit on the phone was spectacular, so kind and professional. Then comes Larry. Oh, what a great guy. He says "I'm gonna do a great job for you" and you know what? He really did. Found the source of the invasion and stopped it all right up. Gave me a ton of tips to prevent my home from being invaded in the future! He was an all-around amazing guy. Ask for Larry and get the job done :D

I recently had a rodent issue and had a good experience working with Positive Pest Management. I called their 800 number. Ben, the owner, called and said he will see what he could do as they are real backed up. My error, I didn't called till late afternoon. Ben tried but he could not get anyone for me that evening, however, he gave me a few tips on what I could do in the meantime. Although they could not help me that evening Ben was always in contact with me. The next day, I called and spoke to Ben again and Larry, the technician, showed up in the evening. Larry was professional, polite, and knowledgable and went to work right. He covered as many holes as he possibly could. He was extremely thorough. He recommended that I should use a general contractor for rodent proofing and I agreed. He contacted Ben and instantaneously he text me the information I needed to move forward. Positive Pest Management is a well run company by Ben. He and everyone I have talked to are all professional, efficient, courteous, responsive and patient. Providing excellent customer service is very high on their list. I highly recommend them to anyone who value excellent service. What they charge for their impeccable service is nominal. I would definitely use them again.

Professional, Courteous Extermination Service. On Sunday, March 26, 2011, my bedbug infestation problem finally came to a conclusion. I have been plauged since November 2011 with repeated infestation by the buildings management extermination servive inadequate technique and inability to keep appointments so that the problem could be proerly resolved. Well in steps Postive Pest, with thier proffessional approach and up-to-date equipement and products my months of aggra vation was resolved in practiclly in an instant. He did a meticulous job of treating the bed bug infestation in my home and followed up with me a week and a half later to ask how things were going. Leah their office manager is simply amazing. We love Positive Pest Management! We have had various pest control needs at several of our brownstone properties over the last 15 or so years and after going back and forth between a few different ones, Positive has proven far and away the best. They are easy to deal with, show up on time, and know what they're doing. We have used them for ants, roaches, mice, and rats, and when they didn't have folks on-hand to do "elimination" work, the gave us a referral who was great. Benett, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his work (he came recently for a termite inspection). We'd definitely recommend Positive!

These guys are amazing! This is our second experience with bed bugs, unfortunately. Last time we picked a firm that advertised natural methods using steam. They did use steam on the coach, but they soaked our bedroom with poison, and barely grunted when we asked for explanations. We had to have them come back twice, since they did such a bad job. This time around I was determined to get someone better, and positive pest came recommended by another exterminator. The guy who came was courteous and explained everything. He was extremely through, and sprayed in all crevices. When he was all done, the apartment was cleaner than when he came in, because he swept and vacuumed, too! I also really liked the list of what we had to do, that really helped us to prepare, and has been invaluable in educating our downstairs tenants in how to avoid getting the bedbugs back again.

Literally the nicest company! I have used them for several years now! Two apartments infested moving in, both times not a problem after their treatment. I now use them for maintenance. The staff are so incredibly kind and professional! It comes from the top! From the person receiving the call to schedule the appointment to the technician ... all are amazing and really try to help! Technician will call when 30 min away and spends as much time as needed for a thorough treatment! They know what they are talking about! Kind and HAPPY!
