Bottom line, we were a long time customer that accidentally missed a year of ant removal, so instead of paying $128, they wanted $499!! The worst part was dealing with Bob, the owner! No customer service skills. He was rude and condescending while talking over me, like a child wanting to get their point heard. He even said “Now I know you can count” when I was going over pricing.

Bob and Protex Pest Control were extremely difficult to work with. I used them to inspect my new home and treat it for termites. When the one year renewal period came around, I sent in the renewal form with my payment. I paid them, yet they never contacted me and never came out and did an inspection. At the 2 year renewal mark, I realized I never got another renewal from them, so I called them. The receptionist apologized and said they would come out to inspect my home now, even though it was a little over a year. On the day my appointment was scheduled for, I had to take off an hour from work to be home for the inspection at 4 pm. Bob called me an hour before my inspection (2:57 pm) and asked if he could come early in 30 minutes. I said sure, and had to leave work right away, an hour earlier than I was scheduled to leave. I hit some traffic and got home 35 minutes later (3:35 pm), and there was a business card on my door. He never called, but just left a business card and left. I called back his cell and he didn't answer. I called the receptionist and she said she would call him and get back to me. I received a call from him 20 minutes (3:59) later, and he said that he now he didn't have time and would have to reschedule my appointment. I told him it wasn't easy for me to take off work and that I did not want to reschedule. I reminded him that the time right now is currently my original appointment window of 4 pm - 5 pm, but he wouldn't come do the inspection at my house. Then, he started talking over me and being extremely rude saying how it was past my one year period so I would have to pay an extra $90 fee. It was not my fault that I never got the renewal letter in the mail, but he kept bringing up other notes on my account, and basically wouldn't stop talking over me, so he didn't have to listen to what I had to say. I eventually hung up on him because he wouldn't let me get a word in. I called the receptionist and she wouldn't do anything for me other than schedule a new appointment. We live in a busy world, why waste your valuable time with rude people who will not wait 5 minutes for you?

Excellent Services! We have bat problem in attic when we bought the house, we had called two pest control companies and they are not good. After we checked some other people' reviews, we contacted Protex termite & pest control inc. Bob ( the owner) and the technician (Jim) did really professional and outstanding jobs and they gave us 5 years Guaranty after the jobs done. We would absolutely use Protex again, and will mention them to our friends if they need.
