Great service from Wilma, Jack, Patrick and William. I had an emergency and Wilma diligently worked to include me last minute in their tight schedule, to perform a pest control service. I wanted to eliminate the source and not just mitigate the problem, so afterwards they came in and performed a search and seal service, as well as further remediation, tackling any potential entries of the pest to the unit. Jack performed a great job, finding a solution, explaining what had to be done and making us feel comfortable that this was something that could be solved. They are all very responsive and provided an excellent level of service, from my experience I totally recommend them.

PTPC is my go to exterminator for all my properties. I have a few buildings that need servicing monthly in hudson county and these guys are always on time and quick to get the job done. In the past if there was ever an issue with pests these guys were quick to come over and get the job done. The owner routinely will do visits himself with his guys and takes the time to explain the source of the problem and best way to control the situation. Unlike other exterminator companies these guys won’t break your bank and will even remind me when the next service is due instead of me having to track them down. I found this company through a quick google search. After seeing the reviews I figured I’d give it a try since I needed help immediately. I took the chance and luckily the company did not disappoint. The woman who answered my call was incredibly helpful and informative. I was able to secure an appointment within a day. I was given a solid amount of information for prepping on my end which I obviously wouldn’t have thought of myself. While I didn’t shop around because I was in a hurry to have the issue resolved, the price seemed completely fair to me and actually below what I had imagined I’d be paying. The day of the service the guy showed up on time and was friendly and professional. I was also given guidance on what to expect following the service. I’m happy to say the issue was resolved all within the one visit. I would love to never have pest issues again and not have to call them but if I ever do I can confidently say I will call them to handle the problem.

As strange as it might sound, PTPC in Jersey City managed to make the extermination process a rather pleasant one. I'd highly recommend this company and their regular maintenance service. When you call, you'll speak to Wilma who is really personable and efficient. She arranged for our appointment by way of a 3-hour window for the exterminator's arrival. On the day of the inspection she called to let me know the exterminator was a few minutes away. Patrick arrived on schedule, and he was professional, courteous, and really thorough. He answered all of my questions and made recommendations for each unit as part of his initial inspection of our 8-unit condo building. Their fees are reasonable and, to me, it's worth every penny just for the peace of mind.

The exterminator "Ty" is a great people person and gets along with all my tenants (29 units ) which means a lot. Stay away from this company!! Their “customer service”, if you want to even call it that, is TERRIBLE! When you originally call, sure, they’re very accommodating. But if you need them to come back, forget it. I called over 5 times and the woman refused to schedule service. I was finally connected to the owner. I explained that less than 60 days from the original date of service, Im still experiencing the same issues. Basically he told me “too bad” and was extremely rude and condescending. They wanted $125 more than the $300+ I already paid...to come re-check THEIR work. They don’t guarantee any of their work and they try to suck every penny from you they can get. Offering subscription services to come to your house every month. If you did the job right the first time, I wouldn’t need you to come back that often! I have a single family home, not an entire apartment building. This should have been a no brainer. Anyone thinking of hiring this company, should take your business elsewhere ...unless you want an incomplete job by an incompetent technician and you enjoy wasting your money!

We had a contractor doing work at our house for three days. On the second day, one of the crew (who had all been instructed and constantly reminded to close the basement door to the outside) let a squirrel into our basement. Great. Then the freaked out little thing found its way into our basement ceiling. Again, great. This happened after 5:00 p.m. on a Friday, because these things never happen at 2:00 p.m. on a Wednesday. Animal Control was no help, saying that they don't deal with wildlife problems. (What?!) Extra great. We Googled the problem and followed every bit of reasonable guidance for getting a squirrel out of the house. Nothing. We asked the contractor to come over and help us, but he wasn't contrite, wouldn't offer any suggestions, didn't take responsibility for any of it (tried to blame ME) and was annoyed that I was annoyed with him and his crew for creating the problem in the first place. Double-plus great. I called one of the big, national pest control chains at their 800 call center. After nearly an hour on hold, "sorry, but we don't handle squirrel problems". Stating such on their website would have been really great. After trying everything imaginable until after 3:00 a.m., we gave up. By the next morning, I was tired of hearing what people couldn't do, and wanted to hear what someone COULD do. I called Professional Termite and Pest Control and spoke to Wilma. She asked a few questions, and told me she would send one of their top people, Jack. Jack arrived within the hour to assess the situation. He was clean-cut, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained what usually worked to humanely trap a squirrel, their pricing, and then drew up a plan. He set a trap with a squirrel's favorite treat, and said he would be back every 24 hours to check the trap until the squirrel was caught. If not done properly, sometimes it can take weeks to trap a squirrel, and in the meantime it can die in your ceiling, wall, attic, or some other place where you don't want to have to locate the smell that draws a thousand flies. We didn't have to worry about that, though. With a little patience, trying different bait and trap locations, Jack stayed with the problem and within a few days the squirrel was caught unharmed. The little dickens would soon be released in a park a few miles away. Hooray! Skip the big companies. Hire local, hire Professional Termite and Pest Control and ask for Jack. They were really great!

In addition to giving us the best quote they were extremely helpful and helped me understand what exactly we needed and how we needed to prepare to make sure their service was as effective as possible. What I liked most was that the individual I spoke to when I called with my inquiry did not try to sell me on additional services like the previous company I had called tried to. *Update: Hired this company again for a new issue. Once again I had a positive experience with them. Professional, knowledgeable and good pricing. Our management company worked with a pest control company for 2 years prior to finding Professional Termite and Pest Control. While the original company we worked for did comply with their obligation, our tenants were never fully happy with the services. Problems would disappear for days, at best weeks and then return. Their customer service was mediocre at best. I constantly had to follow up to make sure they'd come back for the extra services to fix problems they did not fix on their original visits which made me feel like I was chasing someone to then have to pay them extra. The final straw came when we received complaints about the professionalism of their employees. We had numerous company's provide bids to our management company and after reviewing many factors we chose to go with Professional Pest Control. We have now been using them for the past year and a half and it is honestly such a pleasure and huge relief working with them. To date we have not received any complaints from our tenants. They have a General Manager, Jack, who always follows up with us from time to time to make sure the problem isn't resurfacing. What a pleasant change from the old company. In addition the management company as well as the tenants are constantly receiving educational information regarding services so that everything is prepped correctly and the services can be conducted in the most efficient way. Tenants have even commented on becoming familiar and friendly with their technicians. I can honestly say choosing this company was a toss up that could have gone wrong but actually went way past excellent. I feel comfortable and confident having them in our buildings and know that I do not need to worry about making sure their work is done correctly. Having a good team of employees and a manager that takes personal interest in each client makes a world of a difference, especially in this dirty field. If you are looking for a company, with decent pricing, excellent customer service who will educate you and eradicate your problem... these guys are it! I definitely give the company and their staff --- 2 thumbs up!

My tenant found this company when they had an issue with bug bites. My tenant called two companies to do an inspection. One company did a quick walk through and reported nothing was found. According to my tenant, Pat from Professional Termite & Pest spent an hour in the apartment and found evidence of a bed bug but no infestation. He recommended that the other units be inspected since the bed bug might have come from the other units. This is the point when my tenant referred this company to me. I called Pat (on his mobile) and he spoke with me during non-business hours for 30 minutes and explained all his findings. He did not rush the call, was polite, and answered all my questions. I then had him come back and inspect the other two units and sure enough, one of the units had bed bugs. Pat spent another 30 minutes with me on the phone, explaining my options and treatment plan. I hired them to treat the issue. Their office staff, Wilma, is amazing. She responds quickly to calls and emails, is professional and courteous. They provided detailed instructions to my tenants and Wilma kept me informed with status updates during the 3 treatments. Everything went smoothly and I would highly recommend them and will use them again if the need arises. They have a great team!

Called them up after some quick research online, as I never required the services of a pest control company. Friendly call taker, and convenient availability to come out. They charge a fee to come out even if no services are ordered, which is fine. Fee will go into price of services if you go with their treatment plan. On the date of service, the tech came as scheduled and came to inspect the area I found termites, and confirmed what I saw was true. Wrote out a recommendation for treatment, called in my credit card info for the visit, and said to call if we wanted to proceed. We call to request the treatment, tech comes and treats the one room. Here is where I have issues with the company. He treated just the one small room where I saw termites, but when I questioned him about how they spread or where they come from or if they will come back... He simply said he guaranteed the small room he treated and said it could cost thousands to tens of thousands to treat the entire property, and if I see termites in another room, give them a call. Didn't seem to be concerned where they came from in the first place, or the fact that they can easily spread room to room through the wood walls. Sure enough, 2 weeks later we see termite evidence in the next room over. Instead of calling Professional Termite, I called a different company. They came and thoroughly explained the situation and answered all questions and were very concerned about finding the source and extent of termite damage. Professional only looked at the one room in question and left it at that. There was termite damage along the entire wall, about 100 feet of damage, Professional only treated about 7 feet. The kicker: Professional was very overpriced. They charged roughly $500 to treat a 7x5 storage room. New company charged under $1000 to re do the room Professional did, plus the entire wall. Other company came 2x prior to treatment for consult and didn't charge a dime. I'd suggest Professional care more about locating the cause of an issue versus ensuring to collect payment for each service. Feel free to PM me for a recommendation of an honest and quality company.

Incredible customer service and professionalism (as the company name would suggest), from the office managers -Jack and Wilma - to the techs that do the actual servicing (especially Pat!). It's clear they take pride in what they do and that culture is upheld by every member of the business. If you're used to the typical exterminator that will come in, spray whatever generic chemical he has in his tank and just go through the motions, you will be as pleasantly surprised as I was by the level of care and expertise demonstrated throughout your experience with Professional. After coming back for the second time in a couple months for house centipedes, Pat and his assistant spent over an hour in our apartment, not simply re-treating, but searching for cracks, crevices, or other issues to truly identify the root cause of what was going on so that they were not just treating a symptom. Low and behold, he found the source of the problem and left me with a solution. Will continue to recommend them - look no further when it comes to pest control, they are the best in the area!

This company is great. VERY professional. Wilma was a joy to speak with and walked me through every step of their service and was offered. I decided to get inspection and treatment - for a mouse problem in my apartment. I can say that now calm, but I wasn't calm then. The day of the service, I was greeted by Pat and he was very patient with all my questions / concerns, listened and offered best recommendations. Answered every question and only afterwards then set up the treatment. I'm looking forward to getting my apt pest free soon. Excellent company! Very profession and personable from the secretary Wilma to Pat who came out to my site. I had an unusual and unwelcome visitor to my store and they came right out for me. Jack and his team were nothing but understanding and amazing to work with. From the amount of times they came to my property and inspected all areas to confirm the animals point of entry to how professional they were, I would highly recommend them! They also made sure to check all surrounding traps (that were not their responsibility) and refill! When working they made sure to be very cautious while walking through my property and they also left it as clean as possible! Anytime I called in between with questions or concerns, Jack always responded quickly and reassured me that everything will work out! They are very comforting and definitely put me at ease!
