After 25 years with our former pest control company it was recently taken over by On The Spot Pest Control. Last May Chris treated our home for carpenter ants and noticed signs of carpenter bees. He recommended treating this problem, but for various reasons we were not able to do this. Now, in the fall, my husband took steps to alleviate a new infestation of yellow jackets. We decided to call Chris to treat them just to be sure they were gone. Chris told us that what my husband had done was effective and no further treatment was necessary at this time of year. His honesty is truly refreshing and we look forward to having him help us with pest control for many years to come!

They took the time to understand the problem I was having with birds and put me at ease about finding a solution. I especially cannot say enough good things about Peter Listo. He checked out everything and then went above and beyond in implementing the solution because it was not a quick and easy fix and he wanted to make sure that it was done right. He took pride in his work and I really appreciated it. I'm definitely calling them again for any future problems...and requesting Peter!

Excellent customer service! OTSPC was recommended by our vet after our pet turned up with fleas. A tech arrived the day after we called and spent at least an hour touring our entire house and garages, and discussing the recommended treatment in detail. I previously had Terminix treat our home under our current contract and they'd come twice, sprayed several cans and left with the problem unsolved. OTSPC office staff was also very responsive and I made the first available appointment for the actual treatment. I had a ton of questions about how to prepare our home for the treatment and the tech answered each and every one of them with knowledge and courtesy. The actual treatment took several hours and after we followed the prescribed follow up instructions, our home was free of fleas within a few weeks (yes, it takes weeks!) I'm very happy with OTSPC and highly recommend them. I've since dropped Terminix and now have OTSPC for my ongoing pest control needs.

To the gentleman who came to my house (Justin) in Plainfield, thank you! You went above and beyond and was very professional. You replaced mice bait, added new traps, inquired about any peanut allergy in the home, asked if finding the body would make us queasy. If that isn't enough, you thoroughly sprayed the home and found a bee's nest that was on the property but not on the house itself. You then suited up and took care of it, giving me warning and advice for avoiding the bees. As well as expectations of the elimination of the bees. I am in shock and wanted to buy you a beer. Very disappointed! Each service is supposed to be half hour long, however, their people come for only 5-10 minutes each time. What made me really mad is today they came on a rainy day. It was pouring outside! I called to complain that they should not come on a day like this, and I was told their insecticide won’t be affected by the rain. Are you kidding me? The rain washed away everything. And they said their pest solutions still work. This is ridiculous.

Chris, the owner, was very professional and asked some questions then inspected the attic. He thought it might be squirrels and set (2) traps. We heard noises in our attic and feared that an animal had gotten inside. We called On the Spot and they sent Neil to investigate. He went up into the attic and set a trap. He accommodated all of our requests and did a very efficient job. We have used On the Spot in the past for carpenter bees and other issues and have always been pleased with their service.Their office staff is courteous and helpful, too.

When we moved into our house there we’re constant sightings of spiders and even carpenter ants. 1 year later of monthly treatments and our home has been free and clear. I called OTS for assistance with squirrel removal. Laurie provided outstanding customer service, she was thorough and very pleasant. This is why I gave OTS a 1 star rating. I believe Brian was the person who came onsite. I was initially quote $200 to set one tunnel but upon his inspection he said that I would need 2 tunnels at a price of $400. I agreed to this and the transaction was settled. He said he would take care of the install later on that day. I was not home when he completed the work. After two days passed, we still heard the squirrels. I reached out to OTS and spoke to Laurie (very kind) she put me in direct contact with Brian who explained to me that they in fact did NOT install 2 tunnels. So I asked why was I charged $400 instead of $200?!? His response to me was "Oh because we would have needed to come back to your home.." This was completely unacceptable! He also explained that I needed to have a roof line repaired because the squirrels would find an alternative way in. I was shocked because two days prior he said, we will install the tunnels and this will eliminate your squirrel problem NEVER did he mention the additional repairs. He agreed to come back to my home to see if there was anything he could. It was during his second visit that he did he take photos to show me where additional entry points at the roof line were. I called Laurie to complain about being charged because if Brian knew that he tunnels would not work why charge me for anything? I could understand a charge for his time- but $400?? I was told that the owner of the company would be in touch (I have not heard from him) I did receive a message from Brian saying I went to your house and partially cleaned out your gutters- as if this was a service that I was looking for. I do NOT recommend OTS! I would never use them again, I was taken advantage of and it cost me $400 for NOTHING. Well according to Brian for "partially cleaning out my gutters."

All though it is too early estimate how fast the invasion will cease, we are already seeing a decline after less than a week. Btw... I got half off the service because I signed up for a monthly plan. I called Neil my "dream man" because I am petrified of mice and he was very helpful, courteous, and professional. I was doing demolition today in my house and pulled a piece of drywall... behind it was a great big yellow jacket nest. I called On the Spot Pest Control on a Saturday afternoon and they had a technician on location to help me within the hour. Pete was technician and he took care of my yellow jacket problem. He was friendly and professional and quickly removed the nest and made it safe to reenter the house. Dear All, I normally don’t write reviews but in this case I must. Chris and his team are amazing. I was having my sons 1st birthday party outside and during set up at 730 am I noticed there were bugs all around the tree next to the tables . I called On the spot left a message thinking I’ll need to wait till Mon and we will have bugs all over the place at the party at 1 pm. Nope not the case. Chris (the owner) called me back in 30 minutes and had a technician come to my house with in a couple hours be fore the party. Chris and his team saved the day and the party.
