I highly recommend Cato. We had the horrifying discovery of bed bugs and I left a ton of messages for exterminators after hours and Cato called me right back and came out first thing in the morning. I was a hysterical mess and Tom and his crew were so sympathetic and understanding. I called with questions after my first treatment and was leaving a voicemail for Tom, but seconds later got a text from him that he was with a customer and would call me in a few minutes- which he did. I will never use any other exterminator again. You can't train your employees to be as compassionate as his crew is- Tom is a great guy and he seems to hire the sweetest of workers. We are highly satisfied!

Had you guys out last summer for an ANT problem. My wife said you guys were courtesy, very nice and did an awesome job (ants didnt come back for the summer). In the process of purchasing our first home we needed a termite inspection. We came across Cato from a referral a friend gave us, and I was absolutely blown away by the service that was offered and how extremely cheap it was. The Service was not cut short the technician was extremely knowledged and took his time to explain everything and gave us a break down on what to do. This small family business packs a punch most definitely! 2 thumbs way up for the way they do business.

Last summer Cato removed a yellow jacket wasp nest for me. Our neighbor's kids and our pets had been stung. They not only removed it but one month later when the wasps were rebuilding another nest they came back and got that one too. It was a very high tree and I was glad to have it safely removed. It was worth the fair and reasonable price they gave us. So when we saw evidence of mice we called them and they came out to help. Almost immediately we saw the mice had taken the bait and saw less evidence of droppings. They really STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! My husband wasn't home and a mouse appeared in my family room, within an hour they happily sent a technician to capture and remove it. I am happy to have a service plan with them. They don't require a contract but they clearly don't need it because my business won't be going anywhere else! They were also conscientious of our pets.

As a homeowner, I had the dreaded experience of having bed bugs brought to my home..uggghhh...I contacted Cato pest control after I read their reviews and I must say they lived up to expectations. First I was contacted by the owner and described my experience with my non-invited guests and he stated that it sounded exactly like bed bugs. So I had an inspection done and then scheduled a treatment date. The home inspection revealed that the source of the infestation was in my couch, where I sleep at all the time. During the consultation staff was really friendly, understanding and quite humorous...he inspected the whole home and could not find any bugs in any of the bedrooms nor the basement. He then informed me that I needed to remove everything and place the items in bags and wash all clothing to prepare for the treatment. The next person who came was so friendly and he was humorous as well. This made the experience very pleasant, cause dry conversation is the worst. He took apart the essentials, treated all areas and then made an appointment to come back and re-treat the area again. So far, knock on wood no bed bug bites!!! having bed begs is an awful and expensive experience, however Cato pest control was awesome!!! I even thought they came back and the owner was reassuring and went over all the details just like we had never spoken to make sure he wasn't being biased..he even offered to send staff out again to re-treat..but we didn't think it was necessary...Overall this company was affordable, friendly, quick and diligent...

They did my move in inspection. Let me know about ants outside of my house and to keep an eye on it. I am from Jersey so I wasn't familiar with the little crazy ants of Delaware. I followed the advise given and haven't seen one of those little stickers since. They also treated my moms house for camel crickets in the basement. Super thorough and very professional. I would recommend Tommy and his crew to anyone!

I highly recommend Cato Termite and Pest Control. I have been using them for years and have never been disappointed. I don't like companies where you have to spend a long time waiting for a return call. Cato Termite either answers their phone immediately or they quickly return your call. They also respond very quickly. I had a wasp nest this summer that was really scaring my kids. I called in the afternoon, they came out the same afternoon and got rid of it, for a reasonable fee. That's what I call service.

Tom gave me a fair estimate for the removal of a hornets nest from a shrub near our home. He then came over and quickly solved our hornet problem! Tom was thoroughly professional, personable and honest. He made me feel like my he appreciated my business and gave me a price that easily beat the competition. We had an excellent experience with Cato Pest Control over the summer. My grandfather's garage had been infested with termites for a few years, but when the weather changed from cool to hot, we had termite swarmers pouring out of the woodwork by the thousands. It was straight out of a nightmare. When I left a message with Cato, Tom got in contact with me immediately to set up an evaluation. He got us a quote (very reasonable!) and had us termite free within days! Tom and his employees are a pleasure to work with, even regarding such an unpleasant subject matter.
