I was referred to JP Pest when I was looking for Mold Remediation for our attic. Every single aspect of the process was 5 ⭐! I was provided a free quote, which is when I met Matt. Matt came in my home, assessed the situation, and then took the time to explain absolutely everything that the remediation process would entail. He answered all my questions, and was very informative. I received my quote emailed to me within a few hours after Matt left. The price was less than half of the quote that I received from another company!!! We scheduled a service date & a Tech came out exactly when scheduled and performed the remediation. He cleaned up after so well, if it weren't for the fact that I scheduled the service myself, I would never have known they were even there! The whole staff- from the Customer Service Reps on the phone, to the Management, to the Tech that came on site...everyone I had dealings with was top notch! I will not hesitate to use JP Pest for any pest/mold issues I have in the future & I will definitely recommend them to anyone that has a need for their services. I wish all companies had the same customer service standards as JP does.

I had JP Pest Services come to my home for a consult for my red squirrel visitors and Mr Dubrey was incredibly professional and thorough. He was very informative, respectful, and gave a ton of good advice.
When they installed there bug bait traps in the ground they pre-drill the holes first then install in-ground bait traps . Well , the installer drilled thru my irrigation water lines all around the house , never once telling me where he was going to install these traps . Then I found out he also cut all my low voltage wiring underground , what a mess they did . Never once did he explain the location of his traps or ask about anything he should know about underground prior to drilling his holes . In fact , he drilled right next to the in-ground lighting and pop-up sprinkler heads with no regard .
I just had my quarterly service completed. the technician is just "awesome". he not only is very personable but he's very thorough in the job he does. i have been doing business with your company for years and this technician is the best i have seen yet. not that the others weren't good......but this one is exceptional. kudos to you for hiring the best! glad to be able to do business with such and good team! keep up the good work.

Crisis required I call for services (never have used a pest company previous). A friend recommended JP Pest. They were able to come out within 24 hours of my call and were accommodating to my schedule. Shout out for Melissa, the technician, who arrived on time, was personable and very informative. Although I had to leave before she completed the job, I was grateful to receive her detailed report, and she was a pleasure to work with.

I had a bat problem in my chimney and after seeing the ads on television and all the vehicles on the road it was natural to give a call. Justin came out first thing one morning and quickly found the problem, a hole in the cap of the chimney where they were in the center mass and not in the flue. He was great at educating me on the types of bats in the area and their habits. He had a real simple fix of a "one way" door to let them out and a recommendation for someone to do the further repair. He checked the rest of the house for any other potential areas of entrance. He was there about an hour. My compliments to him and the rest of JP Pest for a very professional operation.
They helped out with a pantry pest issue and searched until the source was found. I highly recommend them.

Expensive service for hardly any results. They did inside and outside service on our house and didn't even notice a huge mouse nest right outside the bathroom. We had to remove it ourselves. What did we even pay for? I went to cancel & they charged me $75 just to cancel. Never will I use them again. Very unhappy with this company.

They were timely in a comprehensive inspection and assessment of the problem and then came back to do a thorough and complete job of getting the squirrels out and barring their re-entrance. They were real pros and I liked that the person doing the mitigation had a compassionate attitude about wildlife and birds.

Had service from JP pest for about a year, their full home protection program. Mice rotting in the walls was, according to them, the only way to manage the issue. I cancelled service - I can set traps myself as opposed to paying to have them poisoned, rotting in my walls. They were supposed to have taken down the bait stations, but surprise - they are all over the outside of my home in the lawn. Very unprofessional.
Crisis required I call for services (never have used a pest company previous). A friend recommended JP Pest. In short, we are quite happy with their work.
Technician was very professional and told us exactly what he was going to do prior to conducting a outside the building walk-around and looking for areas of entry in our living spaces and basement. He informed us what he found and what areas were of concern and implemented a prevention plan by spraying the outside area and added bait stations, as needed. When he finished he verbally informed us what he had done, who we should contact if a situation occurred prior to our next treatment and informed us a written report would be provided by email.

Always on time, very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend JP Pest services. They also treated a powder-post beetle issue we had in the back of our historic barn last fall, and we have not had an issue since. Their warranties offer peace of mind, and believe me, after trying to tackle the ant problems myself over and over again and failing, this was the smartest thing I did: Let JP Pest do it! You will be happy you did. They know what to look for, educate you along the way, and make sure the job is done right. Love their staff too, in the office, and in the field. Super helpful, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Great company all around.
This was my first time using this company. It was very easy to schedule and the person doing the scheduling was very knowledgeable about the service options for wasp control. On the day the service was performed, the technician called me to report what he was seeing for wasp nests under eaves and soffits and to report that the large nest we were concerned about seemed to be mostly inactive. He also recommended how to get rid of the nest by power-washing once the wasps were gone. Not something we had thought of and a good idea! I would definitely use JP Pest Services again.

When we asked to stop at Labine street and start at Coburn Woods they said the price would go up and it would have to be paid a year in advance. We said the house is smaller and there is no basement. Then asked if we had ever been late on paying a bill. The answer to that is never late. They said it didn't matter they would have to treat us like a new customer and that was that. We were told we could take our business elsewhere if we wanted. We have done so. Bain pest control. Hope we are as happy with them as we were with JP. Can not believe the office can treat good customers that way and survive. PS the people who came to Labine and Kittery ME address to do the work were always very nice. I am so ticked off if you feel like sharing this be my guest. PSS Asked to have the owner call and was told he doesn't get involved in matters like this.

Just had Jordan from JP Pest come out and thoroughly explain the services that they offer. Upon entering our home he took the time to put on shoe covers to walk around (which a majority of companies never do and we appreciated). He performed the necessary inside home and garage monitoring and also sprayed outside our foundation. He also put down some liquid ant bait that immediately attracts ants which allows them to bring their "score" back to the colony and eventually to the "queen" for the kill. We are having them come back in the next few days for their tick and mosquito yard spray. Everything was explained in detail and easy to understand. Highly recommended. Thanks Jordan!

I paid for a year of service in advance. I signed up for their quarterly service, & was told that they come out every quarter + when we need it. They repeatedly explained that anytime we have a bug or mice problem, we should call. Whenever I had an issue, I'd call the office, customer service was nice. Beyond the quarterly service, they came out probably 4 times all year. Sometimes because the technician was not prepared. I had called because we were having a fly issue, & when he came, he said he didn't have any fly traps, & would have to come back another time with one if we continued seeing flys. Another time they they said they would have the technician take a sample to their entomologist. He came, but didn't feel he needed to do that, so instead, insisted they were fruit fly's; despite the fact that we had no fruit for months, no sign of a fly infestation, etc. By that time, he gave us a little trap, & after awhile, we saw no more flys. Shortly after one of their visits, we found mouse droppings; so, of course we called them. They came out, replaced traps, & left. We continued seeing mice. Another technician doing a free inspection from a competing company said they were not using the right kind of traps; I honestly don't know, as he was likely simply trying to get my business. The fact is, they came out for the quarterly service, & 4 additional times, & seemed to have felt that was above & beyond what they should do. My point is, if there is a limit, they should tell the customer. In fact, the competing company that came out said that they come out 3 times per year instead of 4, & will come out an additional 2 times if needed. So, they have a clear policy limit to the amount of times they come out. Why does JP Pest Control not have a clearly stated policy limit, when they in fact have a limit? The last service I received was in April, 2016. The technician that came to do the service would not search for fleas (though we called in advance because of a flea issue), and said we would have to check and call if we saw any. Nor would he spray on the inside perimeter (we had been seeing spiders often). He stated that he didn't see any (as if spiders would be hanging out 24/7 in plain site), & that if I had a problem, I would need to call the office when I see them. So, the next morning, with 2 1/2 months to go, they tell me that they won't renew my contract because basically, they came out more than the quarterly service allotted. They didn't state that specifically, & made an attempt at saying it nicely, alluding to the fact that they didn't feel they could "service my needs." I did in fact want to keep the service, because I not want to find another company at the start of spring. I mentioned the fact that despite it being my last service, the technician refused to spray inside my house. Their response was basically to say that he did, & there was no reason to come out & spray again. I was there, he refused to inspect for fleas (even though they told my wife the same week all of these tips to prepare for treatment, & that he would inspect the house for fleas). She left with our two kids specifically because she was expecting the flea treatment as told to her by their customer service. It seems that if you do have them come out when there is an issue, & they feel they have come out too much, than they cancel the contract. If they had said in the beginning that they have a quarterly service, & will come out an extra 1 or 2 times, I would have understood that. It's their policy to state they come out anytime I need them; our service should not have been canceled because they decided it was too much for them to honor their own policy. Update: After all of this, they refunded my last quarterly service, & I thought that was the end of it. Weeks later, I then receive a bill for over $110, & had to sit on hold for several minutes waiting for a customer service agent; only to be told that they would have someone contact me. So now, after all of these other issues, I have to dispute a bill.

JP Pest is by far the best and easiest company to work with. Their flexibility, ease of payment, and all inclusive service is what has made me a lifetime subscriber! As long as you subscribe to their Service, and anything happens outside of your Quarterly service, they will come out for free and rid your house of any additional problems you might have with critters etc. Rest assured this will be your last stop to keep your house clean of Rodents for your family!

I was told it was too late to treat and I had to put up with them...but IF I signed up for regular quarterly service I would get treatment for THIS year but when I called today (after seeing quite a few stink bugs already ) I was told not only are they not COMING to treat but they finished treating for the season and I was NOT on the list! These people bait and switch...they NEVER told me I had to call for a SPECIAL stink bug treatment AND that this treatment was $500 MORE...but SOLD me FOUR quarterly treatments which I did NOT want...ALL I WANTED WAS treatment for the stink bugs! AND...when I said OK then...I dont want your quarterly treatment...they say if you cancel its $99.00 cancellation fee...TOTAL SCAMMERS!

We had a (yuk) rat problem. Old buildings were being demolished in our neighborhood and these creatures had no where to go. They decided to make our cellar their new home. It has taken a while but they are gone! All of the staff at JP are great, from office help to the techs. Very polite and they know their stuff, answered any questions that we had and offered sound advice. I would gladly and have recommended them and would use them again.

I paid for a year of service in advance. I signed up for their quarterly service, & was told that they come out every quarter + when we need it.
