They came by my house after 7pm and rang my doorbell that has a "No Soliciting" sign attached to it, inside a gated community that also has "No Soliciting" signs posted in order to solicit new business! They woke up my kids and interrupted our evening. Even if we were shopping for pest control, this takes them out of all consideration. Change your business practices and teach your salespeople how to read.

So after living in my townhome for over a year, I suddenly started losing the fight against the ants invading my kitchen. Not only that but I suddenly started to notice roaches and spiders in the garage and with a 6 week old and a senior dog, these bugs were creeping a little too close to home. My property manager recommended Moxie who I called right away. Lia took my call and explained the services and contract thoroughly. I appreciate their warranty because they’ll come out as part of your contract at any time if problems persist. The next morning, Adam and Adleigh came out to service the property. They were here on time and walked me through their findings all while being kind, courteous, thorough and patient, and putting my concerns about baby and pet safety to rest. Nobody wants to deal with bugs but they’re part of the territory if you chose the desert for your home. There’s no better team to have in your corner in the fight against bugs than Moxie. When we moved into our new house we discovered the neighborhood had a scorpion problem. I was so freaked out! I have lived here my whole life and NEVER ever did I see a scorpion before moving into this house. We were using another company and it just wasn't working. I found scorpions alive inside the house even after they just sprayed. Since we have been using Moxie I haven't see anything in several months! No scorpions and they don't spray inside our house, they power spray outside. I'm really happy with their service and highly recommend them. Thank you Adam for taking good care of us!

As usual Moxie service was very through. They give me notice the day before they come, spray around the whole perimeter of the yard and house with extra attention to areas where I have ant hills. I don't expect to be ant free, but with four times a year spraying there are far less of them. And I rarely see spiders or roaches. I am very pleased with their service.

I’m planning on SWITCHING pest controls company since Moxie Pest Control continues to not inform me properly when they are arriving to my home. I would only receive and email and text THE DAY BEFORE and would always have to reschedule because they would never told me a time and it was always ‘between 10-1 pm’ never an accurate time always between which makes it very hard for me to plan my day. I pay $120 quarterly for a service that doesn’t even tell me that they are arrived. I received a text at 8 am saying that the field expert is at my house and will wait 20 minutes. First, I wasn’t even told a proper time for this treatment. How was I supposed to know they were coming at 8am? THE FIELD EXPERT FAILED TO CALL ME OR RING MY DOOR BELL. I had only received a text message, which is pathetic. It’s annoying to always have to reschedule over and over again because someone fails to even ring a door bell. I’ve tried to cancel my account for a while but I was told I can’t due to my contract. If you’re looking for a pest control company I would go somewhere that is much more AFFORDABLE.

I originally signed up because they were going around the neighborhood offering a neighbor discount (one of my neighbors had scheduled them and instead of going to the neighborhood multiple times, they offered a discount so they can do all the neighbors in one day.) They use all-natural products and have a fantastic warranty. Every time I need them to come outside of my quarterly visits, they are very easy to schedule with. Tate and Cody came by recently and they are very professional and nice. They even sweep around the doors to my house to keep the areas clean. Plus, after each treatment, you get a summarized receipt of the pests that were targeted and what was done. Great service!

Adam Whitmore was very kind and helpful the first time he came out. I explained my concern about scorpions being in a certain area and he took the initiative to take extra time to treat that area. Clean, courteous, knowledgeable reps. Text 30 min before they arrive. Always come out in between calls when I have any problems. And the bugs go away! Highly recommend this pest control company. I tried a couple of different places but they are not reliable and it’s a different person each time. I usually get the same 2 guys. That’s comforting.

Living with and taking care of my grandma, my first concern has to be her. We've seen one scorpion in the house that was very likely brought in from outside [it was in my mom's cooling cloth that she had been out with and fell into the sink when she went to wet it again. And another in between the window and the screen in the winter, we were told it was likely drawn to the heat of the house. So when a couple of Moxie reprentitives came by with their sales pitch, including, "Your neighbors are having it done and the insects have to go somewhere..." which made me uneasy because I saw it as a veiled threat and thought it was a bit heavy handed... especially in a retirement community where that isn't just a heavy handed threat, but a threat of death [not a death threat but... death threat by proxy?]. Anyway we signed up, they said the first treatment would be $89, and then $129 quarterly. Awesome! Sounds great! But. But then my grandma comes out the following day [yesterday] and tells me she made a mistake with Moxie. She tells me they are coming back in two weeks to treat again, to spray for scorpion eggs, and it's going to cost $129 on top of the $89 they just charged!!! [Scorpipns are freaks, they give birth to live young, not eggs. Huh... I smell... I smell something that rhymes with ham... SCAM!!!] Anyway my mom called because my gramma called her before she came into the living room to tell me, my mom got them to cancel the charges and service... which really sucks because... the guys from Moxie were right, the bugs are going to go to the places that haven been treated... that makes sense. I do wonder if whatever they use legit deters bugs, or if it's just... water and... whatever. I think a service like this, with danger of increase bugs [scorpions!!!], especially in a retirement community where a sting can be fatal, should be something everyone in the area agree to and pay for as it directly effects those nearby. Anyway seriously not liking how they use the fact that others in the neighborhood are getting it done so either we get it done or all the bugs will come here. The idea that they're using that threat on other people in this area infuriates me to no end!! I'm disabled as well, brain swelling, so I'm worried if I get stung it'll increase blood pressure and make me have a stroke or have seizures.

I do not use this service however I did have someone from your business soliciting at my door in Anthem. When I tried to politely say no, he became very pushy. He asked if I owned the house and if there was someone else in charge of the house. After being told no multiple times, He came back later the same day around 8pm. I understand the business is trying to get new customers, however I did not appreciate the pushiness of the salesman and the late time they came to my door. I also found it very unnerving when they asked if there was someone else in the house they could talk to. I wish you guys luck in your business, but please ask your salesman to respect 'No thank You' as an answer.

I highly recommend this company. I saw one bug in 3 months and called immediately to have them spray again. I called late yesterday and Easton has all ready sprayed and left. They are fast and efficient at their job. Easton was so nice. All of the people I've dealt with are great.

Their technicians have always been friendly, informative and willing to work with us to customize a treatment plan for our needs. Derek was at our house today, and was personable, professional, and got the job done quickly. I've always had great customer service over the phone. Their website is easy to navigate, & very convenient for editing payment methods, etc.. We've been customers since June 2017, and haven't had any problems. A few bugs in the house here and there, but nothing crazy; probably due to the fact that we chose to only have the outside treated, even though they say the chemicals are safe for children & pets. It's just a personal choice we made. If we had the inside treated as well, I'm sure it would take care of the occasional bug we see. The special granules they use, along with the spray is more effective than their competitors, so they only have to come by every 3 months, as opposed to every other month, like our previous pest control company. The cost is slightly higher than we were paying before (less than $4 more per month), but I think having the better product makes it worthwhile. Overall, great experience with this company!
