Although I have made repeated requests in person to the applicators and 3 calls to the office, Spring Touch Lawn and Pest Control does not notify me before they arrive so I can open the back gate and remove my pets. The only reason I have even received any services is because I work from home on occasion and happened to be here the days they have arrived (with the exception of one.) My last phone call to the manager, I was assured that I would receive a personal phone call notifying me of my scheduled service. I'm sorry to say that they arrived today without notification again. I wish to cancel the balance of my contract and want assurance that my contract will not auto renew next year so I can go back to Tru-Green where I did not have this issue. Thanks.

Had similar experience with customer services as Mike. Purchased aeration and treatment. After aeration, no watering instructions (even though they were mention in paperwork left behind) were given until I later contacted company. Company offered to redo in the fall, but I would be unable to water properly at that time and unwilling to wait a year for services. After talking with numerous representatives rehashing situation and getting no where, I am done with this company. Use this company for spraying if you must, but I would NOT recommend the aeration and seeding.

I was not impressed with my first application of granular fertilizer with crabgrass control because the technician dumbed a pile of granulars in one area, which killed my grass. Update: On my next application the technician dug out this area and put fresh dirt and new grass seed down and filled in several other spots around my yard that did not have good grass growth. I am now very impressed and happy with my services provided by Spring Touch!

We have never used a lawn service and have been 'do it yourself' lawn owners for many years. We mow about 2 1/2 acres. For the past several years the dandelions, clover and other weeds just kept getting worse. We realized that it didn't cost much more to hire these guys than it would to purchase the product and do it ourselves. We are astounded at the difference two applications have made. Even our kids have commented on how much better the grass looks. We thought it would take a year or so to notice improvement -- it was that bad -- but it looks great already. We are so happy that we hired this company!

*Update number 2. Their customer service, which has always been pleasant, did make a mistake with my refund cut acknowledged and fixed the mistake. Furthermore they are promising to update their website with educational resources pertaining to their weed spray and its safety around gardens. Their willingness to admit mistakes and work to fix them changes everything. I am changing my rating from 1 star to 4 stars and I will likely use this service next Summer or maybe even this Fall. Good on you Spring Touch. *Update. After all of this, and repeated assurances that I would be called before a weed treatment so that I could cover up my garden and prevent cross contamination with the weed treatment, I received an email notice that my law was visited at 3pm the previous day for the weed treatment. No phone call, no voice mail, no opportunity to cover up my gardens to prevent contamination. I have requested a refund and am awaiting the results. Very disappointed. Disappointed. Customer service was courteous and kind, but places a greater emphasis on closing the sale than they do on educating a potential customer. I am not a horticulturalist. I don't know the questions I am supposed to ask. All I know is I want to kill the weeds in my yard. I asked for a heads up before they show up to kill the weeds so I can protect my garden against the spray. I got a voice mail from them saying they are coming out the next day so I spend all night throwing a tarp over my garden only to find out it's just a fertilizer treatment today. That's a very frustrating experience that could have been prevented if their representative had simply explained this process from the beginning.

Pre-purchased their full season lawn care package with an add on aeration service. First visit the representative was on my property for under 10 minutes (completed about 5 minutes of work) and took off. I watched as he looped around the front lawn once and the side once and took off. Not only did he not do anything in my back yard at all, but there's absolutely no way he used 48 lbs of treatment (according to the receipt he left on the door) and he came no where near treating the entire yard. Called customer service and first was told they would contact the lawn care manager and fix the problem. After a short discussion, the representative proceeded to tell me people often "over-estimate" the time it takes to do the work. Needless to say I requested a full refund and cancelled the service. These guys are a joke - I'd suggest using a reputable company or doing the work yourself.

When we bought this "flipped" home, the yard was in really rough shape - lots of weeds, bare spots, thin grass, etc... It wasn't as obvious from the street, but it was in very rough shape. We have had another company work on our lawn but were not happy with them. Spring Touch is less expensive, better results and more professional on all levels. They care about their service and check in to see if we are satisfied. Although we have been very happy with their work, it's nice to know that if we had a problem, they would make it right. We now have a lush, green, weed free lawn. We highly recommend Spring Touch!

Unfortunately I would not be able to recommend Spring Touch for Lawn Care service. We really had poor service right out of the gate: starting with the pre-payment for a full year of service with aeration. Their very first visit was suppose to have been the aeration, so that the lawn could be seeded and then fertilized... but not only did they show up and fertilize first, but they did not even go into the backyard (1/2+) of the property; I know because my home office window faces the only double gated access to the backyard. I immediately called the company for which they apologized and said they would return to complete the job as was originally discussed. But then they returned on a day that wasn't scheduled to do it, and their call-ahead "appointment" reminder call came the day AFTER they were here. The entire summer really seemed to go on like this (they NEVER did fertilize our lawn beyond our back fence - can't be missed visually because we have a decorative 4 foot fence). When I received an automatic renewal notice, I immediately picked up the phone to speak with someone: it took a few days for the "right" person to finally call me back and even then they basically only offer me the same discount I had the year before for pre-paying. I get it, when you have a lot of customers, then a company can take the position of not feeling like they need to make sure every one is taken care of with the same equal care. But, I'll admit it was really disappointing as I would rather support a local business than some big national chain. I also expect to get good service for a fair price and unfortunately the value and integrity here was really lacking. Moving on, regrettably.

Really just get fertilizer for the cost asked the technician about some brown spots and was told that is an extra charge. They also ruined a corner of my yard with their spreader while it was raining by running through making sharp turns and spinning the tires. I would never allow them in my yard.

We started with Spring Touch Pest Control over 2 years ago. My Mom used the lawn service and has a beautiful lawn again. We live in a wooded area abutting a slough and farm. The mosquitoes and Deer Flies make it unbearable to go out the door. Their service makes it possible to enjoy being outside. We don't see ticks, mosquitoes and the Deer Flies have reduced. Wonderful and friendly service. :)

Wish I would have done this sooner. Last year I kept seeing the spring touch sign in peoples yards, this Spring I finally called spoke with Nate. He was great he answered all of my questions before and after becoming a customer. Yesterday I saw my first (and only) mosquito in my house and today I got home from work and Spring Touch had been there this morning to spray. I will be mosquito free for the 4th of July. No question you will see the yard sign at my house again next year.

Awful is really the only way to describe this business. I would encourage all consumers to stay away. I lived in Mankato for three and a half years and replaced two back flow valves and a busted pipe. The latter I had to fix myself because they were too lazy to come out and fix. But they said they would GIVE me the parts to fix it. Yet I was later charged for them. For the last back flow valve change I told them "you need to come out and fix this at no cost." Customer service agreed and sent a tech. Then of course 2 weeks later I was billed. I called to complain, and they put this guy on the phone who droned on and on about how it wasn't their fault, something is wrong with the house. Their tactic worked I couldn't take the bs spewing forth and hung up. If it truly was a problem with something other than their shoddy work then why not tell me? I lined your pockets for three summers. Shame on me. I'm so glad I no longer deal with this company.

Bought a new house and the yard needed alot of work, weeds everywhere so i decided to pay these guys. Need to find techs who care about their job. I have had them for 1 year and never once was pleased. The first guy came and went through the yard so fast never actually took the time to get everywhere, the liquid application was first done with a backpack sprayer that was never once refilled while they were here but yet somehow used over 12 gallons. Called back to have it redone and they sent someone on a cart who was here twice as long but was to lazy to every get off the cart and use a wand so you can see exactly where he drove because the chemicals work but the people don't. I have rocks and woodchips but you can't tell because the only thing you can see is weeds I told them to spray it because there are no flowers there but it never once got sprayed. Never know when they will show up. So make sure you can schedule your life around what works for them.

Run from this service, we had a contract for mosquito spraying and lawn service. They sprayed for mosquitos right before a rain storm to fulfill the contract and did it right before a storm because it fit their schedule. Rain washes away the chemical so it did no good. We had a graduation with many mosquitoes. We complained and they offered to respray for free. We said ok but canceled our contact because of this and other issues with the service. They charged for respray because we were not under contract any longer after they commited to reapply the mosquito spray at no charge (not telling us upfront that they would charge for the reapply). Not the best customer service or business ethics.

We've been using Spring Touch for three years. The first year was a gamble. We knew little about them but saw some of our neighbors using them. The second year was a no-brainer. Our lawn had never looked better than the previous year. With their reasonable rates, it seemed silly to try to replicate what they were able to do. We've also just signed up for their pest control. Instead, after cancelling the service several times, we were still charged. It was impossible to get a response on a very simple issue.
