Where do I begin. A salesmen, who was smart enough to not put his name on the card he gave me, came to my neighborhood to sale products. I am in sales, but I live my daily life with MUCH more integrity than what my experience consisted of here. To start, they had one price on the cards he showed but he was mentioning a $99.00 price. At some point I mentioned that I was not interested and he then back tracked to tell me he would say I recommended my neighbor and get me money off. Now, I could recieve my services at $49.99 plus tax. Wow! We are having a large party at my house and if for nothing else I figured I could spend that in able to clean up webs and such around the house/yard. I was not in the market for a one year subscription of the service that they are selling. A few times through the process the rep had mentioned that he would call in after and tell "them" I changed my mind on the one year service package. I did not catch that until towards the end when he had repeated the phrase. See, through the entire sale an agreement, let alone a year long one, was NEVER mentioned. As I sign on the iPad, I happen to have read the T&C. It mentions that if service is canceled I would owe for the total price of services recieved, I may assume that would be the pricing of $249 listed on the cards he had. He apologized and said that it was his fault (by the way, yes it is. And I would encourage you to not have a job where you feel like you need to con-people out of money to make a living). He left, as I was disappointed in his tactics as well as had no trust for him to cancel my order. I immediately called into the number listed online, they were closed so I left a VM. I called a second number, listed on the card for "new customers" and left another VM, and the next day I did not get a call. So, at 10am I called in and spoke to a real person, explained to her what happened and said I DO NOT WANT ANY OF YOUR SERVICES. CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT. Well, I left the state that day for the weekend, only to come home to find out they did indeed preform the appointment. And now, I have been charged. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating. I am all for local business' but absolutely not this. They are clearly disorganized, considering not one person had the decency to call me back regarding my frustrating experience and some how the services were never cancelled even when I spoke to someone in person. Under my recommendation, don't get services here. This $49 has wasted hours of my time. And I really hate to spend money with people who do not even have it in them to tell me the truth of what they're selling. If I could, I'd give a zero.

They will stick you with a $290 bill if you cancel before the 1 year commitment. They will tell you its OK that they charge this because that is what the telephone carriers do so I guess that makes it OK. Buyer beware!!!!

First off, their treatment does not work. Now to the shady type business this is, do not use this company even if it is the last pest company on the planet. These guys came soliciting at my house to treat our home for pests( I regret having these guys come to my property) sales guys told me that I had to just signup for one treatment and if it worked to go ahead and call so they can do more. Well when I signed apparently the contract on their iPad was different from what their sales people told me. Signing meant that I signed up for 4 treatments and which meant if their treatment didn't work and I wanted to cancel they'd be charging me 140 bucks. I wish I knew this ahead of time from their sales people when they came soliciting the first time, I would never have used them. This company is very dishonest and as shady as they come and stay away from them, save your money for more honest and trustworthy companies or else you'll end up in a position like mine. They don't even deserve a star. Very frustrating UPDATE: As of today, I received a call from one of the reps (Britney) from insight pest solutions and she was able to further talk to me about the experience I described above. The company was able to correct the wrong that was done to me, and the misunderstanding was completely resolved. I feel like it is my responsibility to revise my previous review because the company did reach out to me and we both were able to come to an understanding, My only advice is that please inform your door to door sales people to explain everything in regards to the contract clearly so that the prospective customer can make an informed decision before signing anything. Thanks again for your prompt response and resolution of this issue.

Worst company to deal with. I cancelled with Monica on 4-6-18 at 11 am, they still show up and then try billing me. They threaten collection. If you sign up with this company I wish you luck. No different than hoodlum with a gun.

Crooks!!! We have a terrible snow storm the day before the technician came out. The entire month was snowing and a lot of snow had accumulated over time where it was over 4 ft tall. Technician still came out and billed me for a bogus service. They stated they treated my home, around the windows and door. When I checked, there was no fresh foot print on my side walk or my property where my windows were. Remember we have over 4 ft of snow on the ground and around all my big windows. I checked my camera and no one walked around the house. I see the technician pull up and sit in his van. A couple of minutes later, he walked up to the front door and put the bill on my front door handle and walk back into the car and drove off. Where is the integrity in their work? I called and they said they'll come out and they never did. So I cancel and now I am stuck with a bill that they never did service. They were supposed to come back for the final SERVICE and they never did!!! CROOKS!!!

We had a gentlemen come to our door and offer service at a discounted rate because he was servicing a number of houses in the area on the same day. He was extremely polite and explained what Insight offered and what he recommended, which we followed. The technician came out and was also polite and very quick about his work. We had to move some things from under our sinks so he could place ant traps, but otherwise he wasn't an inconvenience whatsoever. We had to have a 2nd spray about 6 weeks after the initial spray. Again, the technician was very courteous and even knowledgeable. It has been 2-3 weeks and this time there is a noticeable drop in the number of spiders. Overall, great customer service from the techs, and we also received follow-up calls from admins checking on us to see if we were happy with the service and to see if they could do anything to fix it.

Super professional, courteous, and did a thorough job. Gave me tips I can do for reducing bugs and gave me a number to call for an issue to be resolved. I'm still on the fence as to if I will keep Insight after my year is up, but if Trevor is our tech, it sure would help!

Horrible company to do business with. Poor customer service, lacks integrity and would never do bua Ness with them again. I called to cancel service because it wasn’t working. Charl s asked if I was smart because a smart person would not drop their service. I was in the phone for over 30 minutes with this hard sell of something that wasn’t working. They told me that they get a 90 day notice so it would be a $249 cancellation penalty. He threatened that they could come after me with lawyers. He told me I had to learn to not be frustrated. So I said, you want me to stay with you for more money than a competitor, for a service that isn’t working (their product is all natural so it deters peats whixh is hard to control flying pests like hornets) and we happy. He said, yes but without the sarcasm. I have to call back within the proper window to cancel. It’s a game with them and they are horrible. It would have been better for them to just let me Cancel then fight with me and call me names.

if there is a zero rating, I will give it a zero. A guy came around our neighborhood and explain the one year service and never explained the prepayment penalty that they will charge if you are not HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE, he basically told me to sign here (my bad, I know , but who charge prepayment penalty - especially if their service sucks) the primary reason I avail of their service is for the ants that are going through our patio door and they are still there. I treated the ants with over the counter insect spray and worked better. I was charged $150 prepayment penalty. I hope no one ever sign up for this service.

An Insight salesperson came to my home and I signed up for their services. After I received the contract via email, I changed my mind. I contacted Insight two days later and they canceled my contract with no questions asked. They were very professional and cheerful.

Do not use or sign up for insight pest solution.... not only do they not do good work... the people they have selling it to u are not trained... when I signed up the guy took my info, credit card email all that... signed me up for auto pay through the tablet he had... we received 2 treatments and they stopped showing up... I then get a letter now few months later saying I owe 353 dollars past due... I call them and say I have all the paperwork and receipt for the confirmation that I was set up for auto pay... I ask them well shouldn't I have gotten an email saying I have past due payments? lady says I'm sorry Sr. we don't have an email on this account... I lost it... I said here's what's gonna happen... I'm gonna pay for the 2 services u gave me... and u are gonna take off the late fees, early termination fee and collection fee... she said I'm sorry we can't waive them... after talking with 2 other people I got all fees waived and my service canceled... when I paid what I owed I had my credit card in hand prepared to give her the number and she says should she apply the balance to the card they have on file.... OMG!!!!.... share this post! Long story short... Don't use Insight pest solutions for your home!!!! They are terrible! Go with Rove... they are a little more expensive but they did much better work for me in the past... Im beyond pissed!!!!

Even if your services are great we will never go with you. Big mistake going door to door at 9:30 pm on a week night and ringing the doorbell on a house with lights out and a toddler sleeping. Please make sure your salesmen use some common sense. There are quite a handful of people in my neighborhood extremely irritated...

Truly above and beyond as he cleared out some mice in my garage traps too - yuck! He didn't care at all as I asked him to check several different spots - super patient!

As I was reading the reviews (unfortunately to late) one person asked if there was anyway of rating them a ZERO. That is exactly how I feel. It is a very good thing that we have completed our one year agreement!!!!! This has been the biggest waste of my money!!!! I never seen much difference in the before and the after. After this recent visit we have just as many ants and box-elder bugs as before. My husband tried for three days trying to get a hold of someone to ask them to come out and take care of the problem. He held forever and eventually left messages that were never returned. When he finally had time enough to stay on hold he held for over 20 minutes only to speak to someone that couldn't do anything to help, we needed to schedule someone to come out and do it again but she could not do that and she would have someone call THAT NIGHT to schedule. I should have known better than to sign up with a company that just showed up at my doorstep without checking them out. Since it seems that the only response you get is from these reviews I am putting it out there that this is my written notice to cancel my account. ( along with the email that I sent to their contact us email ) the order number on my last statement is 1357269 and the location/bill to is 88761. I would think this would be enough information to find my account.

Wasn't impressed at all with the salesman, train your sales staff to read and understand that no soliciting means no soliciting. When you see that sign, walk away immediately. The salesman was high pressure and didn't want to take no for an answer. He also told me that my next door neighbor was using your product. Upon checking with my neighbor, he told me that this was the biggest waste of nearly $500.00 that he had ever spent. He used the system last year for 4 treatments and is cancelling for future treatments. My neighbor also said that his first treatment was a couple of minutes with a few squirts under the kitchen sink. He also said that their outside winter treatment showed no footsteps around the perimeter of his house in the fresh snow.

I am not a fan of bugs inside my house! Insight pest solutions is back again--for 3 years straight and I love their service. Today, Technician Richae was on time, super sweet, explained everything to me again (even though I'm a repeat customer), and did a thorough job BOTH inside and outside of my house. She spent nearly an hour de-webbing, and then applying the treatment. I have never had any issues and love that if I see extra bugs between treatments I can call and they come right out at no extra charge. On a side note--I really don't mind the door-to-door sales technique. I appreciate young people getting out there on hot summer days trying to make a living. So be kind to them--maybe offer them a drink, a chance to use the bathroom? Most of them are young college students who could use a little encouragement and a smile.

We had service with Insight for almost 18 months from the time we moved in until we left for a lower cost provider. With in 6 months the frequency in which we saw spiders increased dramatically and the woodpeckers returned to our siding. We made the switch back to Insight and after the first treatment it’s evident that they go the extra mile to make sure everything is completed well and will meet the concerns of the home owner. I am confident that we will get the same level of protection we had before leaving. Techs have always been very professional and courteous.

Should be zero stars - This company is a scam. Tactics as shady as the come. The company gets an A+ from the BBB. However the owner of the company is also on the board of BBB!!! "Adam Villareal look it up" They use tricky door to door tactics and have tricked many people into a product that doesn't work. Then when you complain or have a problem they send it to collections for not paying. They tried sold my wife $100 treatment for 2 services. however she got locked into a year contract for $500 unbeknownst to her. They came back a year later and tried the same scheme again. I looked at the tricks and have admit its very tempting. Do it yourself and pass on these guys

Do not do business with this company! Their door-to-door salesperson lied to me. I specifically asked him if we could cancel at any time and he said yes. When i called after 6 months because my spider problem was as bad as ever, i was told that I signed up for a 1 year contract and that I would have to pay $220 to get out of it. Everything they told me their products would take care of has not happened. Waste of money!

This was my first review done around 3 months ago: I have called twice asking for a response to bad service. Called again and left a message with one of the phone assistants to inform them of poor service. Phone assistant said they would call back. No call since! On their website they say they will take care of spider webs. When they called me to set up my most resent service, they asked me if there were any bugs or mice that we had a problem with. I specifically told them there were spider nests(webs) in my home and that I wanted someone to take care of them. The tech arrived, he told me they did not have a tool long enough to reach my ceiling height to get the webs or nests and that I had to remove them as my “homework.” He then proceed to the exterior where he seemed to find a tool to brush the exterior of my house(higher than my interior ceilings). He was inside my house for a VERY SHORT amount of time. Since then, my spider infestation is everywhere and the centipede issue has increased(along with other nastiness of the depth.) I have found more bugs in my home than ever before. I would highly recommend that if you are looking for a pest removal company to go somewhere else. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!! P.S. The original call was for mice and bugs. I do have to say (as of TODAY) the mice have seemed to move on.

After trying several services, we have happily settled on Insight Pest Solutions. Our provider, Trevor, is professional, friendly, thorough and helpful. He takes his time, listens to and addresses any concerns, and does a complete home inspection and treatment with each visit. Additionally, they respond immediately to any unforeseen issues (like a critter in the house!). We live in the woods on a lake, and they have completely eliminated our spider and ant issues, that two other services could not help us eliminate. Trevor and Insight are the best providers we’ve used and we highly recommend their services.

We just had our second treatment and Halley has been great to deal with both times. She is very personable, courteous, and took the time to make sure that we understood how the treatments work. We live next to a heavily wooded nature preserve so trapping mice has always been apart of our fall to do list and our total number so far is many, many, times fewer than in past years. Horrible experience. Informed the first technician of the issues we were having with ants, wasps and rodents. She told us that she couldn't do anything for the rodents other than to provide us sticky traps. We waiting a few weeks as we were told it takes time for the treatment to work, but there was no progress and our issues worsened. I called to cancel service and request a refund. The first rep sounded sympathetic and told me he'd see what he could do to provide a refund, and then I was transferred to a 'supervisor' who informed me that a refund was not possible, but instead they would come retreat for 'free.' I explained that based on website reviews it appears that they were supposed to ID problem areas and seal them rather than just hand us a stack of sticky traps, and they agreed that should have occurred. The second technician seemed to do a better job than the first as she identified a tree in our woods that contained carpenter ants and plugged some gaps in our garage with steel wool to prevent rodents from entering. We waited a few weeks for the treatment to work, but once again the issues we were experiencing did not improve and only worsened. It seemed as though whatever they put in our house was drawing pests in rather than removing them. My husband took matters into his own hands and identified several areas in our garage that the rodents could have been getting in, trapped the rodents and sealed the gaps. I called to cancel service and request a refund, and again the first rep acted sympathetic, agreed that it sounded as though their treatment was ineffective, then transferred me to a 'supervisor' who again informed me that they could retreat for 'free' but would not refund the service. After much discussion, he later informed me that to cancel I would actually have to pay MORE money because the first treatment was a special price when I signed up for the quarterly service. I agreed to a 2nd retreat and insisted that the technician come to our house that night for a retreat, but they were unable to accommodate. When I called to find out when a tech would be available for a retreat they simply didn't' return my call. At last we were able to cancel service at a $100 loss. If you're considering this service, walk away! Save yourself several hundred dollars by purchasing pest control products on your own, you'll save money and see better results!

Where do I begin... two treatments and there are still ants and bugs in my house. Also, they treated for moles and instead of treating my entire yard they treat the areas that they are in. What does this do? pushes the moles farther in my yard!!! Oh there's more. We have a a creek behind my house and me and the sales guy knew that mosquito treatment wouldn't be worth the $100 bucks. Well the person providing the treatment didn't advise my wife of that and sprayed for the mosquitoes and we still have mosquitoes. Shocker! Now when I go to cancel they want to charge me another $150 to cancel. So am out $350 for NOTHING!!! Thanks alot Insight!!! I'll be spreading the word!!!! My advise would be to do the job right the first time. If you think it's going to take 2-3 treatments to begin with, then let your customers know. I have wasted my time and effort to get you guys back out. I shouldn't have to waste my time for a paid for service. Or provide more treatments the first time around so you don't have to come a second time. Get rid of the cancellation fee cause in the future if I wanted to try it again. Guess where I'm not going! PS I want my money back!!!!

Everyone has been professional that I've dealt with. There was some mixup about adding the mole service, but they made it right with me quickly--I was pleased by their customer service. I must commend my technician, Halley Gruber, for finding a mouse entry spot near where my AC enters the house. She plugged it with steel wool and we have (fingers crossed) eliminated the problem. Others, myself and husband included, have looked for entry spots and never saw that one.

So, this blonde kid came to my door while only my wife and kids were home. He spoke to my 7 year old daughter at length about if she was a trouble maker, what she likes to do, what she likes to eat, if she likes to play outside, etc, before my wife came to the door. It was rather strange. He gave my wife his card out of Eden Prairie. Later after I got home and she told me about it, I saw him wandering through our yard. I went out and asked why he was asking my daughter creepy questions... He got all shifty and told me, "You are the one being creepy." I said, "Excuse me? You are standing here on MY property! I own the land you are standing on, and I will be as creepy as I want!" He proceeded to tell me they would have trucks up and down the street tomorrow "at Tim and Bob and Sue's house." he said and pointed in random directions. I asked him where his solicitor's permit was, he said, "Here it is." and showed me his work badge for Insight. I told him that was not a solicitor's permit. He assured me they had one. I asked if he had acquired it from the city or the county. He then tried to say that he has one from the city, but totally mangled our town's name. Anyway, life is usually better when people don't wander across my property, ask creepy questions to my daughter, and then get in my face in my own driveway.

Greg knocked on the door to let us know he was here and were there any specific problems we were having and since we've had a few mice show up he set up a trap to, hopefully, catch the little bugger[s]. I was not impressed with the service. I saw twice as many spiders and had webbing outside my front door twice as bad as before the service. Then when I tried to cancel the next appointment, they came to my house when I was not home and provided service that I had cancelled and automatically deducted my account for a service I did not want. Trying to end my account with this company is like dealing with a whole new kind of pest! They want me to pay for a service I specifically canceled and it has taken me weeks and many phone calls to cancel my account with them!

This low review is solely because of the mis-handling of Insight being bought out by Terminex. There was ZERO communication to me as a customer about this. With technicians coming to my HOME it would be very important to know this information when someone would want to gain access into my home. What a terrible company - do not go with them and I'll explain why. At first they go through your neighborhood, a nice guy walking around showing you on the Ipad the other neighbors who signed up. It's not cheap by any means but they do a fair job on the service part. My gripe is their customer service. We went to cancel, had written confirmation but they still came out to service & charge us. I reached back out but never heard back. I then got a call from a "retention specialist" (my take was 3rd party company they use) badgering me and arguing with me about the e-mail I received. This is a TERRIBLE business model. If people want to cancel, you should thank them for their business, appreciate them and end the relationship positively. I know view these guys as "sharks" out in the pest world. They have nice people that come to your house but I'd choose a different service or at least call around. This is NOT the way to run a business.

AVOID! If I could do less than one star, I would. First of all, the doo-to-door guy lied about the terms/price of the service. He was not honest on what we would be paying for a FULL YEAR of "service". And the "service" is NOT even close to being worth what it cost. The fall & winter "treatments" of cleaning up a few cob-webs and adding a few mouse traps cost well over $100 each time. If you have an outside issue, maybe they can help you, but DO NOT sign up for a full year.

Door man came to our door and pulled a bait and switch. We were ready to cancel our credit card because we thought we had been scammed. Then once they finally came the bees and ants all came back. 3 months later we get an email that the $90 service fee is due. We called to cancel because we had no idea this was something we signed up for and they couldn't do a thing. They're revenue people charge around a total of $400 to cancel something we had no idea we signed up for. The manager was respectful, but not helpful. He did what he could to "get us a deal". We never had a huge bug issue in the first place and it wasn't a service we were looking to get. I'm hoping to come back and at least review that their product works after we get to pay for 4 treatments we didn't even want. As of now, I would recommend looking for a company that can take a few hits canceling accounts versus this one thats revenue service doesn't know how to take a hit.

You will see better results from off the shelf products sold at retail stores. Salesman doing door to door sales should ha e already been a red flag. Money back guarantee is a joke as well. Read the fine print people. Salesman guaranteed that they would take care of our mole problem in the yard and the ants and spiders around the home or our money back. Their money back only applies to the interior of your home. They didn’t take care of the moles, ants, or spiders. So just like everyone else I called to cancel because they failed to do what they said they would do. I even allowed them to come out and try to take care of the problem on three different occasions. So alas they want to charge me the cancellation fee and the amount discounted to close my account early even though they failed on their service agreement as stated by the salesman. I’m sure we’ll see some automated response to this review... sorry for your misunderstanding blah blah blah. I’m certain this company makes all of its money off of customer cancellations and not their actual service.

The door to door salesman of this company use pressure sales and shady tactics to get you into the discounted rate, however what they don't specify during this initial sales pitch is that while you can cancel at any time you are required to pay back the discount you initially received. At one point it cost all of $20 more to receive two months more treatment as it would for me to cancel my service due to paying back the "discount". Now I have completed my year long contract and am looking to cancel my services, I received a Robo call on 5/29 about a service I was going to receive on 6/1 so I called the number listed in the voicemail to work on cancelling and promptly sat on hold for ten minutes. I was able to leave a voicemail with my contact information and what I was looking for at the time. So far I have not heard back from the agency and when I tried to contact them on 5/31 and 6/1 I again sat on hold but when I tried to leave another voicemail I was informed that the mailbox was full. While the product Insight used does work and the technicians which have applied it have always been helpful and friendly the corporate and customer service aspect of agency is absolutely atrocious and is the primary reasoning behind my 1 star review.

I don't normally write reviews, but this needs to be said. Worst company ever. First: their treatments don't even work. They do not offer a satisfaction guarantee. They made our problem worse. Since your under a contract, the only way to get out is to have people come back out almost every week. They charged me $107 to try and cancel, because they offered me a discount on my initial service. They have NO customer service. It was the worst customer service i've ever experience. Go some place else for your pest problem.

We signed up for the quarterly treatment service when visited by the local salesman. He was very friendly and professional and did a great job of explaining the service and that it was a contract for four quarterly treatments. The pricing is fair- we've had pest control companies out before who charged much more so even though the cold season services with Insight don't do as much as the warm season the pricing averages out to be well within the norm. Our tech Katie J. treated our property today, the day after we signed up. She did a great job and explained all the services. Too early to tell how well everything will work but I will revise my review if it's not working as expected. I'm very happy with Insight Pest Solutions so far. To all the people who complain about the contract- read and ask questions before you sign. It's not the company's fault that you agreed to something you're not happy with.

Beware of this business- we had a very expensive and frustrating experience! Achieved poor pest control and made multiple attempts to cancel service. It took two months to cancel service (an account manager has call you back) which resulted in a $130 to cancellation fee for something that did not work in the first place! We went to another company who very quickly and efficiently resolved our pest problem.

The sale's person completely misrepresented the service, and we have few good things to say about the company. Whenever we called for service we would be placed on hold usually between 20-30 minutes before talking to a person. More often than not, we were told that there would not be any available servicemen on the dates we were available (at one point I gave them 3 weekdays that I could be available in a week span, and this was still not good enough for their scheduling department). Lastly, and most frustratingly, after telling the company I did not want to renew for another year, I was refused service for the last two months that I ALREADY paid for. Their "year contract" only applies as long as you are planning to pay them more, regardless of how long you have paid for their services.

Do not sign up with this company, they just transfer you to Terminix. Very shady practices. Their technicians do nothing of value around your house and do not even meet what they are doing at the house next to yours. Basically someone driving around telling you, you should knock down some cobwebs and not have a pot with standing water in it. Take a couple of pictures and leave. Say they spray around your house but my cameras didn't see much spraying going on.

I am in the same boat as many unsatisfied people on here. I had a door to door "salesman" come to my door as well. I was busy at the time but let him give me a sales pitch. I decided to take the "one time deal" of $99.00 for the treating of my home. I thought I was getting a "one time deal" not a year contract. I did sign the papers but like I said, I thought it was a one time deal. I didn't have a copy of what I signed either. All I had was a door hang tag with the salemans name, date and services that they offered. I had NO IDEA that it was a year contract at all! My deal is when THEY called me to tell me WHEN they were going to come treat my house again (which was a surprise to me) I wasn't going to be home. So I called several times, left messages and not a single person called me back. I finally called a different number and told the person that I did not want them to come and then the problem began. She actually told me that I didn't have a say in when they would come to my home. They would come when they were going to be in my area and I had no choice in the matter. Long story short, I am now being charged $270.00 for a cancellation of contract fee. REALLY??? Yeah, I should have kicked that guy off my porch. NEVER again will I be so gullable to just sign something without taking the time to read the entire thing from front to back before even considering the service. I am VERY upset about the entire situation. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's Office. If they can't help me out then I hope that this will deter any other person in the whole United States to not do business with this company anywhere - not just in Minnesota. I've talked to several of their people in Customer Service and in Revenue in North Carolina where the company is based and NO ONE gives a care about your situation. All they want is the money. Well, I may have to end up paying these butt holes but I will never again be taken as a fool. This is a shady company doing bad business and are taking honest people for their hard earned wages. Companies like this should be ashamed of their practices and how they handle customers. They don't care how upsetting this is or how disrespectful they are being to people. I am not a person that doesn't pay my bills. I am an honest person willing to give another person the benefit of the doubt; however, I will be more on top of things for sure now that these people have done this to me. Please don't use Insight Pest Solutions!!!!!!!!! So, I ended up writing a letter to the Attorney General's office in Minnesota. As the result, Insight told me I had to pay $150.00 to clear up my account and then they would close it. So, a one time spraying of my house that really didn't do anything cost me $250.00. What a deal!! (enter sarcasm). I did pay the $150.00 just to be done with it. HUGE lesson learned there!!

I thought I had subscribed to the mice elimination also, but there continued to be mice in our house. I called Insight to find out if the mice trapping was also included in the price. They apologized and sent a technician out the next day. Halley was very thorough in her investigation of the foundation of the house and looking for places where mice could get in. She made several suggestions about how to eliminate the problem. She also set many traps around the house and sent a map of where they all were. I really appreciate her thoroughness and kindness. I do not have an excessively negative review to post for this company, mostly because I haven't had a chance to experience their services. Right off the bat, I wish that I had been able to work with this company. I met a man who worked for Insight one afternoon as he was going door to door. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, but we were in the process of selling our house and were considering having Insight come out to our new house once all was settled. We kept his business card and were really looking forward to giving Insight a call once we moved. I've read so many great reviews about Insight that I dug through my boxes once we had moved and found that business card. We noticed that we had some large spiders outside of the new house and some wasps hanging around. I gave Insight a call a few days after moving in to my new house, and scheduled the first application. Our appointment was scheduled for Friday, September 4th between 3:00-5:00pm. My husband and I made sure that we were home and available for when they came, cancelled plans, and waited. Nobody showed up that evening, and we received no phone calls. I figured that because it was Labor Day weekend, perhaps the individual wanted to start their weekend earlier. Kind of rude, but I probably would have felt the same way. The following Tuesday after the holiday weekend, I called Insight Pest Solutions and was directed to their voicemail. After being prompted to leave my name, number, address and a message I left Insight the information and that I had never met with the applicator and was wondering if something had happened. It is September 16th today and I still have not received a call back or an explanation for why the individual never made it out to my new house. I really wanted to work with Insight to control the pests around my home, but the poor customer service that I have been shown means that I am likely going to need to take my business elsewhere. I am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of opportunity to write a good review.

Horrible experience, we went with Insight because they sold us on their vole solutions even though we didn't have bugs. As soon as our first treatment, we ended up having terrible bugs and the voles got worse. After a lot of wrangling they came out again for their "guarantee" and it didn't help. Our yard was completely destroyed by voles, and when I tried to cancel they charged us a multi-hundred dollar cancellation fee and hung up on me when I asked for the dispute process.

The referral program really sucks. I had issues with carpenter ants which were resolved. So I referred the company to my coworker who was told that both of us will receive 25 dollars credit to our next application. My coworker got the service in June and I got mine in August. When I didn’t see the 25 dollars credit applied to my bill, I called them to get it applied they said I had to get another service that costs 139 dollars to get the 25 dollars credit. And there’s no guarantee they’ll miss the credit again. What I had expected them to say was that because they missed applying the credit to my bill they will refund 25 dollars to my credit card or send a check. Instead they tried to rope me in for another service that I didn’t needed. 25 dollars is not a lot of money but it’s about the principle. They lied about the referral program. I didn’t get a dime for referral. So, I canceled the contract.

Ryan Pflugshaupt did an initial residential treatment for pest control of our house today. This review is for his service call. I can recommend Ryan as a polite, friendly, informed and informative technician. In fact, I've requested that he return for future pest treatments. He cheerfully addressed any areas that I pointed out and dealt with them. (There did seem to be a disconnect between what the salesman promised and what was communicated to the technician.) I cannot yet rate the effectiveness of the treatments, but we hope to see a quick reduction in ant, vole, and wasp populations on our property. I will update my review then. Update: we were less than satisfied with the continued service from this company and canceled the treatments.

BUYER BEWARE. Don't be fooled! About a year ago a man approached my door and banged loudly in my door and proceeded to ring my doorbell twice. After answering the door he told me about the pest control service he was offering. It actually sounded like a good deal, $89 per treatment and he would do my first service for free. After I asked if there was a contract he told me a shady answer like "just give us a shot for a while". Fast forward throughout the year, I tried cancelling multiple times but they wanted an outrageous $200+ cancellation fee. They never could get rid of the bugs inside or outside of my house despite repeated efforts (I called for reservices once a month it felt like). One time I decided to watch the service pro do their work and she took a whole 8 minutes after parking her truck to spray a few spots and drop off her bill and get back in her truck. Total ripoff. I'll be switching back to Rove and I suggest you do too.

The technician, Jacob, was very polite. He came across as being very conscientious and knowledgeable about his job. He explained his procedures in detail prior to performing them. He also explained the safety and risk factors of any product prior to its application. Our only pest concern was an exterior ant problem. Jacob addressed the concern directly and I am quite certain our ant issue has been resolved. I will post any pertinent updates over time. A very positive experience all the way around. I am very happy with the service.

I have been with Insight for over a year now. I was apprehensive at first to go with such a large company thinking that I wouldn't get personalized service. I don't have a big bug issue, but wanted to make sure I didn't get one. Every visit from their staff has been a great experience from the job itself to the customer service. Last week I found a wasp nest under one of my roof peaks. I called and they came out the very next day. DaNei was able to get the nest down quickly and efficiently. He was super informative on what was going on and I didn't have to get close to a single wasp in the process. DaNei is my new superhero! Thanks Insight!

We had Insight Pest Solutions come out in the Spring to spray for pests, however in July we were seeing a few spiders and ants inside and outside our home. Not many, but a few. They were very courteous and said they would send someone out the following Sat. That Sat a very friendly technician, named Halley Gruber, came out and addressed what was wrong and our concerns. She was happy and answered any questions we had. Thank you Halley!

Signed up under a promotional package and they told me it was going to be super cheap for the year, can't remember how much they told me at the moment, come to find out that I'm being charged over $100 a quarter for a product that doesn't work and for a service that they don't show up to perform, they skipped two months of "application." My wife is calling to cancel because their product doesn't work and they LIED about the price for this year. I've already posted to social media warning about them.

AWFUL do NOT use this company. I don't normally write reviews, but this place is a scam. They do not offer a satisfaction guarantee. I tried to cancel under my contract, because all they did was make the pest problem worst. I called, and they were so rude to me, and I was fighting the $100 they wanted to charge me. I asked for the original signed contract, was put on hold for 15 minutes, and then they sent me one with a date stating was my initial visit.. I didn't even own my home on that date. At the end of it she told me she was going to charge me anyway. So there's $500 down the drain for no reason. Do not use this company.

BEWARE: You'll be paying a lot of money on an ongoing basis. It is NOT a one time promo cost as the sales people make it sound. They are not upfront about recurring charges and "oddly" enough, emails after every follow up (which they never tell you will be a $127 charge for them spraying a couple corners with some useless powder) is blank. When I tried accessing my account through the link they provide, it takes me to a dead end. The employees that come to do the follow ups have you sign on their tablets, saying its just a signature saying that they showed up. What they don't say is that you are signing to authorize the CC charge. Shady, shady. After 3 payments, we realized not only that this was kind of a scam, the services don't work at all. We had more spiders than usual and ants where everywhere in the spring , doing their business as usual. I tried calling customer service to try and work out the final payment (during this call I learned for the first time that there is another charge for you to cancel your account... meaning: you will be paying $127.48 quarterly until you remember to cancel their useless services. Then, you pay some more for cancelling.) I called and "got disconnected" twice. They have my acct number, they know where to find me. No one called back and I wasted precious time of my day trying to reach a resolution. Against everything in me wanting them to do the right thing, I'll send them a check because I want them off my back, but be aware that they have a very poor way of conducting business. I cannot take dishonesty. I'd take my business somewhere else.

Technicians so far have been very friendly and knowledgeable. We've had two quarterly treatments so far and there is a noticeable difference in the pest population. Danei W. was out in November for our quarterly service and explained everything that was being done. He even noticed a very small entry point under the house that I hadn't noticed - very perceptive! Great service so far.

We had an older gentleman servicing our home before, but he retired, and insight had a great deal going considering what we were paying before.
