If I could leave no stars I would- Terrible Experience. One that I was in shock when it happened. Called Dan and made an appt. Came to my my home- he greeted my mother with attitude. He was looking for bed bugs and basically told her to lift the mattress bc it "wasn't his job". Um ok?!?! Rude. Then he had a firm $1700 charge to spray the home twice and GUARANTEED there will be no sight of them afterwards. and kept comparing himself to other companies. So we gave him a chance. I called him a few times the day of the appt. asking if we can pay half now and half later and the way he would answer the phone was- "hi, whats your address" never even asking who I am but identified me by an address only. Well he comes over. Walks in my home- I ask him 2 simple questions of how many years has he been in business and how many employees does he have and he legit walks out of the home. I wait a few min and he drives off. I call him, and he goes "I dont have time for you to ask me questions. I know you know I am overcharging you and dont have time to explain my company to you." Um okkkkk. I kid you not I was so confused I didn't know what to tell him. I am so thankful I didn't use his service. Never experienced this type of service in my life. Afterwards I went online to read reviews and noticed others are saying the same thing about him. Just please don't waste your time. I am so thankful I didn't.

My nephew came in from California and spent the weekend with his grandma. 3 weeks later, house infested with bed bugs. Interviewed many pest control companies, all traditional pest control companies are a scam and I feel prey on people's ignorance of this issue. Bedbugs are a different monster than ants, bees, etc. After talking to many companies, I decided to call this company, had a guy, Don, come out. He told us straight exactly what we were dealing with, the work that would be required once he was done and guaranteed his work for 6 months, which is unprecedented. No other company does this, plus other companies make you sign a contract. He educated us, we listened. He treated the entire house, in early December, we did the work required after, nothing since. Bedbug infestations needn't be terrifying, once you understand what needs to be done. Not gonna lie, it's a lot of work. Reinfestation only happens when you don't listen and do the work (or someone brings them back in). I loved this company, I particularly loved Don. He is a no-nonsense professional that would rather tell you the truth about your situation than tell you lies to make you feel good; a trait I admired greatly. Don't waste your time for bedbugs with any other company. Trying to treat this yourself is a losing and time consuming battle. Don is great and I highly recommend this company for this particular issue, without hesitation. Thanks Don!

in 2015,, I was dealing with a lot of pressure...had spiders galore and other creepy crawlers with a million legs...I called hi tech pest control and I received immediately response and Don came over to service my home. I learned a lot during this visit about how bugs enter into the homes. I had to prepare for him to get into areas as my house is fully furnished...he sprayed and bombed my home ..my problem was solved. So thankful for this company and Don as my experience was enlightening and I learned so much about bugs. Today I called him to set-up an appointment...he was on time and he was able to get the job done. I would highly recommend him for any pest problem.. trust me...it was worth the money.

I called for a mouse problem in my home. Hi Tech guy didn't even introduce himself, gave me a very vague and almost sarcastic tone about using traps, and basically told me it would be to expensive to treat my home. I didn't appreciate his whole attitude and tone, and i will be searching for another pest control company.

I used this company 3 years ago for a different pest problem, and am going to use them again now. I can’t begin to say how amazing my tech was! Not only did he eliminate my bug problem completely, but he went above and beyond to help me as I had cancer and couldn’t physically do all of the requirements to aid him in prep. I won’t forget how kind and efficient this company is! They were a bit more money, but it was well worth it to rid my problem. I definitely recommend them!!!

I have been dealing with Hi tech for years . I have an old house 1940s era, and it had pest problems . I used to have carpenter ants I hired hi-tech 1 time and they were controlled for 2 years . Had to call them back 2 years later and they treated for 1/2 price and twice free . But it's going on 3 years no ants . I Also had a mouse problem 1 visit they were gone . And the tech Don who is a great guy by the way . He walked around and pointed an area by my porch where they were getting in, so I could patch the area no more mice. So if you want to take care of your pest problems right the First time call hi tech

Unusual experience. Tonight I was supposed to get an estimate (9/13/2016). The guy that came to the door was nice and showed some ID. I wanted spider spraying outside. He said he could spray right then. He walks around the house with what appears to be a spray gun. No liquid or granules anywhere. I questioned him and went in the house and back out and he was in his truck driving away. He opened the window and said no charge I have 2 other places to be. No liquid anywhere and no granules. What the heck was he doing? I didn't pay. In response to the owner today April 16, 2019. Rest assure this is an honest review. A friend does spider/pest control in Canada (you can't bring chemicals over the border otherwise I'd have him do it). I walked the perimeter of my house and can assure you nothing was done. Almost 3 years later and you respond? I question your employees Integrity and frankly yours responding almost 3 years later. Go back in your scheduling books and find the technician that came to my house. Your employee swept spiders off my porch after I questioned him on why there was no liquid chemical (it has a strong scent) or granules on the ground. At that point he brushed off some webs from my front porch. I went in the house and came back out and he was hurrying off in his truck. Like I said...odd.

Professional, knowledgeable and efficient! I will never use another company and I HIGHLY recommend them. Prior to spraying my home for bed bugs, I was shown credentials and given a thorough walk through of the pest. I felt very informed and values as a customer.

Spoke to a guy on the phone who was extremely rude. I asked him one question about the service they provide for rodent control (a lot of people just come in and lay traps, which I can do), and the guy got really upset at me saying to "call somebody else if I want to be educated, I come in and solve the problem that's all you need to know. I'm the number one rated pest control in Michigan so I don't have to be on the phone with you telling you how I solve the problem." Then he rushed me off the phone saying he's in too much demand to answer questions, and told me to call somebody else if I want to ask questions. Honestly, when I got off the phone it took me a minute to process what the heck just happened. That was the most escalated I've ever seen a situation get from a very general, simple question that anyone should ask if they're going to spend hundreds of dollars on pest control. (REPLY TO OWNER) 8/21/19: Sure, I did ask you if you find entry places and close them, and when you said no... I then asked, "so what's your approach then"... Expecting an answer maybe of "we bait the animals back outside" or "focus on setting traps inside", etc... Judging by other reviews on your company, you've received similar questions like this before (which you should), and you responded in a similar way as you did to me. As I said on the phone, I'm simply asking the question to make sure that you aren't going to do anything that I've already tried (trying to save us both time here), and wanted to make sure I'm in good hands. Believe it or not, just telling people that "we're number one in michigan" and "we solve the problem", doesn't usually give people the confidence they need. Maybe at a certain point you should use these reviews to take a look at yourself and think "maybe I'm not approaching these conversations in the right way" rather than trying to tell others that they somehow are to blame. I don't get into confrontation often... And this the first negative review I've left about a company. The fact that you're able to pull it out of me says a lot about you... Whether you like it or not. As for the rest of your response... I get it... you receive a lot of business, and are good at pest control. You made that abundantly clear. Maybe if you improve your ability to have a prescreening phone conversation you can get some more.

We’ve used Hi-Tech on a couple of properties for almost 10 years. They always deliver top notch service. We call Hi Tech for yearly treatment to keep the ants and spiders away but have called them out In an emergency to flush out critters and they did the job. I wouldn’t use any other company!

If I could give less than one star I would. The Tech. Don was less than helpful. He wanted to give sales pitch. I just need to know what this company's treatment plan is and what they will do to get rid of the bus issue... He told me he didn't have time to explain to me me he had other places to go... doesn't sound like a company with an A+ rating to me. If so then the better get at customer service!

This company is very professional and they get the job done! I am very satisfied with the service. I called Terminex to come out and take care of some problems (ants). They wanted a contract I did it and for three month straight I still had the same flow of ants. I immediately cancelled the agreement. I called Hi-Tech and literally in one application I no longer saw the ants. However he agreed to come back in two to three weeks to continue the application. It was not needed!!!!

H-Tech Pest Control in Southeastern Michigan area is very knowledgeable about bed bugs! The gentleman who helped my great-aunt was prompt and fixed the problem in one visit.
