CJB is an excellent company! They came out immediately, was clear upfront about pricing and had great customer service. The two technicians that I dealt with were awesome! Josh, went straight to the source of my raccoon problem and explained everything that was causing my problem and provided me a list of solutions that I can do or pay them to do. I split the list with them and saved a few bucks. Shaun, came out to remove the last of 3 raccoons and a possum that were caught and relocated. He also helped me out by nailing up a gutter that was coming loose over my garage. This is the type of service that makes me feel like this company values me as a customer and a member of our community. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

We hosted a Birthday party for our daughter and hired CJB Pest services to spray our yard for mosquitos before the event. Although it rained the day before and day of the event, we were able to comfortably enjoy being outside. Our home sits on a wooded lot, surrounded by many mature trees. None of our guests complained about mosquitos! It's been over 3 weeks since the party, we still have AWESOME protection from mosquitos! Thank you CJB Pest Control!!

Very happy with the service of Shawn Hammon and with his patience and explanation of things. Not happy with no skunks caught, but that is not his domain. If we are looking for the capture of a SKUNK, then it doesn't make sense to pay ($60) for the removal of another animal, such as a squirrel, or possum or raccoon, or a cat. Haven't had to do this so far, despite the indications from the lady at the office in Farmington, and don't intend to do that either.

I had a real estate inspection done by CJB. Setting up an appointment was easy and hassle free. They contacted me through a robo call the day before to remind me of the appointment, and were right within the window in which they said they would be here. They sent Chad out to do the inspection, and he was professional, knowledgeable, and we hit it off right away. The inspection was detailed, and he gave constant feedback and explaination of the procedures. He also took the time to educate me on any warning signs that problematic pests might leave behind. He offered their other services, but didn't try and up sell me which was greatly appreciated. I also appreciate that CJB hires veterans, as a veteran myself, it's awesome to see local companies doing good by our folks in uniform. In the future if I ever need any inspection or actual pest control I wouldn't hesitate to call CJB.

We called CJB 2x for paper wasp nest removal, 2 locations at different times. Recently we have used them for skunk removal. The come and rebait weekly and remove the critters. I am concerned about this because my dog was skunked. Anyone that has had this happened wants them gone- they serve no purpose as far as I am concerned. They are awesome to work with your needs.

Our home borders a wooded area where the moles have been able to move about freely. Within days of my call, we had an estimate and the first application was applied.We have since had a second application as the moles are determined creatures and two applications are recommended. We also have a larger lot - 1 1/2 acres. Other determined creatures include our two labrador retrievers who would dig at the moving tunnels trying to stop the moles - dirt would be flying! This activity is also down considerably and we are confident will soon be gone!

Something changed. Great in 2017, lots of attitude in 2018. Reached out to them for some assistance with a squirrel in my basement last year, and CJB was great to work with. Naturally, I called them this year for bug control, particularly those nasty Asian stink bugs. Right off the bat I got the hard sell on the phone from someone obviously reading from a script. Mid-call, he asked me to wait for a moment. While he was nice to me, he was yelling at someone else. I got to hear the whole thing because I wasn’t on hold. Then he repeated the script about how amazing they are and gave me a “combined discount” for doing the interior and exterior. He said to pull everything away from the exterior wall baseboards except big furniture. But when I called back about how I was going to use someone else because I didn’t trust a sales person who has to read a script instead of tailoring services to my needs, I got lots of apologies and assurances that he read a script to make sure he didn’t miss important info. Ok, I get that. But the tech showed up today, and said we’d need to be out of the house for four hours, which is interesting because I specifically asked when making the appointment and was told this wasn’t the case. Additionally, the tech said he’d need everything removed from all baseboards, not just those around exterior walls. Well, I can’t leave the house for four hours. Period. I work from home because I can’t travel. I wouldn’t have signed up for that. At all. Lastly, there’s clearly some communication issues between the techs and office folks that needs to get addressed up. Fast. They did a great job for me in 2017, and if they get that helpful attitude back, I’ll try them again. Right now, though, I’m going to give them some time to work their issues out and give someone else a try.

Brandon was able to come out the same day and did a thorough inspection, and placed traps where they would be most effective and out of the reach of my dog. We had Brandon out last week. We had some pavement ants as we live on slab and we tried many home remedies to no avail. Brandon came out. Was super informative. Showed up early and didn't rush. Even checked our attic for signs of pests leaks and mold without additional charge. He sprayed everything 2 times to be sure he covered every spot and even moved our washer to spray behind there. Most companies would not be this thorough. He didn't just focus on the problem areas I mentioned he focused on ALL areas he knew would be problem areas. The price was reasonable and we are guaranteed for 6 months that is longer then any other company I called and I called 5 different places. It's been just over a week and so far we don't see any more ants. Some dead ones here or there but the problem seems to be eliminated. I highly recommend them and will use them in the future. I have recently learned that this is the company that our church has been using. Previously, we thought that we were getting a service where the two houses on our property alongside the church were getting serviced as well, but I believe we misunderstood. My pastor and I spoke to the wonderful Vikki, and a guy name Stewart I believe came (tall guy like Larry bird), and he did his work around my home, and then our senior pastor's. He came respectfully, assured us that it'd all clean up the centipedes to ants, and he had a good personality, unlike someone else who came before who seemed miserable and didn't seem to even wanna talk. Stewart even referred to us as pastors when he spoke, which we both were surprised by his common sense and respect because we have all sorts of people come for different things, and I can catch it quick when I see people coming unprofessionally or rudely. Hope it clears up a lot of these critters, and at least we know who to call! Thanks guys. Can't wait to talk to Stewart again, or maybe it'd be a good reason if he didn't have to come again. Ha!

I took time off work to meet our service person in order to be sure that all areas were covered. They came before the time set and when I called, I was told they could come back for another $75.00. I already paid, lost money from work and they wanted more money just to do what I asked them to do the first time. We ended up finding another bee's nest and had to call a different company to come out. They came out when they said, did a complete walk through, found a third nest and still did not charge more. We ended up signing a service contract with them because of the great customer service - something that CJB doesn't have!

Generally CJB has done a very decent job, but we found some live bed bugs ans some dead ones in the master bedroom, even after the second treatment and they kept telling us to wait another week. We have not seen any recently, but are still reluctant to move everything back into our bedroom because of our experience with the bedbugs. My son found CJB on line with good reviews and that's why we chose them. in the first place. We aren't sure, but are hopeful that we have eliminated infestation?

Called CJB to remove a large hornets nest that was in my lower porch light. An appointment was scheduled promptly and the technician was on time. He went right to work, donning a beekeeper style hat, removing the nest without fear! The nest and hornets are now gone. Very happy with the service and the knowledgeable technician. CJB Pest & Mosquito Control were an amazing company to work with. We found out that we had bed bugs on a Friday and I panicked and started calling around for prices and to get inspected (bugs really creep me out). I had two other companies come out on Monday to do an inspection and they did not make me feel like the problem was going to be resolved. CJB came in and made me feel comfortable and confident that this situation was going to be resolved. That's why I chose them to do the service. They came out on time on Tuesday to complete the service and the bugs started dying off. Two weeks later they came for a second treatment to make sure that they got them all. Now about 2 months later I can say we are completely bed bug free. I haven't seen a live one since they came the second time. CJB gave me a ton of information on what to do to prepare for the treatment and even more information on how to prevent this from happening again. They are very professional and helpful and they have all the tools and supplies that you need to fix any kind of pest problem. I even bought the bed covers and traps from them because they were a better deal. They also gave me a really good price, that was not outrageous like the other companies. My advice is to use CJB for all your pest problems. If I ever have another problem (crossing my fingers that I don't though) I will definitely be giving them a call.

Once their entry into my home was discovered, the technician put some holes in the wall and then a chemical in the holes to eliminate the nest. I haven’t seen them since or really any other bug for the matter. The only thing that would of made them a five star, would be if they could tell me for certain that there was definitely a nest in the wall that they treated and that it was definitely eliminated after the treatment. Again, I haven’t seen any since but we never really seen the nest, just a hole in the wall that they were coming out of.

Spoke with someone (didn’t catch name as I was immediately placed on hold after I answered their call) regarding costs to get birds removed from my attic & potential mosquito control. After determining that the mosquito control would not be cost efficient for me unless my neighbors also participated in the spraying, we just spoke about the bird removal. I thought that the rough estimate over the phone sounded pretty fair, but still wanted to get a few more call back/inhome quotes that I put out the evening before to ensure this company was the most cost efficient for me and that I would call back in the next day or so to schedule, if they were the cheapest price. Apparently, that was not what he wanted to hear as he quickly suggested that I “go online and look at their reviews” and that I did not want the “cheapest price” for these services. I took the opportunity to inform him that I had in fact looked online at their reviews- hence the reason I submitted the form in the first place- along with other highly rated companies with MANY reviews to ensure I was contacting the best in their industry for my service area and needs. That, in my opinion, it is wise to get estimates from those other reputable companies as well to ensure I am getting the best price points for the services rendered. I will not be contacting this company back regardless of the quotes, higher or lower, I receive. This was the first interaction, the most important, and it left me more agitated than anything- leaving me to imagine what it would actually be like to do business with these folks and run into unforeseen issues. Could have been a great deal and great company to work with now and in the future- but I will never know. I give a 2 star review because I’m sure the service they provide is fantastic based on their online ratings, but not worth the added agitation on top of my pest control problems. *Edit- Thank you for your reply and I appreciate your quick action in regards to my review. I have not yet chose the company I would like to work with for my pest control issues. I am satisfied by your response and in return would like to re-consider your company for the services I inquired about, with the intention of actually being able to rate the services you provide in it's entirety. CJB Pest & Mosquito control was great! They explained the process in detail before coming out to spray inside and outside for the ant problem I had. We haven't had any additional problems, but had the problem persisted, they would've come back to exterminate the carpenter ant nest. Edit: 4 months after the first application, we found the nest (opened up area that had water damage), and they came back right away to treat the area and kill the nest. Again, I'm very satisfied with the job done and the professionalism in the service!
