Really poor quality inspections. Very unprofessional, missed many things. Never answers calls. Realtors often recommend them because they're trying to sell the house and In-accurate inspections will gloss over alot of problems.

Beware....Inspection failed to reveal major problems. water heater failure, duct work water damage due to chimney , electrical plugs burned out, toilet water leaks, bowed wall all completely missed. Jason Murton is a wonderful and very KNOWLEDGEABLE inspector. I have been an agent for 15 years, and HE even does MY personal home residences. I TRUST him wholeheartedly. He has done hundreds for my clients as well. Highly recommend.

Jason was incredibly knowledgeable. He walked us through every detail and offered a thorough report upon completion. It is clear that he takes pride in his job. He also reviewed the report with us on site incase we had questions. I appreciate that the report wasn't an overwhelming 200 pages. It was easy to read and understand. 5 stars FOR SURE!

Paul is the most professional inspector and genuinely nicest guy i have had the privilege of working with in all my time doing VA home loans. He went above and beyond and is still doing anything he can to help facilitate my veteran getting into his new home. I cannot thank him enough.

What a waste of money!! Multiple, major problems missed! Use a different company. Better yet - hire a roofer, electrician, and plumber to inspect your future home. You will get a more honest opinion from an expert compared to this company.

Guy showed up and smelled like booze.....Missed numerous issues with the house

Nate Gambill

Showed on right on time, provided great guidance, and--most importantly--they stand behind their work. Highly recommended!

I have used and recommended Accurate Inspections for 28 years. As an agent, I am always pleased when my buyer chooses Accurate. A multi-inspector company, all inspectors are timely and knowledgeable. They do the same inspection routine at every house. All are certified by the American Society of Home inspectors. Inspectors are patient and willing to answer all buyer’s questions. (I work mostly with Jeff) The report is reviewed at the end of the inspection, and delivered on-line to the buyer the same day. I have waited days for my buyers to get their report from other inspectors. One of the most important aspect of using this company is when it comes time to deal with repairs called by the appraiser. Because Accurate inspectors belong to ASHI, and all have the state of Michigan Builders License, if warranted and true, they can override the appraiser questions and repairs that are mandated. As a full-service company, Accurate also perform 48 hr. radon tests, water tests and have a very pleasant and thorough pest inspector. As I have seen all sorts of “inspectors” in the Greater Lansing Area, my vote goes to Accurate Inspections.

Jason is the first Inspector I can honestly say I respect. He was professional, organized, and had the tools and knowledge necessary to do a thorough inspection. I have dealt with several before him and felt like I knew more then they did. I will definitely be recommending him to friends and family!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Multiple problems COMPLETELY MISSED! Major plumbing leak in the master bathroom not found until we flooded the basement when we went to use it. Leak in basement with rotting carpet tack strip underneath carpet. Sump pump did not work and crock was found to be full of debris ( wood pieces previous owner swept into it); basement tub did not drain; furnace did not provide heat; prev owner opened windows during radon test and inspector made it seem like it would be hassle to repeat and told my husband "it's probably fine" which I was not comforted by so we repeated the radon test which was found to be high leading to a need for Radon Mitigation. We brought all of this to the attention of the company and they sent us a refund of the inspectors fee but then kept the company portion of the fee. WHAT?! First off, how is that right? They did not actually provide the service paid for. Not that a return of the entire $500 would have even come close to covering all of the repairs needed that we're not discovered due to their inspectors negligence, but at least it would have been a gesture that they were trying to make things right. Even after writing a letter to the company explaining our dissatisfaction with their so-called solution, no one from the company contacted us to discuss what disgraceful service we had received or to assure us that no one else would suffer the same treatment. A house is the most expensive purchase most people are going to make in their lifetime. You need to be able to trust the people doing the inspection on a purchase like this. We are now out a ton of money to repair a house that we would not have bought in the first place had we found out about all of these issues at the time of the inspection. Now, we are stuck having to mediate this and potentially going to court and are going through a lot more stress to try to remedy that which never should have happened in the first place. If you want to be in capable, honest, caring hands then DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They will gladly take your money with no regard to any kind of quality service being received in return! I go to work everyday and I'm held accountable for every single action I take there. I only wish it were the same for home inspectors and companies like this. I know that if I had acted with blatant disregard for a client the way that they did that I would be out of a job.

There is way too much to talk about here so I’m just going to get to the point. This company is THE WORST. Please believe any bad review you read about this company because it’s true. Our inspector “Paul” did absolutely nothing when he came to “inspect” our home. He even missed a water damaged light fixture above our kitchen sink that started leaked the first week we lived in the house and he was writing up the inspection right below this light fixture. Of course I wouldn’t be leaving this review if it was just a leaking light fixture that he missed. He also missed $25,000 worth of repairs, including a basement that floods every time it rains. I am clueless as to what I’m supposed to be looking for because this is the first home I have ever bought so I was trusting this company to do a good job but unfortunately some companies are in bed with the realtors trying to sell these homes and this company is definitely one of them. My fiancé called the owner “Leslie” to explain what happened with the inspector and he was so rude that she was in tears during and after the call. He said to her “I can’t understand you when you are balling on the other line”. Luckily we did end up getting the money we paid for the inspection back but that is nothing compared to the 25 grand we now have to some how come up with. Mediation is going to be fun, thanks Accurate Home Inspections!!!

We are in the process of purchasing a home and discovered possible foundation issues. I called Accurate Inspections and Les met us at the property promptly. He explored the areas and let us know what to look for. He gave detailed instructions on what steps should be taken. He was charming, diligent, and thorough. I will recommend Accurate to friends and family in the future.

Jason completed his home inspection prior to our appointment time. He was very informative and made everything easier to understand. He's very thorough, gave suggestions on what could be done economically, and who he would recommend to fix an issue.
