I have two dogs who cannot be exposed to fresh spray. I had no warning they were coming nor did the technician knock on my door to say he was there. I was home at the time. I let my dogs out to find the paper in my door that they were there while I was in the house. What's more, I don't believe the treatment was applied. If someone was walking around the perimeter of my home for the duration of a full treatment, I would know. My dogs would go nuts!. Dead silence except a piece of paper.

The people who work at Aardvark are friendly and helpful whenever we needed them. We had a problem with large ants at our home and the technicians came out and sprayed. Within a few days we had no more ants. Last year we had box elders and they sprayed for those and we had no more problem. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again if we need them again. Definitely 5-stars

Called for a bed-bug inspection. The first time, set an appointment for 12:30, as we had a dr appt at 2. At 1:15 they called and said they were running late and were on their way. Seemed miffed we said never mind, we would reschedule. Second attempt, supposed to be here at 10 am, showed up at 9:38. Walked in, talked down to the stupid females - (oh, you are getting bit because you are so sweet) - walked into the bedroom, turned over 2 pillows, lifted the corner of a blanket, and found nothing. But then said because the bites were happening in bed, it was, without a doubt, bed bugs. Pay for the first extermination, then pay for 2 more afterwards because eggs hatch, you know? Not going to bother. All other companies give you a flat fee to do the extermination and follow up. Aardvark also said they use gas. Everything I read, EVERYWHERE, says gas does not work. you need direct spray, heat, or steam. Calling someone else to come actually do an inspection instead of a farce.

Be careful to get a second opinion. Never let anyone treat your home without seeing proof of the pest. Aardvark offers a free inspection but their inspection was no where near as thorough as Terminix! We thought we had bed bugs and for Aardvark's inspection they shined a light behind one of our headboards and looked at what I showed them (bug bites and something tiny from my bed that I thought might be part of a bug) and they automatically said it was bed bugs. They did not look at any other area or part of my bed. They said they would come the next day and treat our home. No bugs or eggs were found. And no details on what they used to treat our home, or instructions on how to prepare besides sealing our food. When Terminix came, they checked every mattress, box spring, head board, in our house and found nothing as well. I looked with them through ever piece and saw there was nothing. They showed me pictures demonstrating that what I had found and thought were pieces of a bug were definitely not bed bugs. Terminix told me that they would have to find actual proof of a bed bug or eggs to treat with the harsh chemicals in my home. We have small children and it really concerns me that Aardvark would just so quickly say they would treat my house for something they did not find, gave very little instructions on how to prepare (I've since learned that with bed bugs there is a lot of prep work that you have to do before your home is treated), and gave no information on the names of the chemicals they were going to use . They took advantage of my fear in the situation and ran with it. I'm so glad we had Terminix come out! You will find that this company is very friendly and maybe they do great work for other pests and they've been around a long time but I would never ever ever recommend them if you think you have bed bugs!

I do not recommend aardvark, my elderly father called them for a estimate to clear a pest issue, tech came out , gave a quote , 550. then senior discount of 50 so 499. an can do it next day , my father called me I said let's get second opinion he is on limited income, the next day they called back offered slightly more of a discount if they could do it Saturday and he pays cash only, I called 2 other companies for a quote and saved over 100 dollars , I hate when people try to take advantage of elders, please get second opinion before using aardvark

A reviewer names Lindsay had a similar experience with Bed Bugs to what I had. We found a few bugs and saved them in a plastic baggie. We showed them the bugs and they identified them as bed bugs. They did not inspect the bed room. But we did not have furniture in the room at the time. We had just blown up an inflatable mattress and were sleeping on that. We didn't live in the home yet either. We were just staying for the weekend. We did some research and found that bed bugs look exactly like bat bugs. So I sent a bug sample to Michigan State for review and their bug guy looked under a microscope and identified the bugs we found as Bat Bugs. Same family but they require Bad blood rather than human blood to reproduce. MSU told us to look for bats and sure enough we had a small colony of bat, about 20, to deal with. I called Aardvark and cancelled our appointment to treat for bed bugs and asked if they knew about Bat bugs. The person I had on the phone just told me they treat the two types of bugs the same way for $600. MSU directed me to get rid of the bats and spray a specific Bayer brad bug spray from Lowes that cost under $10. So do your research before spending $600 to treat for bed bugs.

5 stars just isn’t a high enough rating for Aardvark Pest Control! Don has been absolutely WONDERFUL to deal with the last two years. We called them for the first time last year (spring 2018) for carpenter ants and got such a speedy response that when we saw (different) ants again just two days ago, we knew exactly who to call! Such wonderful and speedy customer service and one hell of a service! Keep up the great work!
