Workers that come to the house are very nice and professional. They are the only reason I am giving 2 stars. Customer service operators are useless. Not once did they give the tech's the correct info. Have had to have service done every 3 to 4 weeks and the ants and ticks are still not taken care of after 5 months! Don't waste your money, corporate doesn't care.... I am thinking of filing a small claims suit because the product doesn't work.

The young man soliciting service sign up was a nice guy so we figured we'd give them a try. Service is a big disappointment. My wife asked for bait stations to treat for mice (as we had with our old service) but the technician refused (and was rude and dismissive). We have retained our old service to get the service that works for us. I'm know I am stuck paying for the full year with Insight but when I called to have these guys stop coming and they informed me that it would cost more to have them stop coming then to just cancel and pay the balance... Now I have 2 pest control companies - Northwest Pest (who are good) and these guys (who are not). I also tried to put in cancelation now for when my service contract is up in 6 months but they refused to accept. They are hoping that I'll forget so they can automatically renew. Don't trust these guys.

Is there a zero star for rating this Insight Pest Solutions? I just got scammed by these guys. On 6/28/2018, lovely young woman named Holli Harris at my door explained to me about this scammed company's services. She said she could not find enough people around my neighbors for tomorrow service and offered a one-time discount rate $129. Lied TO MY FACE, she got my credit card and completed the transaction for that verbal one-time service. I was asked to sign it and believed it was just a one-time service agreement. I signed it and did not either bother to check the paperwork later when receiving via email. I got the the service on the day after and did not think of anything else as I always thought it was a one-time service. In September 2018, they sent someone to my place and asked us to do 2nd service. I was so surprised and asked him to go away as we had nothing to do with this scammed company. He told me you had signed the YEAR LONG SERVICE, which Holli never mentioned. I went back and check the old email I never read after signing and found out I was lied by her. I signed it and I was stuck. I called to cancel the service and received a bill of $240 ($100 early termination fee and $140 from discount rate if you keep full year service agreement). I wished I would ever open the email right after signing so I could cancel the service right away. Too bad I did not read it and it was too late to read it in September (more than 30 days passed after 1st service so $140 is unavoidable). Well it was a big lesson for me to learn and worthy to share with social media. Social media will bury you. Woburn, MA

Jason Lanni served me wonderfully. He was on time and came prepared to do his job and do it well. Jason was extremely knowledgable and polite. He explained the current status of the mouse traps in my basement and, even though none of the existing traps had gone off, Jason re-baited all of them. Lastly, to top off the whole experience, Jason gave me some plastic mouse traps which are, in my opinion, more efficient than the wooden traps. This experience was smooth and efficient and I would recommend Jason at Insight Pest to anyone with a pest problem

My home is out in a fairly wooded sub-development in a quiet town. Within the last 3 years or so, the plots next to and behind me were dug out to build new homes. That brought about all sorts of critters, some that we don't even recognize. We did what we could to mitigate using retail products but we weren't really satisfied with the results. EDIT: Since the company responded with extremely specific details about our interactions, I guess I will as well. Trying to paint me as a delinquent client that didn't follow instructions seems pretty ridiculous to me. I provided my card for auto-pay, and even the billing department couldn't tell me that there was a problem with processing, instead *accusing me* of never contacting them with the billing information to begin with. The only voicemail I did ever receive never mentioned an issue with payment. The primary reason for requesting treatment was for mice. The traps that were set by the technician in only two rooms of our home never caught a single mouse. So, the canned response of "increased activity" doesn't really apply here. For the record, we have hired Terminix since, and after the very first day of treatment, had stopped seeing ANY evidence of mice. Pretty big difference. The price I was given was $139, which was quite a deal from the normal pricing of $269, which is an absurd amount. It turns out, if you decide you want out, there isn't just a $100 cancellation fee, but you also have to pay them back for the promotional pricing difference. They have satisfaction guarantees that would have required me calling them back to the house two more times, before offering a credit if things still weren't working (Note: a great money back guarantee that actually doesn't offer money back. Very nice wording using "credit" instead of "refund" there.) So, thanks for dragging out all the details of this. This business model of punishing someone for not wanting to continue business is bad. It's great you have a have a high rating on Google, but I should have done a little bit of research before signing up, where other rating sites have your average score at 2/5 stars, and TWO-HUNDRED SIXTEEN complaints on your BBB profile. Original post: Ended up paying $500 for a single treatment that didn't do anything, when it was all over. Very underhanded "fees" if you decide to cancel.

We had a new issue that required someone to take a look at. Called Insight Monday and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. The representative (Frank Bruner) was professional and very helpful. He looked at our problem and put some solutions in place to get rid of the pests. Frank has been to our house before and remembered the areas he needed to check in addition to the new problem. Overall, another really good service from Frank Bruner at Insight.

DO NOT sign up for one of Insights service agreements. I attempted to cancel my service agreement - only wanted treatment in the Spring. Thought I might consider it for all 12 months when I first agreed but then decided against it. When I attempted to do this then then applied a $140 back charge. Indicated that since my initial treatment was discounted from $250 to $109 based on 4 treatments that I owed this money. I made it clear when I signed up that I would probably not go with all 4 treatments and was never told this. I am sure it is somewhere in the fine print. Folks, you can find much cheaper treatments with other pest control folks. My experience is that an individual treatment costs only about $90. I decided to give this company a try only because they came door-to-door. Big mistake.

Bill Sullivan came to my house today for a regular service. He was very professional and showed a lot of interest in addressing problems that I didn't even notice before. I have a finished basement and it turns out that some connections from the outside of the house had bigger holes that can allows insects to come in through. He fixed this without me asking. He was thorough in going around the house multiple times to make sure that he didn't miss anything. I do feel a difference in the house after the service visits, and would highly recommend him.

My experience with this company was as an employee. The coworkers were fun, and I made lasting friends. The management was friendly enough but the pay structure of the company encouraged us to perform poorly. The company overworked and underpaid the technicians and encouraged us to rush our work. We had a daily salary designed to ignore overtime and 12+ hrs of daily work on our 6 day schedule. I was happy to travel and experience a different part of the world, but it was more of a volunteer job than a way to earn a living. They went through employees quickly.

Bill Sullivan was at my house today. We had a "mouse issue". Bill went above and beyond to make sure our entire house was checked. Attic, second floor, first floor and basement. He went around the outside of our house and found several holes where the mice could get in. He filled those holes. He walked me through some different options for inside the house to help rid us of the mice that were already inside. He was very informative and did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend Bill for such a terrific job!

A REPRESENTATIVE FROM INSIGHT CAME DOOR TO DOOR IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND HAD THE AUDACITY TO USE OUR NEIGHBOR'S FIRST NAME AND SAY THAT "THE SMITH'S" USE THEIR SERVICES AND THEY WILL BE SERVICING THEM TOMORROW SO WILL GIVE US $100 OFF. I DIDN'T SIGN UP AS I TOLD THE SALESMAN I NEEDED TO ASK AROUND AND TALK TO MY HUSBAND BUT SOMEHOW IN THIS CONVERSATION I SLIPPED MY LAST NAME. THE NEXT DAY ANOTHER NEIGHBOR NOTIFIED ME THAT THIS SALESMAN WAS USING MY LAST NAME AND SAYING WE USE THEIR SERVICES, TOTALLY UNTRUE, TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!! TO GET PEOPLE TO SIGN UP! NO ONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD HAS EVER USED THEM AND THIS KIND OF SNEAKY TACTIC MAKES THEIR ENTIRE OPERATION VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY. I WOULD NEVER EVER USE THEM. I have a rather good sized active wasp nest in the soffit of my roof. I called and asked for a quote, they couldn't give me one because they've had issues with their employees on ladders... Do you not insure your employees health and safety? This seems ridiculous, who's ever heard of a company that won't set foot on a 6' ladder? They said they would speak to management and have them call or email me back by end of day. Three days go by without contact, so I called again. This time, same spiel and they'll have a manager call me same day... No call. I wasted 5 days waiting for this company to contact me and help me with a pest problem. They clearly are poor communicators and don't seem to care much about their employees if they won't even insure them for falls. I will never try this company again. Orkin or Terminix will be getting my business.

I strongly not recommend them to you. They knocked my door one day, offering 50% of the service because they are "in my neighborhood" and said I can cancel it anytime. I signed electronically with my payment----later I tried to cancel the service, and they emailed me their "contract" which said if I have to cancel, I have to pay the cancelation fee ($100) , as well as reimburse them the discount they offered at the first service. ---All those information they did not provide when they tried to "sell" it to me, and of course never provided a hardcopy of the contract, and not give me time to read any electronic contract. have you ever deal with business like this? If you do not want to be fooled by them, do not do business with them.

A salesperson came to my house and offered to get rid of my mosquitoes, ticks, and other pests. I told him i did not want a contract because of a prior bad experience and he said no problem! Asked me to sign a small tablet to book a visit with one of their tecks. To my surprise they told me later that mosquito 'control' was extra!!! I was unhappy and asked to cancel the whole thing. Now they want to charge me $254.00 for cancelling a contract that I did not know about! I am appalled at the degree of dishonesty! I have mosquitoes, tciks, and small flies in my yard. Horrible experience

I could not have known we would have mice this year something that required a visit above and beyond the usual service visits. I have found them to be on time, super reliable great to deal with, really thorough and courteous. Twice we have had Kevin here and he has been great to deal with. If I could give zero stars I would! It’s like a scam of bait and switch. I had a rep appear at the door offering 50% off and I could cancel without cost any time. After 2 unproductive services I wanted to cancel but the claim of you can cancel any time without cost, wasn’t true! I’ve been charged a $100 cancellation fee and anditional $159 for them to recoup the 50% off they gave me for the services I already received and paid for. The last “service” was only a service person coming in looking at fireplace from a distance, as that was where mouse was seen, and a trap put behind stove as that was where the mouse was seen going. In the 2 service calls after traps were put out with no bait, no mice were ever caught or irradicated!!! The second service we were given a verbal list to go to Home Depot to get various items to block holes in the home as service tech didn’t have the supplies in the truck to do his job!!! Mouse bait and screening were on the list!! Their notes in their computer as to what was done were incorrect but company kept telling me what the notes said as I kept telling them who ever entered the notes entered erroneous information After calling them today to find out why they were coming out for a service which in Dec I thought was canceled at no charge and getting the run around for 3 hours I was basically told the service wasn’t canceled and the contract I initially signed and was told I could cancel at any time at no charge was going to be charged $100 for canceling and $159 to make up the discount they gave me for a total of $259! Oh which I informed them I would not be paying as I was lied to about this whole thing and the service received was awful and didn’t do what they said it would do!! I got the threat of it would go to a collection agency which I informed them that doesn’t phase me. I will not pay them either so go ahead and spend company money trying to collect a fee I shouldn’t be charged in the first place. During the call I asked for the CEO or Owner contact information and not one rep had even the owners name never mind the contact information. How do you work for a small company and not know the owners name? RUN RUN RUN as far as you can! There are so much better companies than this out there!! I called a local service they came in 24 hours and they charge less than the “Discount Price” of Insite and new company resolved the mouse issue in less than a week.

I signed up with Insight Pest Solutions in the Summer. So far, they came twice and did the service. They are on schedule for once every quarter for different kind of treatment and also if you request something you would like to add, they will do it. I really like people came to do the service. They are polite, professional and detail oriented. I have been noticed changes around the house. We got much less bugs this Summer than past years. I will continue use them for the quarterly year around service. Thank you guys from Insight Pest Solutions!

Had Insight for about Six months while living in Framingham but then had to move suddenly due to work. Initially, the plan was to simply take/transfer the service once we moved to our new home. They supported that idea. We stayed in an apartment as finding a new home took longer than expected. Insight agreed to terminate the service due to the circumstances. Then about 1 month later, we got a communication indicating that there was a $150 balance for not-yet-performed services. Multiple communications later, the balance was to be 0ed out. We thought things were finally resolved. But, around the 15th of every month, they either call or e-mail or send an invoice still wanting the money. I continue to forward back the e-mail chain to them to see the earlier/previous resolution, but they never respond to that chain----it's like they don't even read it anymore---except to send out new invoices. Obvious clerical error, in my opinion, at this point as things aren't getting updated on my account in their system. Maybe this feedback will trigger account correction given they do seem to respond to comments on here. If not resolved this month, I am going to report them to the BBB....don't know what else to do. For clarity, the actual service/spraying they did was good and the people know their stuff. It's just this end-of-contract clerical error stuff that he ruined our perception of them. If not for that, we would recommend them.

DON’T DO IT!! What a hoax!!! They come to your house and solicit business with falsifying information. Then they come out and charge more and more! Then when you find out and want to cancel them, they charge a $170 cancellation!!! And then to top it off, their customer service will hang up on you and interrupt you while you are speaking with them!! I cannot say this enough, Don’t hire them! You will regret it!

They do NOT get rid of termites or wood ants-- in fact, they won't even tell you what an obvious infestation is!!! They promise to send an expert, that never comes A full summer later, there are JUST as many spiders, ticks, stink bugs, drain flies and mice feces as ever!!!! The worst part is YOU CAN"T CANCEL!!!!!!! They have your credit card number and though I've sent servicemen away with orders to stop my subscription, I STILL GET CHARGED!!!!!!!! I've written the company over & over & over, but they still keep charging me-- and there's NO LESS BUGS!!!!! This is a racket you can't get out of!!!!!

They come in a timely manner and take care of all the problems you may be experiencing or even preventative care.
