Worst company ever to do what you did to an employee. It is called wrongful termination. It was a he said issue and just because he's been there 5 years you take his word over another employee, no proof on what that person was telling you that my son stole a magazine. Mind you he has plenty of money. Plus he waits a week to tell you what happened and you expect somebody to have a cash receipt for a week in their pocket. My son came to his interview on the day and a few hours before he just had give CPR to his grandmother and they pronounced her dead. He was so excited, happy, loved this job espically after lossing not one, but two grandmothers in 2 weeks and his aunt. This was something to help him foucus, and help him move on. How dare terminate over someone else word, what kind of boss are you. You could have gave a written warning, verbal warning but no you just terminated. Never ever would I want my son, father, friend or anyone to work for a company like this. You are horriable for what you just did. No compasstion, no good reason, no proof, no nothing. If all of these companies took the word of another employee there would be so many law suits and no one would have a job. For instance, if I hate or I am jealous of one of my employees I want to get her fired I am going to tell my boss she stole money, even though I know it is not true, but just because I know the company listens to every word other employee's say she will be fired. How freaking stupid does that sound????
