I cannot say enough good things about MTB Pest Control, and the way that they treat their customers. Not only did they provide excellent service and help us get rid of an ant problem we had, they also noticed an area of the home where mice were coming in. They took care of the problem the first time, and the best part, there is no long term annual "maintenance" program that I was charged with the other big companies. I called back about 6 months later because we were seeing a few ants, and the owner explained that the temperature was about to drop in the next few days, and the ants would be gone due to the cold temperature. He could have easily come out, and charged for another full service, but instead, had the integrity to explain why the service was not necessary. The price for there services is much lower than what I was paying with my previous company. I highly recommend MTB for pest control services anywhere in the DC Metro area.

He was hired to get rid of a bees nest in my apartment. A day later the bees are back! When I called to tell him his services were ineffective he informed me it would be an additional $75 for the job he didn't successfully complete in the first place. Be wary!

I was a bit disappointed with MTB. I called Terminix pest control for possible termites. A technician showed up and said that he did not see any termites but he did discover and showed me 2 small termite mud tunnels in my basement area. He snapped a camera shot to show me exactly what he found and gave detailed information on what a mud tunnel is . He suggested to treat the mud tunnels to be on the safe side. This Terminex inspection and estimate given was all for FREE. I called MTB pest control the next day for a second opinion. The person on the telephone stated that MTB could take a look and evaluate if termites were present or not. (No discussion was mentioned regarding a service charge). Well the MTB technician arrived and did a quick observation inside my house and immediately stated that no termites were found. He checked the basement area and failed to discover the two mud tunnels that Terminix had discovered. After the quick assessment he wrote up a ticket that said $74.00 was due. I said , "What?? No one informed me when I made the appointment that there was a service charge for an estimate". He replied, " Well my son should have told you that when he made the appointment", all of our service calls are for $74.00". No apologies, or lower price offered for the miscommunication. Just basically he wanted his money. I was very disappointed with trying to support a small business.

Some portions of our house had termite issues. We are thankful to MTB Pest Control, these guys are handling the problem and have been inspecting the infected areas on a regular basis for thorough extermination. I haven't actually had a chance to hire Milton (yet), but I wanted to leave a review regarding his response time and general professionalism. I'm in an awkward situation where I'm on the west coast, trying to sell a house on the east coast, and I have a bunch of minor repairs that need to be done before the date of the closing. One of those repairs is a pest treatment for powder post beetles, and I'm having an insanely hard time even getting other companies to answer my calls or e-mails - including the company that performed the original inspection and estimate! Milton answered my call from inside an attic, and followed up via e-mail within a few hours. He's been beyond understanding with regards to my extremely tight timeline, and the quote he gave me was quite reasonable. Unfortunately (well, sort of unfortunately), my realtor has in the meantime found and scheduled another company to come in and do the work within 12 hours. Milton's turn-around time was more like 24-48 hours. In normal circumstances, that's a stellar turn-around time, but a looming house sale makes even 12 hours matter. If for some reason things fall through with my realtor's selected company, I'll get back in touch with Milton. It's extremely reassuring just to know that a company as professional as MTB exists, and I strongly suggest that you hire them for your pest-control needs.
