Very disappointed by Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control. Last week, I had called John to schedule a bird removal. John informed me that a tech would be out between 4:00pm and 6:00pm. John gave me a call today (day of the appointment) to confirm that I still wanted his services to remove birds from my vent. I confirmed "yes," and he told me that Matt would be by my house at 4:30pm. I waited until 5:30pm because I figured that the window of time was still in effect, despite having been told that Matt would be here at 4:30pm. I gave John a call at 5:30pm and left a voicemail. 6:00pm came around and still no technician. I called John 2 more times and texted, still no response. Interestingly, John has been very responsive prior. Because I thought Mid-Atlantic will still coming out, I stayed in the house when I had other errands that I could have run. In addition, I had waited all weekend for this appointment to come to remove the birds and clean my vent. The time that I spent waiting, I could have called and scheduled another company to do the job. I am very disappointed at the poor customer service in the sense that they had a lack of courtesy to call me and tell me that they would not be able to come out and reschedule--that is the least that you could have done. I am glad that I did not spend $250.00 here for this type of service. Please manage your schedule better and possibly look into hiring a main service dispatch agent (if you do not have one already) to intake customer calls, schedule appointments, and manage your technicians' schedules.
Update-5/16 to review: John gave me a call several times the next day to apologize and inform me of an incident that had occurred with his tech. I have increased my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. However, I have already scheduled with another provider.
