Excellent customer service. We found we were getting roaches delivered with the mail, in flyers and advertisements. Defend made two visits to our home and eliminated the pests.

***READ THIS REVIEW*** I called regarding a rodent that was trapped in a vent in my house. When I explained the situation I was told that Defend Pest Control would not be able to help me remove the rodent. I asked the gentleman on the phone if he could refer me to someone who could, and the only answer he cared to offer me was a tasteless "joke" about how I should ask my boyfriend for help. I will never spend any money on a business that treats their customers with such little respect. To make matters worse, the man (didn't catch his name) proceeded to invade my privacy by texting my cell regarding the prior conversation. I left this experience feeling utterly violated, and disgusted.

Very nice guy however I was not happy with how he conducts business. He came out for a rodent problem and did nothing but put some traps in my garage and charged me for it. He didnt seal any holes, just told me to seal the hole in my garage. I then noticed mice in my kitchen, he told me he had to charge me b/c it was a separate issues, so I paid for it. I was supposed to have a warranty on both problems. I called him back b/c there was no improvement, and he said he really "couldnt afford" to keep coming out? I was supposed to have coverage for both issues since I paid for both! He told me he wanted me to pay for a yearly service. I said OK, but after doing research and thinking, I called him back to cancel. He wasnt honoring the warranty and he really had done nothing but lay some traps inside for $250 (I could have spent $40 at home depot and done same exact thing). He got very upset with me for cancelling- even though Id paid him every time he wanted more money. The next pest control that came out did things right. Used a thermal camera, removed the nests, found all 12 entry points and sealed them on their own. Shook their head at him laying traps inside before taking care of outdoors. All I knows is the issue is now under control and the new company has honored their warranty and never asked for more money. If hed controlled the problem for the money and done things right I would have left a good review. But charging me $250 for a few traps and one visit- not happy.

Driving to work with my family. This van cuts us off to cross the intersection and causes us to floor the breaks to avoid an accident while they are sticking out into the road. The older white guy with glasses had the nerve to give us the finger when he almost killed my family. NEVER use this company. Obviously they are trash.

Called to set an appointment for service. After giving the service address in the Resevoir Hill neighborhood of 21217 the owner (I presume) stated that he does not service "that area". I asked if he was located in and serviced Baltimore City. He said yes, but he does not go to "that part of Baltimore". He said he primarily works around Patterson Park.
