Living in rural, western Maine and not far from a wetland, the local mosquitoes are legendary ... and seem to be getting worse with the warmer winters and summers. Five and six years ago, it reached the point that we had to wear head nets all summer long just to go out to feed the animals or simply walk (or run) to the barn. We met Erik and his Mosquito Squad team one spring at a garden show and explained our frustration. He promised a solution, and he delivered. Because of the presence of animals on the property, we chose to use his organic spray. We saw a huge difference after the first spraying, and both the humans and the animals on the farm were no longer always covered in a cloud of mosquitoes. The following summer was better still and each year since then we see fewer and fewer mosquitoes. For the past several years we can now sit outside on summer evenings with a glass of wine or a cold beer and see only the occasional mosquito. We never thought that would happen. Yes, we will sign up again this year for sure!

We could barely use our yard in our new home last year the Mosquitoes were so bad, we had to do something. We decided to give Mosquito Squad a try based on a mailer we received. Any relief was welcome but it has exceeded expectations. I don’t even have to put on bug spray when I mow the lawn, when last year even when I used bug spray I was eaten alive.

These guys always show up when they say they will and I've never had a mosquito service be so effective. It's great to be able to go outside morning, noon and night and not be attacked by mosquitoes! You may pay a little more, but its worth every penny for us.

Since using Mosquito Squad of Southern Maine , I have not seen a single tick on my property (we had hundreds in previous years). We used the 'All Natural' treatments and they worked terrifically. This is especially important to me now that I have two little ones playing in the grass. Though ticks were my main concern, we also reaped the benefit of far fewer mosquitoes which made hanging in our backyard bearable last summer. I have received extremely prompt responses any time I have a question for them, as well. I highly recommend their service.

We have been customers of Mosquito Squad for 3 years. Our property has a .50 acre yard and it was infested with ticks. I couldn't let the kids or dog out to play without having to remove at least 3 ticks off each every time they came in the house! After our first spray I didn't have to remove any ticks because there were none! I have been a more than satisfied customer ever since! I always get a reminder the day before a spray and the fellows that came to spray always let me know they were there and to keep kids and pets in the house for about 20 minutes after they left. Now we can play, garden and use our yard without worrisome ticks.

Tried them out this year as an alternative to Tru Green but I quickly realized that was a mistake. First application was fine, but after 2 1/2 weeks, we started seeing mosquitos again so I was looking forward for our second application to take care of the problem. Payment was processed, and a week went by without anyone coming out. When I called to ask about it, I was told they were in my area and would be by “within an hour” and they never showed up. Needless to say, I’ve since cancelled my account and would not recommend them to anyone. My gut tells me they over committed customers without the right staffing, but that isn’t an excuse.

We have been very happy with this company. We have used them for many years now. We live surrounded by trees and a pond and while we enjoy having them, we didn’t enjoy how many mosquitoes and ticks we had. With our monthly sprays we are able to enjoy being outdoors and enjoy our patio mosquito free! We highly recommend them and have sent friends their way who have also been very happy! We like the customer service as well. We had a spray and got an unexpected downpour rain. We found the results were not as good and I emailed them and they came and sprayed again, no charge. Thank you mosquito squad! Looking forward to our 2019 sprays!

This is our first year with Mosquito Squad. We use them for the benefit of mosquito elimination but our sole purpose for having them was to treat our property for ticks. Upon there first visit we were mosquito free in about a week. We had tubes laid for ticks as well. Before the tubes were set, we found 3-5 ticks a day in our house. I'm blessed to say that we have only seen 2 on our dog since. We live in a heavily wooded area. I absolutely feel more at ease in our yard. Highly recommended.

This is our 3rd summer using the mosquito squad, we wouldn't be without them!! I would say mosquitos are cut by 85%, we can enjoy being outside again!! This year has been a banner mosquito year, after first spray we still had a major mosquito problem, I emailed customer service and received a reply the next day saying they will be there the next day! At no charge to me, of course!! Now that is customer service!! 2nd tome did the trick!! I strongly recommend!

My neighbor hired Mosquito Squad (she opted for the more 'green' option they offer). I called MS to see if what they'd be spraying might be harmful to my elderly cat. The person I spoke with assured me it wouldn't be harmful. I asked what they'd be spraying and looked on-line and in fact one or more of the things they spray may cause respiratory distress in cats. I arranged to be called the mornings they'd be coming so I could make sure my cat was inside during spraying and for a while afterwards. The first time they came they did not call. I happened to see them arrive and went to speak with one of the sprayers to check why they didn't call. He claimed that he did, but when I looked on my phone it was clear that he had not. I have spoken with people in the office multiple times, all assuring me it was set up in their system and I would receive a phone call first thing in the morning letting me know they'd be coming that day and approx what time. I have only received a call once, when they were at the property and wondering if they could spray or not (I wasn't home and didn't have access to my phone until later). My cat was outside that day. I called as soon as I saw the call and asked if they had sprayed. No one returned my call. Yesterday I saw the truck arrive, again I had not received any call. The customer service of this place is terrible and I would never do business with them.

After finding up to 5 ticks a day we made the decision to have our yard sprayed again. We have used Mosquito Squad in the past and were happy so we went back to them. They came out within the week and no ticks since after the first spray. We signed up for 7 treatments. We will continue to hire them every year.

I am not a customer, but I believe they just sprayed my neighbors. Not sure what they spray or if it impacts the health of others in the community. No Notice of them spraying or signage of what was sprayed. Camps are close together and most people have their windows open. How inconsiderate this company is!!!! Aug 3 update.. I received a call from them soon after I posted. They were very responsive and told me that it was really the CUSTOMER'S responsibility to notify their neighbors that spraying is being done. I was impressed with the information they provided and the quickness.

Seacoast RV Resort has been using Mosquito Squad for the past five years, they come in to spray once a month, if it doesn't work it easy just call them back and tell them it's not working and they will be out there the next day, I highly recommended them.

BE CAREFUL with this company, they will take your money and never show up! Paid for their Platinum Package $799 for mosquito and tick, suppose to have four applications by now and they never showed up, they keep rescheduling and still have not shown up. Woman at office is of no help and keeps saying there is nothing she can do. Hopefully can get money back and find a reliable provider.
