In researching what to do about a noisy critter under my mobile home, The Center For Wildlife in York suggested I call Randy at Maine Wildlife Management. Randy responded promptly to my phone message and was extremely curtious, professional and informative. Because he is located several hours away, he told me he would go the distance if needed, but also gave me referrals closer to my home in Kittery, one of which was at my house the same day I called him. Randy’s website is also extremely informative with photos, video and narratives on a variety of wildlife species. I learned a lot and would recommend anyone searching for solutions to visit his website and/o give him a call.

I asked locals for referrals and went online ; in other words I did a thorough search! I spoke with a couple of people who claim to do this job. Randy at Maine Wildlife is high above the competition ! He is totally knowledgeable on this subject and does a thorough job! He is also friendly and reasonable. We had a skunk infestation ( particularly troublesome!) and he took care of it promptly at competitive rates, but much more thoroughly than competitors offered to do.

This is the first review I've left for anything, service rarely goes above and beyond expectations - and he couldn't be more deserving of 5 stars. Would give more if I could! An absolute pleasure to deal with - super knowledgeable, a real wealth of information. The awesome part is how willing he is to share that info in an easy-to-understand way. We have had Randy come out to a couple of the properties that we manage, once to remove bats (gone!), and another to investigate a squirrel issue. His honesty was so appreciated, informing us that the squirrel issue wasn't really an issue at all, but one rogue one. It would have been easy for him to say that there is an issue he needs to addressed and make some money off us, but his honesty ensures we will use him for years to come!

Before coming across Maine Wildlife Management's website, I had called two other similar companies and after leaving numerous messages, never heard back. I then called Randy and within 24 hours, I had received a call back and had booked an initial inspection for the following week. During the initial inspection, Randy answered all of my questions and came across as very knowledgeable about the animal removal/home assessment process. He did a thorough review of the property and home and provided me with an explicit plan of action and quote for the work. Randy is very nice and instilled confidence in me that he would do a quality job. I highly recommend him.

Randy has helped me out a couple of times with pesky squirrels, once at home and most recently at my workplace, which is a beautiful building surrounded by an equally beautiful stand of white pines. The squirrels gained access to the building by chewing through screening under the eaves, and as Randy explained, since we are only here during the day we didn't hear their scurrying around until there were a lot of them! He very patiently checked the many entry points, waiting several days until all of them had been trapped, then attached a squirrel resistant wire mesh to keep them out. Now, I'm happy to see squirrels running up and down the pines knowing that they won't be coming inside!!

We had squirrels who got in to the rafters in basement. Maine wildlife management came out quickly when we called, set out traps to catch the destructive rodents, did a thorough inspection to diagnose the cause (carelessness with garage door it would appear), and offered good advice on how to keep the critters out of the insulated rafters in future. I couldn’t be happier.... and all for a much cheaper price than I was quoted by one of the National pest control firms: go local is the lesson

Randy came, gave the house a thorough going over, and told me I didn't have squirrels in the attic after all. All I needed to do was put mouse traps up there. No charge. He was knowledgeable, professional, and most important, honest. I'd certainly recommend him to anyone having critter problems.

Randy and Maine Wildlife Management are simply the best. He was able to solve my red squirrel problem, which was no small task. Simply identifying where they were entering the building took experience and skill (others had tried and failed!). His exclusion work was so professional and done in a way that did not disturb the appearance of the building. He made multiple site visits to make sure everything was perfectly. Randy is fantastic! Communicative, knowledgeable, and patient with rural(ish) Maine GPS issues. He was able to come out the same day, and did a through job looking for critters where they shouldn't be. Thankfully we had loud mice, and not a racoon like we had thought.
